The house is about 10km outside of Forde on highway 13. It looks over a lake across the street. The lake is very clear and you can swim in it. The location is secluded and very quiet. All you would hear is the bird singing. There was essentially no traffic on the highway when we were there. The house has two bedrooms and a spacious loft. There was plenty of room for 4 adults. The furniture is rustic. You can eat outside and enjoy the view of the lake and the mountain across the street. If you are looking for a house in the country side of Norway, this house is a perfect place. The host is very responsive and wonderful.

Tolle Hütte, spitzen Lage! Die Hütte ist wunderschön eingerichtet und top ausgestattet. Die Gastgeber waren sehr hilfsbereit und nett. Danke für den tollen Aufenthalt. Jederzeit gerne wieder!

Veldig hyggelig og imøtekommende vert. Kommunikasjon gikk bra da jeg reserverte huset på vegne av mine kolleger. De likte seg der og hadde alt de trengte, men det er synd at de måtte forlate huset tidligere enn planlagt. Anbefales fra oss!

Wonderful old farmhouse, tastefully renovated while maintaining the old farmhouse character. Stunning location in a steep valley topped off with a view out the window of a beautiful waterfall.

This is an adventurous stay in nature, so be prepared for an awesome stay! Upon arrival, the family greeted us and after packing our backpacks we were personally escorted up the mountain. The walk was exhausting with heavy baggage but totally worth it for the complete privacy up there. Only noises are birds, waterfalls and once in a while a plane or an avalanche from beyond the valley. We got some fresh water for cooking from nearby streams and enough firewood that lasted us our whole overnight stay. The hikes from the cabin offer breathtaking views. The hosts are very responsive and helpful via chat. We definitely want to come back for longer :)

Kjempeflott sted! Feiret julen hos familie i nærheten og dette var den perfekte basen for oss tilreisende. Et flott, rent og koselig hjem i rolig omgivelser som passet strålende som utgangspunkt for turer og besøk i området. Anbefales ✨

Wir waren ursprünglich 3 Tage Dort haben jedoch nochmal um 2 Tage verlängert da es uns sehr gut gefallen hat.

Hadde en hyggelig dialog med vert Nina og hun svarte på spørsmål som dukket opp. Fleksibel med endring på soverom ved innsjekk og viste gjestene rundt i huset. Stor plass og passet fint til å samles i stort fellesområdet. Godt med parkeringsplass og fine soverom med alt av sengetøy og håndklær inkludert. Takk for oppholdet!

This was our second time there and we really enjoyed our stay again. The communication with the hostess is very good and she is always easily accessible. The check-in is also very pleasant. The cottage is as shown in the pictures and highly recommended. We would love to come back.

We had a wonderful time in this house! A family of four can stay in this house very easy, If you dont mind hearing each other in different rooms, but we like each other so that was no problem :). The view from the terrace was amazing! The house ist very cozy and the kitchen ist very well equiped. The area ist great for hiking and the lake is very refreshing. The house ist perfekt If you dont expect a lot of luxury and want a cozy, quiet, beautiful house to stay, wich is affordable. Marit is very freindly and happy to help If there are any issues. We really recommend this house and hope we will be able to come back.

Hadde et fint opphold her. Stille og rolig område med flere turmuligheter i nærheten. Kjempebonus å kunne ha med hunden min.

Perfect, cozy home for winter getaway. We stayed here for 3 days as part of our winter Norway trip. The home was exactly what we wanted. From the cozy wood rooms to the breathtaking views it was the perfect escape. Mari was a wonderful host. She was kind enough to explain the history of farmhouse and shared home baked traditional bollers with us which were delicious and so fun to try! She was incredibly responsive, thoughtful, and her hospitality really added to the warmth of this wonderful little stay. Make sure to try the old school hot tub - it’s really cool!

Florence has a very cozy house, perfect for a visit to the area. The location is close to UWC RCN, which was ideal for us. Communication with Florence was excellent, everything went very smoothly. A recommendable place to stay!

Well equipted house, superb location – a very good experience at Arild‘s place. Owner is very easy to get in contact with, any issue is solved at the same minute :) 100% recommend for the one’s who will look at the place to rent in Førde !!!!!
