I read many great reviews here in Airbnb before to book with Helmi and his family. It's usually a risk when you start with big expectations but definitely they surprised me even more. The guesthouse is clean and the room comfortable but the food..... the food guys is something you will never forget! I think his mother in law simply make the best bubur Manado in all Sulawesi, there where fish or chicken with plenty of veggies at every meal. impossible to leave hungry, maybe the opposite. I couldn't expect nothing more than this! I loved the stay with this great family.

The stay at Panorama Homestay was very good. Yakobus and his family are very friendly, the rooms were clean and the breakfast was also good. The double bedroom has a nice bathroom, but the bathroom of the twin bedroom hasn't a propper sink. Thank you very much for the stay at your place.

Yakobus and his son Yansen were great hosts and always helpful with every question! The apartment is very central but at the same time like a small wonderful oasis in the jungle. In addition, Yansen‘s wife is a fantastic cook! I am really happy to come back and enjoy the awesome tours with Yakobus :-) Highly recommend the stay!

Nice, quiet and cozy place to stay in Tomohon, the room is newly renovated, very clean and spacious. Bed is very comfortable, also has a table/desk and lamp as a working/reading and writing area. Host Sharon is very responsive and attentive, her co host is very approachable and caring. Also we had the help from the hotel staff as well. Hotel has private car hire with/without driver with a reasonable price, and driver speaks basic English and knows the area very well. If you like being in a quiet place, this one is perfect for you, it’s not in the town center where most noises generate from; and you can see the iconic Gurung Lokon from the lounge just outside. At night, no noise of motorbikes zooming by, only frogs and some random dog barks. Bukit Doa is within walking distance, town center is about 1.3 miles away, which is walkable, or you can ask the hotel staff to order a Grab for you, they are very helpful. Staff cleans the room everyday unless you told them otherwise. Plenty things to do in Tomohon and the surrounding area. Sharon and her co cost are happy to give you tips about this area, what to do and where to go. Overall, this is a very pleasant place to stay in Tomohon, very clean and comfortable, unlike other hotels we stayed, this one is outstandingly Morden. I recommend everyone who come to Tomohon stays here.

I went there because of recommendations and I extended my stay, because it is such a beautiful and relaxing place. And the hosts Lian and Pian are always there if you have a question, if you want to find a guide or just want to learn more about their work, which is very inspiring! I highly recommend Dodoha for a visit and staying there for a couple of days. The bamboo houses are so comfortable with a wonderful view of Lake Poso.

La famille de Naharuddin est très accueillante. La femme de Naharuddin présente à notre arrivée, nous a tout de suite mises à l'aise, se souciant toujours de notre bien être, le séjour s'est très bien déroulé. Naharuddin propose d'organiser une sortie en bateau vers le village de Karst. Sa femme propose tous les soirs de préparer à manger. La maison est agréable, la vue de la terrasse est superbe. La chambre est confortable (lit, sommier, moustiquaire et ventilateur) et la salle de bain est sommaire mais pratique. En bref, ce séjour à la Ramang Ramang House était super. Si vous pouvez trouver le temps de donner des cours d'anglais aux enfants du village la femme de Naharuddin sera enchantée. On a été ravie de faire leur connaissance, c'est décidément une adresse qu'on retiendra.

Richard is a SUPER HOST, took me experience the best as he can, Richard's mom and family very kindly ,hospitality, the room very clean and tidy, his father get emerency in hosptial, but they still host me becase they worry about me , really apprecited, Highly recommend!!! With Best Wishes

We had a really nice stay, would definitely recommend it! We first booked one night in the treehouse, with was cozy and had an amazing view on mount Lokon. We liked the home, the host (family) and the location that much that we extended our stay with 2 more nights in the Rumah Ttorre Bedroom, with it's large windows and spacious room also very nice. The family was very inviting and took us on a trip to a pottery village. And are also willing to prepare for you a special meal with strange animals from the market of Tomohon: fruit mouse, snake,... Spicy, strange but really cool they did this for us.

Very nice stay in Tomohon. Felt welcome in the house and were treated so nicely! Nice places to eat nearby, and we walked into town no problem, or easy to catch a Grab. Fergie helped organise some transport for us as well as hints for other activities to do :) recommended!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Ne' Pakku Manja Family home, and it was truly the highlight of our trip. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed like family and treated to an unforgettable experience. The accommodation is beautifully designed with every detail thoughtfully curated. The incredible shower made from an upturned coconut shell was a unique touch! Meyske's food was exceptional, with a wide variety of delicious and beautifully presented dishes. Every meal was a culinary delight. The private 2-day tour with Meyske was inspiring, emotional, and incredibly informative. Meyske's deep knowledge and passion for the local culture left us in awe. We learned so much. In conclusion, this stay exceeded all our expectations. The exceptional hospitality, stunning accommodation, and enriching tour made it an experience we will treasure forever. Highly recommended!

Meyskes place is wonderful. The space is so nice to relax and chat with other guests. The food they offer is very tasty with a big variety. The best about the place are the hosts, not only Meyske also her mother are such good persons who help you out with everything you need. Even tho Meyske was not around when I stayed there she called me to give me a very good overview about what to explore in that area. Highly recommend to visit!
