This two-story townhouse is ideal for a relaxing week at Torquay. It has an impressively well-stocked larder of condiments, a 4-burner electric hob and full-sized fan-forced/convection oven, so keen cooks can boil, stir-fry, bake or roast very happily (BYO handheld mixer/blender/processor). The unit is light-filled, well-insulated and the split-cycle systems provide great temperature regulation even on the hottest of days. I was pleased by the laundry facilities which includes a large washer-dryer, outdoor clothesline, clotheshorse, LOTS of pegs and laundry basket! The unit does have a steep flight of stairs to the delightful 2nd-floor open-plan living/dining space and master bedroom. A photo of the staircase could prove helpful to folks with mobility requirements and so guests with crawling infants or toddlers can plan accordingly (ie BYO portable gates). It’s a 1-minute walk to Charlie Bakery for Torquay’s best coffee and patisserie. We’d happily stay here again!

5 star stay at Ocean Edge. Modern, cool and comfortable for 6 people. Walked everywhere and great instructions.

We had very late check in and booking, host responded confirming the booking very quickly! Place was perfect for us as we were travelling home and just couldn’t do the final 4 hours without some shut eye. Highly recommend.
