This hidden gem was beyond our expectations with pristine views and tranquil surroundings. The home is beautifully furnished with all amenities to suit your needs. Spacious interior that comfortably accommodated 4 adults and 2 children (one child with special needs). A must for families looking for a relaxing and refreshing time away! A small reminder that the home is lakeside with sunset views and the breeze does get gusty at times

We have stayed here before (more than once) and it never disappoints. We would definitely consider again! If you're looking for a place in Sudbury, I highly recommend you come here!!

great place to stay and is pet friendly. hosts are responsive and the place looked like the pictures. great walk out to yard for the dog to use and go outside. lots of space and rooms to choose from for sleeping/a large family or group. the hot tub was perfect and a nice relaxation after a long drive to Sudbury. local walking trails are nearby for any pets and take you to the Terry fox sports complex/college boreal. nice walk and easy to find. would stay again.

This is an amazing home, the attention to detail in all areas is impressive. The house was spacious enough to accommodate our big family. There are a lot of activities to do inside in the winter. We enjoyed the peaceful stay. We will go back for sure.

This is a lovely home, a lovely layout and such a treat to have a hot tub and sauna. Clean, comfortable, great beds!

Can't say enough praise about this place. I was on the fence when booking this because it was 4 to 5 hour drive from Toronto and we only had 3 day weekend to spare. When we arrived at the place we were astonished by the beauty of it. The place sits on the waterfall between 2 lakes. We were using a canoe and kayaks to explore both lakes. We hiked 2 trails. The nights there are amazing and you can see all the stars. We were offered some fresh harvest from the vegetable garden. We used sauna at night and briefly jumped in to the hot tub. Having neighbors cabins close to ours we were not bothered by any of this, despite some reviews saying that it was noisy. We were absolutely happy in our say. 10/10 would book again if I'm on the east coast of Canada and have a weekend to spare. I wish we could stay there more. Patrick and Amy were friendly and helpful, we had great chats and saw each other on the trails.

The perfect relaxing getaway if you like things a bit on the rustic side. Being able to swim, fish, paddle around, soak in the hot tub, or just relax and enjoy the view right outside the door was ideal. Plus there was enough space and stuff for kids to keep them occupied and happy all day long. Location was far enough from the city to be completely peaceful, but close enough to easily get supplies or just visit for a few hours. Beds were comfortable and the wood fire stove was there if we needed it to take the edge off cool mornings or evenings, making a cozy space to read and relax. Keep in mind that there is no hot water or potable water on site, but if you're used to simple cabins or camping, this is nothing to worry about. Leslie was great about staying in contact and clearly loves this place herself, which makes it a much better place to be than some of the more generic rental-only options out there. We are already planning our return for next year.

For our first time using Airbnb, the experience was very positive. Instead of our usual tropical getaway this year, we chose Heather's A-Frame cottage for a few days of rest and relaxation. We found it easily and were greeted by a personalized welcome poster as soon as we opened the door. Everything was very clean and tidy, and the very subtle scent of the timber frame set the mood immediately. It didn't feel like walking into someone else's house or even a hotel as much as it felt like it was really "ours" for a few days. The view from the windows was gorgeous, and their size and placement lets in plenty of warm morning sun, which in spring was key. We also enjoyed the smokeless fire pit, and the hot-tub. Overall very warm and cozy, and we came home feeling relaxed and ready for a return to reality, which made the price well worth it. We can really see how this place would shine all the brighter in summer. 10/10!

We had a great stay at Mercedes’ property this past weekend! The house was absolutely immaculate, with every detail thoughtfully attended to. The kitchen was fully stocked with every amenity you could think of, making it easy to cook and feel right at home. The location was wonderfully private, offering stunning views that made our getaway feel serene and magical. Mercedes was a fantastic host—she was incredibly helpful and provided clear and detailed instructions for finding and accessing the property, which made everything smooth and stress-free. While we were there, we got almost a foot of snow, but Mercedes was quick to have someone come and clear the driveway, ensuring we had no trouble getting in or out. She also provided more than enough firewood to last the entire weekend! We are beyond thrilled with our experience and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a cozy, relaxing retreat with family or a loved one.
