We had a beautiful weekend at Jerry's lake house from being able to enjoy the surrounding outside area, or just spending the night inside relaxing. Jerry responded timely to all of our questions and was very kind. Would love to visit again!

The flexibility for Ck in & Ck Out is hard to find. Lots of Clean Space in the house, Very Friendly and helpful People. Would definitely recommend and come back .👍👍

The house and Dave were fantastic. The home was beautiful and extremely clean. It was very clear that the home has been loved by the family and cared for extremely well. It was also very well appointed, so whatever we needed (kitchen utensils, sheet pans etc) was right there. The views were absolutely stunning. We had cold weather during our stay so we didn’t use outside at all but we plan to book again in the summer to get the full experience. All the bedrooms were great and comfortable, even the basement wasn’t musty or dingy. Dave responses to questions we had were almost instant. All around an amazing stay and would HIGHLY recommend to anyone thinking about staying her.

Wonderful host. Very clear and respectful-and in our case helped us out beautifully in a pinch. The house is very comfortable—a classic farmhouse with plenty of amenities. The record player/vinyl collection is an added bonus. The word burning stove and the dayroom it is in is a great room to lounge in, the kitchen is well stocked, and the surrounding area is very quiet and quite pretty-wonderful hemlock groves across the main road down the hill. Not far from Livingston manor and other small nice towns. Definitely would recommend and would be happy to return. Ideal for a small group getaway. And also, though it is close to a decent sized road, in the winter when we were there for 3 nights-maybe a half dozen cars. Extremely quiet in general and at night specifically.

We had a wonderful time here. I would definitely recommend a visit. We needed relaxation and that’s what we got. We spent much time in front of the fire (which is what we look for in a winter getaway.). And as far as we’re concerned, a wood burning fireplace is the only way to go. The house is beautiful, clean and well equipped. The bed was very comfortable. Being it was a large property, we thought we’d be able to take hikes. You can definitely do so but keep in mind that the property is very sloped. There’s a trail leading to two chairs which is, in my opinion, manageable. However, to continue, you really need to be in shape. So, if you are, have at it! We went out once to eat at Apple Valley Family Restaurant in Millford. The food and service was excellent. Would recommend.

Jessi and Kate's place is so special and unique. The barn is spacious but incredibly cozy and welcoming -- we felt so at home during our stay, and it was a great space for two people and a dog. The kitchen is well-stocked with every appliance and utensil you might need for a great meal at home, and there are lots of comfy nooks to read and relax. We brought our pup who had an amazing time exploring -- the barn is truly dog friendly with dog toys and dishes available. The surrounding roads are beautiful, quiet and great for long walks, though they're also pretty hilly. While we were there (early March) we saw a lot of wildlife, including deer, coyotes, and wild turkeys, so were careful about keeping our dog on leash. The area is very rural and beautiful, but there also are some amazing restaurants and shops in Callicoon and the surrounding area. Jessi and her mom Kate were also helpful and responsive to any questions we had and proactive with advice and recommendations.

We had a great stay at Wood’s Edge! The home is beautifully decorated and so comfortable. We really loved all the games and activities. Vanessa was a fantastic host and super responsive. Perfect place to host family and friends- we can’t wait to come back!

Loved the rustic feel. It was the prefect size for 3 adults, 2 kids, and 2 dogs. It snowed alot during our stay so we stayed in most of the wknd. We def took advantage of the fireplace. Also woke up to the driveway being plowed, which was a nice surprise. Was also about to cook our first meal and noticed there was no more oil, contacted the host and they had their caretaker bring us some. The host also checked in on us the next morning to make sure everything went smoothly and was very responsive to our needs. We def recommend staying here. We just got back and miss it already!

Thomas is a great host! a Very accommodating and generous man. He takes care of anything you need. I highly recommend staying here. The place is beautiful, tranquil and has 100 percent positive vibes. You won't be disappointed!

Wonderful host, warm and inviting home and great guidance/recommendations for local dining and activities. We had a great time and I strongly recommend if you’re looking in this area.

The Tiny Tails house is a marvelous place to spend a few days, or an entire week like we did! The one bedroom home is perfect for a couple, and was ideal for us and our dog. The apartment itself is downstairs, with a kitchenette opening into a living room with a grand piano & living room. The bathroom, laundry room, and bedroom are all conveniently close together, and had plenty of space for us to spread out in. Upstairs features a large yoga studio that opens into the pool area, which is absolutely spectacular. The pool gets sunshine all day, and can be heated (though we didn't use it), and the views around the pool are incredible. The pool is fenced in, with plenty of grassy areas. The rest of the property is massive, with plenty of areas to explore. We used the tennis court a few times, and strolled through the garden and fire pit areas. We would love to come back and stay in the main house with a group of friends and explore the area a little more!

This place was absolutely beautiful and was exactly what we were looking for. Clean studio right on the lake, nothing better than waking up and looking out onto the frozen lake from bed.

We had fun staying at Jeffrey’s place, wonderful location to just chill and relax. Jeffrey is very nice. Very Helpful. Thank you so much Jeffrey!

Johns place was perfect for a little getaway. Our dog loved it as much as we did. We walked around the lake with stunning views (especially around fall season) and the fireplace is great for doing s’mores at night. Dasha was absolutely amazing, friendly and always reachable if anything.

Monica was a very welcoming host. Her apartment was as advertised; very spacious and comfortable. We felt at ease upon arrival. We would absolutely stay at Monica's unit again.

Great relaxing place, the amenities really made it, Would stay there again for sure. Perfect place if you are looking to slow down for a few days.

My wife and I enjoyed Johanna’s cozy cabin very much. It was very warm and tidy and it was easy to get around to attractions nearby. We loved hanging out by the fire and watching DVDs and using the well-appointed kitchen. A great stay!

Such a cuteeeeee getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. This home was even more gorgeous in person, and the hosts have a great attention to detail. (Eg, blankets, glassware, condiments) My partner and I cooked and it wasn’t bare like other bnb’s, there were even farm fresh eggs for brekky! The only catch I will say is that if you’re visiting in the winter, bring ALL your layers!!! The cabin took a few hrs to heat up, and it was freezing. Still worth every dollar!

What can we add that hasn't already been shared? This was our 3rd visit to Meng and Andrew's and we can't wait to return. The cabin is cozy, beautifully designed, and has everything you need for a few days away. The beds are especially comfortable. New this visit was the sauna, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The area is ideal for what we look for in a trip outside the city - small town restaurants, shops, and breweries conveniently located but a property so peaceful you can easily stay in all weekend. Meng is very responsive, with an excellent list of recommendations and instructions. I know that if we were to encounter any issues during our stays he would be very helpful. See you next year!

Unbelievably beautiful cabin with great amenities located in a peaceful area. One of the best Airbnb’s ive stayed at.

Amazing place - perfect for romantic getaway just 2 hours from the city. The place is cute and has all things you need for a night in. They have the cutest alpacas and dogs, make sure to drop by their pen and say hi! The views, both at night and during the day, are amazing and we’d recommend carrying some firewood to light up a bonfire, a setup for which is, right outside the cabin. Cory and Sonia are amazing hosts. Our car got stuck in the snow in their driveway and they personally came and helped us get it out and also made sure to drop us back on the road in the morning. Amazing stay!

Patrick was very good at communication. He reached out to make sure we got in ok, and also checked to make sure we were enjoying our stay. The house was a nice combination of old and new styles. The beds and blankets were very comfortable. The kitchen is small but well equipped and had everything we needed, and it was nice to sit all together at the dining table. We also enjoyed sitting by the fire and watching tv. The wildlife (deers) were wonderful to watch. Even though the yard was covered in icy snow the property was very pretty, and I’m sure in summer it’s even better. We loved it and would definitely recommend it if you are looking for a quiet retreat.

Julie's place was the perfect winter getaway. The fireplace, hot tub and sauna warmed us and the very well-equipped kitchen enabled us to prepare great meals. The house was beautiful, with two living rooms for different activities and energy levels, a game room downstairs, a dining room with a large table and chairs, and comfortable furniture and beds throughout. Julie texted me to make sure that our every need was met. We had a snow and ice storm, and she had the driveway and walkways plowed, shoveled and sanded twice, and kept plenty of salt on-hand. We hope to return sometime in warmer weather so we can enjoy the pond, too.
