Stayed for 4 nights and it was the best experience I’ve had since I was a little kid I really enjoyed the river view and access to the water would recommend for anyone that likes nature and mountains

Great location close to trails, food, and gas. Place is clean and nice, owner more then helpful with anything even started a fire for us at the fire pit.

We visited the New River Royal Gorge National Park and other surrounding sites but wanted to stay out of the busier Charleston and Berkeley areas. Jim’s place was the perfect spot to be. We were in an apartment right beside the Kanawha River. The unit was modest but had everything we needed and was very quiet. Great spot.

I stayed in this unit for almost 3 months. The location was quiet, despite being above businesses and I never heard any noise from below. You can enjoy a beautiful view of the river and relax on the balcony that has chairs and tables. There's plenty of parking out front of the building. The building is secure. The apartment is just like the pictures. It's modern and has plenty of wall plugs. It has many amenities and lots of little extras Pam has included so all you need do is bring food and enjoy your stay. And it is super clean. Hostess Pam was very friendly, proactive and quick to reply to communications. You won't be disappointed staying here.

Lovely farmhouse style decor. Comfortable beds. Beautiful yard with stream running side yard. We enjoyed the fire pit and picnic table. Would definitely stay here again.

Suann’s place is simply charming. You can feel the love and care as soon as you cross the threshold. The pictures actually do not do justice to how cozy and welcoming it is. Suann was the most accommodating host we’ve ever had. She left us snacks, chocolates, coffee pods, candles, and plenty of essentials that most hosts do not. The neighborhood was quiet, with the occasional train, which we loved. The location is close to beautiful hiking trails with a gorgeous view of the river. Thank you Suann - we felt right at home!

Nice and clean place and comfortable bed ,good to stay for a family vacation and lots of extra bed and the place is quiet and peaceful and Danny is very responsive host.We definitely come back to stay again.

Cutest little place just enough space for one or two people. Loved seeing the horses in the pasture across the street. Road has some cars passing through but very quiet location. Clean and not too far from downtown.

We had our family Christmas here. It was great!!! I can’t say enough great things about this place. It’s fully stocked and ready for a great time. The area is absolutely beautiful. Will for sure come stay again.

This is a great house with an awesome view- the nicest place we’ve stayed in the area. A short drive to restaurants and hiking , comfortable beds and a very cool fire pit, we had such a good time. We plan to return!

Place is in a beautiful location. Host was helpful when needed. House is very cute and mostly clean with exceptions to dust and under furniture build up. Kitchen had all amenities listed. Parking was at first confusing based on needing to turn before the house to drive down hill to park behind but figured it out. Updates were nice to the home. My only too “complaints” were the lack of air flow in bedrooms and the outdated shower. Water pressure- amazing! Old shower not super practical. Overall good place though for sure! :)

Great place and Nathan is very proactive and helpful setting things up, anticipating many potential issues as an experienced host. My friends had an awesome, peaceful, and relaxing time on our vacation to go climbing. The place was very cozy, spacious, and had amenities worth the price like a jacuzzi; would definitely come again!
