Thank you Kerry so much for all you did to make our stay what it was. Even during the storm you helped us and our furry family members. We sincerely appreciated your communication, initiative and kindness. And the house was perfect for our mini family reunion. Maybe we’ll come back during sunny summertime someday :) and enjoy that beautiful porch. It would be nice to have wifi but also it was good to be disconnected and there was some cell service. Hinton is a lovely town with kind people.

A beautiful place… that my grandmother rented 50 years ago. Beautifully refinished … but they kept the uniqueness of the house. Everything was perfect!

Stayed here for a ski weekend at Winterplace and the house was a quick drive to the slopes. So much so we decided to come back at lunch to dry clothes and relax before going back out. The house was very modern and matched the pictures and description.

We’re on a road trip and looking ahead, we stumbled upon this hidden gem! Finding a pet-friendly place on short notice isn’t always easy, but this spot checked all the boxes. It was clean, well-organized, and offered stunning views. Despite the chilly weather, we still couldn’t resist stargazing from the porch—an experience I hadn’t enjoyed in years. We’ll definitely be back when we get the chance!

Lovely place right on the river, perfect for a couple’s getaway! Decor inside is very cute; loved the local photography! Waking up to the river was beautiful. Renee was very helpful in giving us information about how to watch the river levels, as it was very rainy during our stay. The wood-burning fireplace kept us warm and cozy! The internet does cut in and out a bit during bad weather, but we had enough signal for emergency alerts.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay along the New River. The check in process was easy, the instructions were great, and the house had everything we could have possibly needed, and more. One of the best equipped houses on Airbnb I’ve stayed at in a long time! The house was very clean and full of thoughtful touches, like cookies and dog treats next to a personalized welcome sign. Unfortunately the store next to it was under renovation, otherwise that would have been another nice amenity! The house served as a great jumping off point while we explored a lot of family friendly hikes in the NRG, and then felt great to come back to at the end of the day to relax. We ended up cooking almost every meal and the kitchen had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again if I’m in the area, and recommend to anyone. We had to small kids, four adults, and a dog with us and it fit us perfectly.

For me personally, this was my favorite Airbnb i have rented. I needed the seclusion, one of those getaway from everywhere type vacations and this fit that perfect. The pool on the lake was so cool along with the sauna, i was there everyday. Its 20 minties from town but there are some very goos restaurants and its 1 hiur from new river gorge with very scenic drives. We will be back!.

The home was very nice clean, comfortable and well appointed. Beds and linens were clean & cozy. Kelly was responsive and gave very clear instructions.

This place was an amazing winter get away! Still did some hiking and enjoyed the hot tub. Made the trip easy for pets with the fenced in yard. Walkable to restaurants. We loved the Gaines estate and Erin’s place we definitely want to come back!!! 10/10 review

Amber made us feel like we were at home. She was so inviting, always communicating to make sure we were okay and would help us when needed. The hot tub was a beautiful addition and overall was a lovely stay. Definitely recommend!

Brooke was quick to respond, easy check in . We booked last minute with no issues. Sam the property manager was great with suggestions for places to visit. This cabin is warm and cozy, perfect for a weekend getaway. Highly recommend staying here.

First impressions: clean and well kept. Thanksgiving with family worked out well thanks to the tidy house with plenty of kitchen stuff to make our meals. Central heat kept us warm and the working fireplace was great to hang out around. We didn't go out and about due to snow. There is only one bathroom but we made it work for us.

Amanda’s place was great. Was conveniently 2 miles from where we need to be. Close to restaurants, grocery stores, etc. Neighborhood is excellent. Home itself was perfect. Couldn’t have asked for a better day. Amanda responded quickly anytime I sent her a message for guidance. Great host.

Absolutely stunning place, the Mountain View was breathtaking! Wanted a peaceful environment with a homey feel and this Airbnb was perfect for it. Would definitely like to come back!

The host made us feel very welcome. The house was very clean and had such a beautiful view of the river. It was perfect for our short get-away.

We enjoyed our stay at Steve’s place on the river. We were traveling with our dogs and loved that we were able to stay comfortably with them. Our lab loved the easy access to the river! I would caution you not to use Waze for directions when leaving New River Gorge NP as the route that it provided was convoluted and a bit daunting in the dark. This was no fault of the host and Steve provided great info regarding the road to turn on as well as check in process. It was a wonderful peaceful way to spend Thanksgiving and we would stay again if ever in the area!

Absolutely phenomenal property, phenomenal views, and a cozy, clean, and comfortable cottage. Couldn’t have been more perfect for a little getaway. Highly recommend.

This was our 2nd time staying here and both times were wonderful. Great location, extra clean and well stocked with essentials. The Host was very responsive. The front porch is great for morning coffee :)

Nice rental. Beautiful views of the New River in the backyard. Rental very clean and a comfortable place to relax in the evening. We enjoyed walking our dogs around Meadow Creek- peaceful and safe little town. Yes, the train did come through during the night but I was able to go back to sleep without any issue. The train was nostalgic and we enjoyed watching it go by. The deck was a favorite place to sit… watching the river—- beautiful sunset against the mountains!

We arrived at the cabin and loved the scenery instantly. Unfortunately, a power line was down and the cabin had no power. Within minutes, Omar sent a neighbor over to offer help. The power could not be restored that night, so Omar let us stay at the larger cabin instead AND he refunded our stay. We thought this was so kind and loved the larger cabin too. The surrounding land is so beautiful. We already want to return to experience it during a different season. We’re grateful Omar was so quick to respond and had our best interest in mind. Highly recommend.

I recently had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The home was incredibly clean and well-kept, making for a comfortable and pleasant experience. The surrounding area was beautiful and peaceful, waking up to the views from the cabin was an amazing experience. Rich was extremely friendly and went above and beyond to help us check in smoothly. They were also very responsive and helpful when we had a few questions during our stay. Overall, it was a great time, and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy and welcoming spot!
