Lisa and James were awesome from booking,check in and check out. Very easy to get into, they mentioned the maps might lead us a different direction but had zero issues finding the place and getting right in. The home was exactly as described and amazing, never had an issue. SUPER PEACEFUL AND QUIET! Highly recommend stopping at a food store prior to coming up so once you’re here, you’re good to go!

This A-frame cabin was well worth the stay. The space was well designed, clean, well organized, and thoughtfully decorated to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that every detail had been carefully considered to provide a comfortable and relaxing experience. The interior was cozy, with new and comfortable furniture. The glass design at the front of the house allowed plenty of natural light to fill the space during the day, while also offering stunning views of the surrounding nature. The peaceful environment made it easy to disconnect from the stresses of everyday life and completely relax. Overall, this A-frame cabin exceeded our expectations. It provided the perfect balance of comfort and tranquility, making it an excellent choice for a peaceful getaway. Highly recommended!

We arrived a little early so we drove into Hillsville to check out one of Laura's suggested restaurants. We had drinks and tasty crab cakes at the Mason Jar. Our stay was wonderful as the cabin was cozy and had everything we needed. Laura suggested several restaurants but the kitchen had all the needed items to made it easy to cook there. The setup also made it easy to talk while cooking. She also suggested several trails that we did explore and were worth the ride. After hiking all day to come back to the hot tub was a pleasure. Having a gas fire inside kept the cabin warm and nice to read or watch TV. Star glazing around a bonfire as snow fell was lovely. We had no problem finding plenty of wood around the area. We so enjoyed watching the sun come up from our warm bed. Plenty of blankets. Birdwatching was amazing. Laura's detailed description of her cabin and area were 'spot on.' We did have a question and Laura was quick to answer. We highly recommend renting it

Absolutely loved our experience! Hot tub worked well, sitting out back was so serene and peaceful, saw lots of wildlife in the area. Home itself is clean and cozy, we enjoyed watching movies by the fire.

We enjoyed our stay at Altitude Adjustment! The drive to the cabin was easy for our AWD Hyundai Kona to make in good weather. The short distance of gravel that we had to travel was well packed and had good traction. Check-in was super easy and Zach was able flexible with check-in time for us. We had two questions during our stay and Zach was quick and courteous with responses.The pictures and description of cabin are accurate, except I was happy to see the stove had been updated to a flat top and there is a newer Keuirg than seen in the kitchen pics. I found the notebook provided by the host to be very helpful. I would read it at the start of your stay as suggested by the host. The views from the deck, fire pit, and hot tub did not disappoint! Though you are in a community, it is easy to feel like you're the only ones on the mountain. Would not recommend for elderly or those with trouble climbing stairs. Perfect for couples and small families!

Lovely cabin home, matching decor, fully stocked, comfy mattresses, and great amenities. Felt private but was close to extracurricular activities we had planned (spa, winery, steakhouse). Enjoyed the hot tub and wanted to have smores at the firepit (compliments of the host!) but the windy weather made a fire unsafe. Maybe next time!

Great view! Especially in October. The beds in two of the rooms are a bit small so just plan for it. Nothing nearby so be sure to bring all the food you need. Very clean place, just the expected critters around due to remote area.

Gloria's place was so lovely and perfect for us--we were on a climbing trip at Hanging Rock. The home has really thoughtful touches and we loved the wood fireplace. The tiling in the bathroom was also gorgeous and reminded me of Portugal!

We absolutely loved our stay here. Everything was exactly as described and we were here for an event but otherwise would have loved to be able to explore the grounds and attend an event at the winery next time. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you Ken for the hospitality and for being flexible with us!

The kitchen was very well stocked with what were probably the nicest pots, pans, and baking items I've ever seen in a rental, and that's saying a lot. Thank you.

We had a wonderful time at this little cabin in the woods. It's on a beautiful piece of property and even though there were a few other buildings around, it felt very private. You could hear the stream in the background which was just lovely. The cabin itself was extremely clean and very welcoming. The decor was nice without being too cluttered feeling. Just the perfect amount of stuff. I don't think more than 2 people could stay here comfortably as it's basically just one big room, but for us, it was absolutely perfect! The back deck overlooked the stream and had a hot tub. We didn't use the hot tub and it was a bit loud which drowned out the sound of the stream. Teresa said that in the future, we can ask that it be turned off if we're not going to use it, so that's a great option for next time. Overall, a great place to spend a lovely, restful weekend in Elkin. We definitely plan to come back!

Everything about this place is wonderful. The attention to detail- decorations, layouts, furniture, games, amenities, and furnishings down to shower heads, faucets and linens are great. Everything here is high quality and comfortable. The location is private, and safe. Every aspect of this place is remarkably clean. We cooked all of our own meals while here. 2 Kitchens, 3 Kitchen sinks, and again, everything immaculate! I could sit here all day and type out how much we liked this place. To make this short. The photos don't do the size of this place justice. Meant in the best way! When you book this place and arrive, you will be happily surprised at how much space is yours! Wonderful privacy, Spectacular nature views. The river is gorgeous and the setup down below is amazing. The photos show disc golf goals. In reality the location is large enough for a 9 hole course and I think they actually have 9 goals on the property (we played but never counted). We will absolutely be back!

A beautiful place for a weekend getaway. It’s a very private and peaceful property with a view of the lake and walking trails nearby. Everything was exactly as described in the description and photos. The host was very nice and quick to respond!

We had the most amazing host ever. Anytime there was a question, she responded immediately. Her home is a beautifully decorated log cabin in a great location to allow for day trips. It has amazing views including a telescope on the upper level, very comfortable beds and a fully equipped kitchen. I can think of nothing you might need during your stay that she hasn't provided. If I could give this Airbnb more than five stars, I WOULD.

My husband and I were looking for a peaceful and quiet place to relax, and the cabin was perfect. We relaxed while looking at the pond, the cows and the goat. It was wonderful to see the starts on a clear night. The cabin is extremely comfortable, and spacious. We only used the bedroom upstairs and the bed was super comfy. The kitchen is well equipped with everything that you need. The property uses well water so we bought some drinking water. We planned ahead and brought our groceries from home in Charlotte so we didn't have to go shopping, but there are grocery stores about 15 minutes away. We visited Pilot Mountain and Hanging Rock State Parks, both absolutely beautiful ad about 25 minutes away from the property. The property care taker Evon called to check in on us when we checked in and called the night before to see if we wanted a late check-out the day of our departure. We loved our stay in the cabin, and will surely return.

Bob and Candy were awesome hosts! Quick to respond with any questions, and are very friendly. One of the best hosts we have ever encountered. The place is beautiful and recommended to other guests. They have equipped the place with anything you would need. Would definitely return. 10/10

I cannot describe how beautiful this cabin and scenery truly were. It was such a wonderful relaxing weekend and we wanted for nothing. This cabin was perfectly described. I loved all of the details throughout. We will be back!

it was a beautiful place! the views are just amazing!! the house makes you feel at home. we tried fishing a few times, i think it might’ve just been too cold. the hot tub was a plus!! we brought board games & played while it was too cold to fish, but they have some there too! overall it was nice! they have everything you could possibly need for the kitchen, everything for the bathroom(towels, washcloths, toilet paper), tv in the room, and extra linens of course! you can’t beat the view!

This was my second time staying at Jeremy and Tina’s airbnb! And again, it did not disappoint! Their home is prime example of what an airbnb should be….clean, comfortable, as described, helpful and responsive hosts, not to mention just simply gorgeous and peaceful. I cannot say enough good things. If you want a relaxing airbnb with beautiful countryside, I highly recommend Jermey and Tina’s Airbnb!

This cabin was a perfect weekend getaway. It was pretty private and the trails and creek were lovely. The hot tub was nice to relax in and the location of the cabin made it easy to visit some local wineries. We hope to be back soon!
