Stayed here for a girls Book Club trip! It was a large group (10 women) but the size of the home worked really well - there were enough bathrooms and we loved that we could all sit at the dining table in the kitchen together. The decor/aesthetic of the home is lovely, the kitchen was well-stocked, and we used the hot tub every day! The beach is so close as well, we went for lots of walks. Finally, loved the hanging chairs and Adirondacks on the side of the house, great spots for some quiet reading time. Would definitely recommend staying here for a quiet, peaceful beach vacation!

We had a short stay but a great time. The place was very clean, simple, but had everything we needed. The kitchen has everything you need, no need to bring much if anything to supplement from home in the way of utensils or pans. The beds were comfortable, no sagging mattresses and the linens were extremely cuddly. (So many pillows!) We were there in the cooler weather and the hvac system was both up to the task and not at all loud, if that’s a concern for anyone. The proximity to the beach was 1000% as advertised and our four kids (ages 3, 5, 7, and 10) ran back and forth to the beach all day. They adored the bunkbed room! The guidebook was a big help, and we will definitely be back as soon as we can. Thanks again!

This is a fantastic spot. I couldn’t have been happier with the stay communications to location and everything about it. I would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat.

The house has plenty of room for a large family. My son and his family along with myself enjoyed our 3 days relaxing at the house and at the beach. We will definitely use this house again.

Shawn’s place was peaceful Beautiful and very clean . Loved sitting on the Deck looking out at the ocean. The pictures and description of the place were spot on . It’s in walking distance for places to eat or have a drink The beach is directly across the street It’s in a very nice neighborhood Hope to stay again sometime The kitchen is stocked with everything you’d need to cook meals

We booked a last minute trip to Barbee Mod and we are so glad we did! The house is in the perfect location. It was a quick walk to the beach, making it easy to leave every afternoon to put our daughter down for a nap. While she napped I was able to enjoy some peace and quiet relaxing in the sunroom. The home was exactly as described and perfect for our family of 4. The hosts were responsive to any needs or questions we had. They have gone above and beyond to supply everything to make your stay as stress free and relaxing as possible. We all had a great time, including our pup!

Pauline was an excellent host and her home is wonderful. You can see, smell and hear the ocean from the front porch. Every detail of this home was well thought out for a family visiting with their dog. The large fenced in yard was perfect. The kitchen is updated and fully stocked with everything needed to cook. The additional amenities in the bathrooms and bedrooms were a nice touch. I’ve never needed to pack so little to stay in a rental home as everything we would need was provided. The location is perfect as there are multiple restaurants and a grocery store within 1 block. At night, it is very quiet in the neighborhood. Beach access is a short walk away. This home has everything and more!

Quiet (except for new some construction) location and outstanding views from Janet & Mark's place! Comfortably and attractively decorated. Especially loved the cotton sheets and towels when so many are using micro-fiber these days: ( Access to the beach (last access on west side of island) & nature reserve was great, and sunsets over Bird Island were perfection. The condo was very comfortable and close to everything we wanted to do in NMB- golf, shopping, great restaurants. The hosts Brian and Michael were awesome- very responsive to any questions we had. We would definitely recommend their place for your stay.

Angie was a great host, if this stay is on your radar just choose this! It is in a quiet and safe neighborhood, it was a perfect distance from all necessities. Our host made sure the space was clean and comfortable, 10/10!

This was our third stay and we enjoy it more each time! The yard is perfection esp for our three medium sized dogs. The house has such a cozy, comfortable vibe and we could live on the sunporch. Connie & Marty are truly the Best!! This has become our home away from home.

After Dune Delight was the perfect find! The living area and kitchen felt just like home and the beds were very comfortable! We loved how close the home was to the beach, and to all the best restaurants on OKI. We really felt like we lucked out and wouldn’t change anything about our experience. Courtney was so kind and responsive in her checking in/out instructions. We never had to reach out during our stay because the home had everything we needed! You cannot beat the quality of the home and the location to the beach!

Excellent home rental which allows dog's. Fenced in yard allowed our dogs to be safe and secure with a screened in back porch which was great to relax in. Cant wait to visit again!

Laura was wonderful in accommodating my family on their engagement weekend! The cottage is centrally located, and can walk to many eateries, the boardwalk, etc. The Emily exceeded our expectations and Laura was so responsive during our stay. The home was very comfortable and stylishly decorated. The kitchen had everything needed, and they even provided a bottle of Champagne! The screened porch and the outdoor spaces were a huge plus. The cocktail pool was a hit and we loved the green space for our dog Sailor. We would definitely book the Emily again! Thank you Laura and Jonathan for everything!
