We stayed here for my son's wedding. Very peaceful, private, and comfortable. Husband saw otters in the pond while walking the dogs! Deer in the yard both mornings. Comfy beds and lots of games if you have time for that which we did not unfortunately. I would highly recommend staying here! It is a very short trip to The Hive wedding venue too! Thank you for a great stay!

Great location and perfect home for our family gathering! We wanted a place that was centrally located for family to meet up for the weekend and it was PERFECT! There were enough beds for everyone and great space for all of us to just hang out and spend time together! Easy check-in/check-out, super clean home, great neighborhood!

house was great! we were in town for my daughter's wedding and our whole family had room to get ready and visit at the house! loved it!

This cabin is perfect for summer, and has plenty of indoor space for winter visits. We celebrated with 10 people. The kitchen / dining room is spacious. Hot tub out back had no issues during our stay and maintained temp in 15 degree weather. We used the AirPlay feature in the game room to cast our devices and stream our favorite shows and pictures during our stay. Plenty of hot water for everyone to shower, the dishwasher does take a little longer than others but is absolutely silent. Beds are comfortable, the hosts have provided essentials like towels, cleaning supplies, kitchenware. 5/5 stars.

Great place to stay. Would definitely recommend her cute cottage for a nice relaxing trip. We did not use the outdoor amenities. Very cozy place to relax for a dinner and movie night with friends.

GG’s Cabin was perfect for a quick weekend getaway. It had everything you could ask for, Jana and Chelsea are quick to respond to questions, and pay great attention to detail. The space is very cute, quiet, well decorated, the bed and sofa are incredibly comfortable, and the fire pit/table was a great spot to relax. Would highly recommend this cozy little cabin, and we look forward to visiting again, especially in the fall as the changing colors will be beautiful!

Tyson not only made our stay feel at home, but he was the most accommodating host. Our wrestling team with 5 kids had a big kitchen, cozy living rooms, laundry area, and comfy bed rooms for all of us to stay. We would definitely consider this place again if we are needing to stay in the Des Moines area. Tyson was soo generous in letting the kids finish their laundry before we left the house. I even missed the most comfy bed in the master bedroom since leaving this house. I am going to have to consider getting one for myself. Tyson will make sure you are feeling at home and will be responsive if you need anything, and for this I recommend anyone who is looking to stay in the Des Moines area to check out this house when staying the night.
