Truly was a very wonderful experience! I stayed here with my sister & mom for a low key birthday celebration. We really appreciated how cozy the house was. The house was neat & there were plenty of towels, linens & even slip on shoes to use for by the hottub. Some major highlights were the ability to listen to the creek all hours of the day, having access to a clean hot tub, plenty of space for everyone to have their own space & there were lots of windows to allow for nature sounds to fill the house. The back patio area, right along the creek & by the hot tub is so peaceful to sit by with a drink. James was very responsive from booking to checking out. We had to reach out during our stay & he handled what we needed within minutes. We also appreciated how stocked the house was with utensils, cooking pots, blankets & robes in each room. We will be staying again!

We had a great stay at Caitlin’s place! The treehouse was gorgeous and everything was so well thought out. There was a little snafu with the hot tub before our arrival which meant it was out of order but Caitlin went out of her way to make up for it even though it was out of her control, which we so appreciated, and we had a great time regardless! The location was great - lots of nature and hikes around but we also had a lot of fun exploring Narrowsburg and checking out Caitlin’s recommendations. Would definitely recommend, great getaway for a couple!

I almost don’t want to write a review so I can keep this place to myself. We were lucky to get into to Jenny’s cabin last minute - Jenny’s communication has been quick, detailed, and packed with so much warmth, just like her cabin. The space is beautiful and the location (right in front of the river) is naturally healing. It does take some effort to start a fire for the hot tub, but a truly one of a kind and rewarding experience.

Beautiful cabin, particularly liked the huge windows to watch the sunset and hawks swooping by, the wood-burning stove and the hot tub! Anna was very helpful when the power very briefly went off. Lots of towels and everything you could need in the kitchen. Had a great stay!

Great place to stay in the Catskills. If you’re into cold plunges, sauna, and hot tubs then this place if for you. The sauna and hot tub are heated by an attached wood stove so you need to be pretty versed in starting and maintaining fires. Since we were, this place was awesome. Thanks for a great stay and thanks for being so responsive.

James place was cozy and had really good vibes. The hot tub is worth every penny. It smells like eucalyptus and green tea and is the most relaxing. We always do a lot of cooking on these kind of trips and James pantry was really well stocked with seasonings and they even had gluten free flour! They also had a great array of pots, pans and dish ware. They have an uppa baby bassinet that worked well for our 2.5 month old and the black out curtains were a good bonus for naps. The house is not as secluded as I thought it would be however it felt cozy and private from inside and on the deck and in the hot tub. Really great stay and definitely would recommend.

Very nice place, if you’re thinking doing a getaway to somewhere peaceful and quiet,celebration or get together this is the place you’re looking for. The Owners are very nice, great communication. Looking for something to hike or fishing, this is also the place you can look for many nearby places. Overall experience is very nice place to stay, very clean, a lot of comfort in the house. Will sure comeback again!

Great location with a great host, Bridie’s home is a wonderful place to experience NY state. From the privacy and comfort, to the peacefulness of the area, this was a much needed relief from the city life. Bridie as a host was very accommodating, had great recommendations and info about the local area, and made our stay welcome to where I’d recommend to anyone considering!

The Rockpine Cabin was the perfect Catskills retreat for me and my two sons on February Break. We stayed there while we went skiing in the area. The cabin provided a terrific cozy setting to enjoy winter in the woods. Maria and Max have thoughtfully upgraded the cabin with a number of modern amenities. Despite it being super cold outside, we stayed warm with the remote-controlled HVAC units in every part of the house. The kitchen is beautiful and the appliances are modern. The cabin is super clean. The furniture very well appointed and there is fun art hung throughout the house. The living room has a brand new huge TV. We enjoyed cooking and spending time as a family with some of the games left for visitors. When not hitting the slopes we enjoyed exploring some nearby towns like Port Jervis, where we bowled and visited the historic Erie Hotel for lunch. This was such an enjoyable stay… it’s houses like this that makes AirBNB so special. Well done, Max and Maria!!

Our stay at Jennifer’s place was perfect. Myself and two of my bandmates went up for a quiet music retreat. The private location and seclusion was the perfect backdrop for our writing session. We got so much done in such a wonderful environment. We can’t wait to come back.

Really cute place. Comfortable beds and Sofas. The propane fire place was ideal. It was cold and icy when we stayed and we pretty much stayed in the whole time. It felt very warm and cozy. John was very responsive and helpful, he made the whole experience very easy for us.

Susie's cabin is legitimately amazing. We were going for a rustic weekend out in the woods--and Susie's place delivered. Clean, warm, cozy, comfortable, with a great deck and BBQ grill/fire pit out back. There is a little store right next to the cabin, grocery stores very close, and a butcher if you have a grilling/BBQ night in mind. Susie herself was also lovely and was very sweet and responsive. Would highly recommend--particularly for a couple from NYC who is looking for a change of pace for a few days. Susie's cabin is also very easy to get to.

Exactly as pictured. Cozy home, with all the kitchen items you need to cook. Beautiful property and comfy beds. Appliances are easy to use, and WiFi works great. The hosts are communicative and thoughtful; they were flexible when bad weather interrupted my stay. Definitely use the directions they provide for smoother roads; it was a breeze getting there with the little detour they suggest.

Kevin’s dacha was wonderfully homey, abundantly well-equipped, cozy, and beautifully decorated. The Eastern European decor and theme was inspiring and lovely for us. The wood stove, book collection, and game collection were major highlights for us that made the weekend. The instructions and local guide provided were perfect— we ended up using the suggestions provided heavily— and Kevin was super responsive and helpful when needed. Honestly, one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve ever had! Thanks so much for such a wonderful stay!!

Perfect location for a small family looking for a ski weekend at big bear. Conveniently location just a quarter mile away from the ski area. Cabin was clean, well equipped and well maintained.

We had the most wonderful stay at Larry’s cabin in Smallwood! From the moment we booked, Larry was incredibly kind, helpful, and communicative. His advice on local activities and attractions was spot on and truly made our trip memorable. The cabin itself was cozy, warm, and inviting—exactly what we were hoping for. The fireplace was such a fantastic feature, adding so much charm to the space. It was incredibly easy to use, and Larry thoughtfully supplied plenty of firewood, kindling, and paper, making it hassle-free to enjoy cozy evenings by the fire. We also loved watching the local wildlife around the property! The deer often came up to the cabin, and it was such a treat to see them up close—it added to the peaceful, natural atmosphere of the area. Our dog, Lily, had the time of her life exploring the yard, which was perfect for her! On Larry’s recommendation, we visited the Smallwood dog park, and it was a highlight for Lily. My wife and I enjoyed Johanna’s cozy cabin very much. It was very warm and tidy and it was easy to get around to attractions nearby. We loved hanging out by the fire and watching DVDs and using the well-appointed kitchen. A great stay!

This place was really beautiful and exactly what a few close friends and I needed! The hot tub is in a gorgeous setting; views from the house are incredible. Really cozy to hang out by the stove in the living room, and we had fun playing foosball! Local farmers market, Rivers Edge for a delicious dinner, and renting out the old-fashioned bowling alley at Rohman's made it a perfect weekend. Beds and showers were great as well, and I was impressed by the books and collection of psychoanalytic texts (if anyone else is interested in British Objects Relations—maybe that's just me). We did need a car and there isn't an easily available taxi service so be prepared for that, and in the evenings needed to have a designated driver since it didn't feel safe to walk on the road at night.

We had the best time at Amanda s cabin in the woods. So cozy, so comfortable. It was impeccably clean. I wish I could live there. Amanda responded right away, the fact that it is pet friendly is a plus!!! I want to come back as soon as possible. If you want a little getaway, THIS is your spot. My husband, myself and our furry baby had the best cozy time ( FYI: I m all about cozy!) Thank you for everything. For those who are like me, you have found the perfect place! Enjoy 😉

Had a lovely stay at the Gin Cabin! The cabin is just 2 hours north of the city, making it an easy weekend trip. The house is located on a quiet street overlooking the mountain view. Upon arrival, the house was very clean. We really enjoyed the wood burning stove and the hosts supplied plenty of firewood which was great. The town is a short drive away which has a bunch of cute stores and restaurants/bars to explore. I can imagine in the summer months the deck outside the front of the house would be perfect for cocktails and a dinner party. I can’t wait for my next stay!

We had a wonderful stay by Derrick and Lori's peaceful woodsy cabin. The place is immaculately kept and so thoughtfully decorated, we felt so cozy and right at home. It snowed, making the surroundings even more beautiful (bonus that it was our sons first snowfall) and we just wanted to stay indoors and enjoy the cabin and there was plenty of entertainment, from the reading nook, to the games, big screen tv, jukebox, and more. The cabin was well heated as well. We particularly enjoyed watching the snow come down in the screened in porch. The beds were very comfortable, our hosts were always responsive and helpful, and we wouldn't hesitate to come back here.
