This was a great house for a family reunion. The space was large and the location very convenient to head into Manchester City. The hot tub is surprisingly great for up to 4 people. Plenty of beds are spread out across the 2 top floors. The house was clean, comfortable and easy to keep warm.

We had a lovely family break. Managed to keep 3 young children under 3 years of age happy. They loved it!! Also the adults had some down time after they were asleep. We were a bit loud, for which I apologise but only laughing and giggling. We are a loud family. My only negative was that we couldnt get our heads around all the technology, but I put that down to my age. Never managed to get the oven going although we used the Airfryer/ Microwave and BBQ, so no worries. Thank you!!

Great hosts and ideal house in perfect spot for an extended stay in between house move. Would make a great short stay house too.

Everything we wanted under one roof. The ‘George & Dragon Pub’ was fab with its pool table, dart board, karaoke machine, massage chairs and bar. Hot Tub was also great to use as was the outside garden space. The BBQ was also great. Living space was limited but adequate and beds were comfy. Would definitely look to re-visit in the future. Andrew was a great host and was very quick to respond to any questions I had. Thank you 😁

An absolutely wonderful few days spent here - we were initially a bit hesitant booking here only because it's listed under Sykes, which we know people who've had issues with the company in the past. But our worries were soon eased because of the clear and friendly communication from the hosts themselves. We had everything we needed and more, and the house felt very private despite being a part of the farm. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful stay in the peaks!

Lovely cottage & relaxing week away. Alan was very responsive and a lovely host, cottage is stunning very cosy and clean. Good location to visit surrounding areas and hikes. Beautiful part of the world, would love to stay again ❤️

Ian and Jo have been fantastic hosts with the most beautiful and well decorated home. We felt at home soon as we stepped through the door. Their attention to detail in and out side of the stay is amazing. The outdoor space is incredible, we spent most of the weekend outside enjoying the peace and quiet. The home was lovely and clean and had everything we needed for our stay. If there was anything we needed they were only a phone call away, Great location with shops and train station few minutes away. Thank you for the wonderful stay we didn’t want to leave. Hopefully we will be back soon xx

I had such a lovely time at this lodge! The location was spot-on—so peaceful and tucked away, it felt like the perfect escape. If you're after some quiet time in nature, this place is ideal. The host was amazing too—really responsive and went out of their way to make sure everything was just right. The lodge itself was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed to feel at home. I’d highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a quiet, comfortable retreat in the Peak District. Can’t wait to come back!

Absolutely beautiful lodge in stunning surroundings. Came as a family of four and enjoyed the hot tub, the local walks and the local pubs. The lodge is spotless, the hosts are really responsive and very friendly. Extra touches like the robes and milk and bread were appreciated. Couldn't find fault.

The lodge looked as the images showed, clean ,spacious and nicely situated. Ideally situated for lovely walks and in a 2 minute walk you can be in a lovely old pub or eating in a nice friendly little cafe , if you want more there are many places within a short drive away. Thanks Barry.

Fantastic stay for my sisters hen party. The location and lodge were beautiful and Leon was really helpful and responsive. The caretaker was on hand to help with building the hot tub fire and the lodge had everything we needed! Brilliant stay thankyou

This is our second time here and we have enjoyed every minute of it as much as the previous time!! We stayed here recently for a few days and it was a much needed break away. Eraine was once again a super responsive host!! The location of the cabin is so private and cozy and the surroundings are beautiful. Thank you for a lovely stay we will definitely return!!

We had. Wonderful stay in the cabin and used the hot tub everyday . The cabin was perfect for the two of us and the view from the cabin was amazing. We visited Chatsworth , Bakewell and Matlock . Guests get 10% off if you visit the bear inn , food was lovely nice choices would recommend . It’s a 4 min drive from cabin or 25 min walk .

We absolutely loved it here, it was very peaceful and relaxing, the hot tub amazing and the host was reachable at all times. The welcome goodies were a lovely surprise. We will certainly be back.
