We loved this place. The way Franco has decorated it is so detailed in art and speaks of his family. The books are old and amazing and the manner he displayed them: some on their side, some standing up. The shampoos from his travels are a marvelous art display. The old photos of the home…The small liquors are cute. In the bedroom, the hats in one corner and the old luggage in the other…This is the most interesting Airbnb I have ever been in. And that’s completely beside the unbelievably beautiful view from all windows. It’s right on the lake. This place is amazing.

This is a very very special place and we had an amazing holiday here swimming and paddle boarding on the lake, hiking in the mountains and enjoying many meals al fresco with the very special view of Orta San Giulia from the house. This is an old family home so don’t expect fancy modern furnishing and equipment. But the antiques and decor only add to a special feeling and beds are comfortable, bathrooms fine with plenty of hot water and everything you need for your holiday is provided. We brought our own paddle boards as it was cheaper to pay to bring them than hire locally and we enjoyed being able to jump on them from the end of the garden and find some sun when the sun was off the garden late afternoon. Also there are bitey midges so bring repellant.

Mario welcomed us with arms open to his beautiful home! The house was beautiful as in the pictures, very quiet. Mario helped us with anything we needed at any time. We felt very at home! We recommend to anyone who wants to have a peaceful home in a beautiful place with an amazing host to come to mario’s home. It is also close by driving to a big supermarket and to all the attractions this area has to offer. We definitely will be back again!!

Nous avons passé un séjour magnifique ! Sur place, c'est Paolo qui nous a accueilli de manière charmante et très complète. La propriété est splendide, les lieux spacieux et très beaux, la terrasse ensoleillée, les lits confortables. Fin septembre, les poêles à pellet réchauffaient très rapidement les pièces, et l'énorme cheminée de la cuisine était un vrai plaisir. Le village est tout petit, il y a un supermarché à cinq minutes à pied, ainsi que la magnifique Villa Della Porta Bozzolo située à quelque pas de là. La région regorge de sentiers de randonnée, nous avons dû en faire une bonne dizaine, en croisant des chevreuils et mouflons. Plein de choses magnifiques à découvrir dans la région: la villa Bozzolo, les îles Borromée, le Sacro Monte di Varese, des villes comme Stresa, Intra, les marchés de Luino ou Laveno…

Two friends and I (from the US) decided to explore Milan and the surrounding cities and lakes and chose Jessica’s place because of the spaciousness, location and privacy. Jessica is an extraordinarily hospitable host and was so helpful both before and during our stay. She provided us with many, many local recommendations for shopping, food, restaurants and areas of interest. We had planned to tour multiple cities including Turin, Lakes Maggiore and Como, Asti and others. Jessica shared helpful tips and stories about all places. We felt right at home with comfortable modern interior space and relaxing outdoor space with views of treetops and distant mountains. Special mention for helping coordinate retrieval of a forgotten item from a nearby town! Do not miss great meals in the nearby town of Briona at Osteria del Caccetta. Wonderful local vibe in the close by town of Novara. Grazie mille, Jessica! We hope to visit again 😀

Wir waren mit 2 Familien eine Woche in der Unterkunft. Das Haus liegt weit außerhalb und ist sehr ruhig. Es hat einen traumhaft schönen Garten und ist sehr geräumig. Bei unsere Ankunft war alles sehr sauber und angenehm. Die Villa samt Möbel stammen aus einer vergangenen Zeit mit tollen Flair, wir haben uns gleich wohl gefühlt. Im Erdgeschoss lebt eine sehr nette Dame mit einem ganz lieben Hund. Unsere Kinder haben gerne mit dem Hund gespielt. Der Weg zum See dauert mit dem Auto ca. 15 Minuten. Wir haben die Woche dort sehr genossen und können die Villa für Leute die etwas Ruhe abseits des großen Trubels suchen sehr empfehlen!

Prachtige ruime villa (mooier dan de foto’s) met eveneens prachtig uitzicht op het meer. De binnenkomst in de hal gaf meteen het juiste gevoel! Prachtige trap met zicht helemaal naar boven. De restaurants van Baveno op loopafstand (10-15 min). Wij zaten met 2 gezinnen van 5 personen in het huis. Oprit was wat krap met een grote auto.

Fantastic villa in a wonderful location with outstanding views. Excellent amenities. Would recommend. Owners made us feel very welcome.

This was our second time at this property. The place is absolutely amazing and we highly recommend it to anyone wishing to have a luxurious vacation nearby Italian lake. We also give extra credit for the hosts due to they (and the cleaning staff) have made tourists’ life a bit easier on relation to very strict Italian recycling requirements :)

The house is wonderful. The views of the lake are exactly those shown on the website Weather too cool to use the pool, but it was very clean and inviting. You will need a car, but roads are well marked and Stressa is about a 10 minute drive. There were six of us in our party with plenty of room for everyone. All of the bedrooms has their own bathrooms with an extra bathroom on the ground floor. We have rented many properties, but this one is among the best!!! We will be recommending it to anyone who asks where they should stay in the area The owner also has a winery about 30 min away and well worth the drive

We are a family of 5 and absolutely loved staying in Pierina's Airbnb. The place was clean, beautifully situated write at the lake, and we felt very welcome. We would definitely come back - can recommend!

MILLION DOLLAR VIEW The Villa was wonderful. Highlights are the view and the pool. The location is extremely calm and quiet. It is up a steep hill. Definitely need a car to get up and down to Stresa and Lesa. The garage can take 3 cars and is very cleverly set up so that no need to go on a steep driveway and also the road is quiet so it’s very easy to get in and out. The Villa has recently been completely and tastefully refurbished. Beautiful design. It has everything you would need. Air conditioning only on the top floor rooms but the bottom floor is cooler. There are two large living areas (one on each level) and it would work well with two families staying (one on each level) as it even has a second simple kitchen on the lower level. The service led by Elena was superb. The communication prior to arriving was excellent and also a couple of small issues (eg internet) were dealt with extremely quickly. 6 star service. Wir hatten ein sehr schönes Wochenende im Haus von Markus. Selbst für eine recht große Gruppe konnten wir sehr gut kochen, dank der gut ausgestatteten Küche im 1. OG. Die Lage am See ist toll, man hat sich im Haus direkt daheim gefühlt. Markus war gut erreichbar, selbst als wir um 23:30 wegen Problemen mit dem Strom angerufen haben - das war klasse, vielen Dank!

Beautiful view of the lake - even prettier than the pictures. You will need a car to get to & from the home - the road to the home is narrow and up a steep hill. The air conditioning works well in the bedrooms - the living area was comfortable but would be warm during summer months. We would happily stay there again.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt bei Christina sehr genossen. Bei Bedarf war sie jederzeit für uns da, ist sonst jedoch sehr diskret, kaum spür- und sichtbar obwohl sie gleich nebenan wohnt. Der grosse Pool war super, bis auf den gut hörbaren Duchgangsverkehr war es sehr ruhig. Es gibt viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Ponte Tresa und Lugano sind schnell erreichbar und auch im Dorf gibt es mehrere gut erreichbare Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in gehnähe. Einfach Top!! Wir waren das erste Mal hier, aber sicher nicht das letzte Mal. :-)

Super Familienurlaub, Haus war wie beschrieben. Kontakt mit Tiziana war super , immer hilfsbereit und einen Tipp auf Lager. Haus ist weit oben auf dem Berg, ohne Auto geht hier nichts, das war aber vorher klar.

Hi Property has a great outside space which is why we chose it, Pool ,bbq, plenty of sunbeds, music system. Inside are huge areas but didn't really use as we visited in Summer. The interior is dated from a taste p.o.v but everything you can think of is supplied and its very clean and well looked after. Area is suburban but only 5 minutes from the lake and beach, 10 minutes into the old town with goods bars & restaurants. Great host always contactable.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Magnolia! The villa is stunning, combining historic charm with modern comfort. The space was perfect for our family of 8, with plenty of room to relax and enjoy. Simion, the host, was incredibly accommodating and attentive, ensuring our experience was seamless from start to finish. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and luxurious getaway. We would definitely return!

Liebe Marilena, wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit in der Unterkunft und Marilena hat auf Fragen sehr schnell reagiert. Der Garten , der Pool und der Ausblick auf dem Lago Maggiore einfach nur Traumhaft. 😍 Auch vielen Dank für den Tipp zur Pizzeria „Aldo“ in Arona. Sehr lecker und nur zu empfehlen 😋 Wir wünschen dir und deiner Familie alles gute und wir werden mit Sicherheit nochmals vorbeischauen 😃 Wenn ich mir noch etwas wünschen würde, wäre es eins zwei Sonnenliegen mehr. We had a fantastic Christmas stay, great for families with bedrooms in each corner giving everyone their own space. The house is not walking distance to anywhere close but Arona is a short drive and full of great places to eat. The kids room and play area outside were great for our little one and the house is dog friendly with a gate to stop them going upstairs. A great place, well equipped for groups and families, we loved it
