Beautiful surroundings, Katherine was a fantastic host and was very welcoming. Lots of extra touches in the hut such as breakfast and milk. A 30 minute walk to the heart of Oxford along a scenic canal, stunning views, wildlife all around and easy to walk. Katherine kindly allowed us to park before check in time. We visited the Perch pub which is a 10 minute walk and the food was delicious. Highly recommend this accommodation. We stayed two nights and loved it! Book now you won’t be disappointed! We had such a lovely, relaxing time during our stay! The space was clean, cozy, and exactly what we needed to unwind. Everything was thoughtfully set up and made us feel right at home. Communication with Jon was easy and smooth from start to finish. We would definitely love to come back and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!

Overall, accommodation was great and everything went well. Things that I would like to point out. List of amenities these things are not correct. 1. Carbon monoxide alarm for the fireplace. The bedroom is not operational which is a hazard. 2. Coffee machine was not there. We asked and we were kindly given a jar instant coffee. 3. Outdoor to dining area doesn't exist. there is ourdoor furniture but not a dining area. 4. Outdoor kitchen doesn't exist either. They are correct, there is a BBQ as mentioned on the amenities , but that is not a outdoor kitchen. 5. I understand there is no Wi-Fi available. Which would I was okay with as I have 50GB of data. What I was not aware is that the location is in a virtually a signal dead zone there was one spot that we had to go to , if we wanted to receive our Whats-App messages. I would see this as an important thing to mention to people. Lastly , we had the lovely couple who lived at the corner who were available when we needed to ask questions.

If you are looking for someone to escape to with the peace and tranquility of the countrywide with just a sprinkling of natural farm noise - this is the place to be. We had a really relaxing few days here and Rosalind was very helpful and in hand if you need anything. We always had a friendly greeting from the 3 dogs who would be delighted with a belly scratch. Loved it here.

Highly recommend this beautiful shepherds hut. Lovely private setting and the host was fabulous and very accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble, gave some great recommendations for local pubs and restaurants (definitely worth a visit), also checked in to see if we needed anything which was a lovely touch, along with the goodie basket which was a lovely surprise. Thank you very much for having us, we would definitely return to this beautiful spot.

Very close to, just 15 minutes, but out of the sprawl of Oxford; in beautiful farmland with fabulous walks and charming pubs, rivers for dipping into. Beautifully decorated space with everything one needs, quietly located in the corner of a field. Really comfortable bed with cushions, perfect place to read, with good light and a window. Recommend local-ish Mason Arms for relaxed coffee and papers. Good shower and thoughtful makeup mirrors in communal bathroom. Very quick response (booked hours before!) and kind and welcoming welcome.

Me and my partner needed a relaxing retreat after a stressful few weeks, which we got, great host, great location. Will will be staying again.

Wow. Where do I begin! Outstanding!! 11/10! As hosts, Sonia & Adam were delightful, they really couldn’t do enough for myself and my ten year old Daughter. They were there if we needed them, however, respected our privacy and left us to it otherwise. The Shepherds Hut was just incredible. Squeaky clean, the most divine bedding and mattresses ever! Well stocked kitchen, complimentary shower gels, fluffy towels, copious amounts of wood for the hot tub, under floor heating, incredible views of the countryside, everything really was perfect. We were lucky enough to watch deer walk by, along with lots of partridges & pheasants. Superb location for visiting the Cotswolds, lots of local walks on the doorstep, The Tavern pub in Broom was wonderful for food. Flip flops are a good idea for going to and from the hot tub as it’s chunky stones underfoot. I would recommend Sonia’s Airbnb to anyone, it was faultless! Thank you!

Amazingly set out with everything in a small space. The setting is beautiful and peaceful The bed was super comfy too. Ann, the host was very helpful, and I can highly recommend her produce too.

We had an amazing experience. The place , surrounding locations were stunning. We enjoyed every bit of it. We can’t thank Margaret and Mike enough for their hospitality, warmth . The house well equipped, will all possible amenities. The fire pit , bbq elevated the experience even further.

This was quite possibly the best AirBnB we’ve ever had the privilege to stay in. Stunning location; superb hut with excellent amenities and lovely Easter themed additions; lovely welcome with wonderful recommendations for things to do and surrounded by sheep, lambs, horses, cows, birds and farm cats. What an excellent two nights. Thank you so much - we’ll be back!

A beautiful place - a quiet location away from the hustles and bustles of life. Would definitely recommend if wanting to be with nature and it's true beauty - the Bluebells were out of this world. Awaking with the morning chorus was truly delightful. Thank you Jill for providing such peace and tranquility.

I recently had the most wonderful stay at this charming shepherd’s hut, for my partners birthday and I can’t recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the peaceful surroundings and the cozy, beautifully designed space. The hut itself was spotless, warm, and incredibly comfortable, with every little detail carefully thought out to make the stay feel special. The sauna was an absolute highlight, such a luxurious touch! The food was another standout feature - fresh, delicious, and made with so much care. Every meal was a treat, and it was clear that quality ingredients and thoughtful preparation made all the difference. Oey is an outstanding cook! The room was a true haven—comfortable bed, lovely decor, and a peaceful ambiance that made it so easy to relax and switch off. Waking up to the sounds of nature and enjoying a morning coffee with the beautiful views. Thank you Oey and Andrew!

Louise was a fantastic host. The shepherds hut was perfect for a quiet getaway in the Cotswolds. Tucked in the corner of a beautiful garden garden, a quiet country lane. Louise is a lovely friendly lady to welcome you and she was very helpful with information about the surrounding area and recommended us a fantastic nearby pub for sausages and mash. Very comfortable bed in the cosy hut with a log burning stove to keep warm, and great shower facilities with an area to change. You won’t be disappointed if you visit Louise’s shepherds hut. What a fantastic place to stay.

Amazing stay! Such a lovely little shepherds hut which was well equipped and perfect for us. Breakfast provided was a bonus and felt so welcome by Rosalind and family. We would definitely return if we were in the area!

Had a very peaceful stay at one of the shepherd huts. The host was very helpful by sending video instructions which meant we could settle in easily. The Hot tub was brilliant and the shepherds hut had everything we needed on arrival. All we had to do was to sit down, enjoy the sun and relax. We also enjoy a few walks through the local woods which were absolutely beautiful with stunning views. We would definitely consider staying here again.

We had a really wonderful stay, Rachel was an awesome host and was so helpful and proactive. The hut was stunning and so were the surroundings. We would recommend the local farm shops and Bird land (lots of dog friendly activities). The kind gestures from Rachel really made our stay special.

Rob & Deb were great hosts. Very informative on dining the property and use of the hut. This was our first time using air bnb and we were pleasantly surprised. The hut was clean and tidy and equipped with all utensils and amenities we needed throughout our short stay. The area was great with scenic walks both steep and gentle trails and beautiful woodlands. The hot tub was a lovely added touch, as well as the milk, eggs, bread and treats that were left for us. Thank you very much Rob and Deb. I would highly recommend this Shepard’s hut stay !

We had a lovely peaceful stay here for our birthday! The bath took a bit of working out to get the right temperature but we were lovely and warm in the end despite it being 1°c outside - thankfully there were bathrobes for us to use which was perfect! The canal and a little shop are literally 2min walk from the hut and we went to a nice pub just down the road (the admiral nelson) - you can either walk down the road or the canal to get there. Our dogs loved the paddock and cosy fire 🔥 Thank you so much 😊

A lovely stay in the shepherd's hut at Bruern Farm, stunning peaceful location making it a great place for some r&r, with everything you could need. The fire pit a real bonus to take advantage of the weather we luckily had, lots to do and see. A great breakfast at the Bruern farm shop cafe, lovely trips to Burford (the garden co. is a must if your a gardener), food at The Fox in Barrington (lovely setting by the river) and The Old Shed.

We had a lovely stay- my friend and I were in the area for an event, and as we now live quite far apart, took the opportunity to stay somewhere beautiful. You are on the edge of a farm; there are sheep audible in the fields next door, and an impressive array of birds who sang the most delightful chorus outside. We paid to have the hot tub heated on arrival- would recommend this as it takes a while to heat up otherwise. It meant we could have a dip, walk to the local village pub for dinner, and return to the hot tub after too. I informed Ruth that my friend was coeliac so couldn’t have gluten- she kindly checked what would help and provided a gluten free loaf. There was also a bottle of milk, some margarine and jam in the fridge though as these had been used by previous guests there were crumbs in the marg so my friend couldn’t have it but had some bread and the eggs, along with milk for tea, so we did hugely appreciate those.
