This I’d or second stay here and will remain a place we choose when visiting Wasilla. Comfortable and roomy with a well stitched kitchen and lots of towels and blankets. The areas is braid and so quiet and peaceful. Daniel has always been so attentive and helpful. Very flexible and understanding when we’ve had to change our reservation. No hesitation in recommending this house!

Had guys out there for a job from Michigan, they enjoyed every bit of the stay from house to location. Very easy communication. Will be staying again!

Allisons place was so beautiful! Everything was clean and we felt right at home. We loved sitting by the fire and listening to the loons. We were visiting our son who is in the Air Force and it was so nice to spend a few days with him in the peace and quiet. We used the canoe and kayak to go fishing and our son caught a pike. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your beautiful place!

Fantastic view of the frozen lake from the deck! We thought winter there would be boring and covered with white snow, but we were wrong. The iced lake reflected beautiful blue shade when sunrise and sunset. It is Amazing! We enjoyed our entire time staying at the property. From the windows of open spaces living room and dining room and from the deck, we can see open beautiful lake view. The house is big, beautiful, open spaces and by the beautiful lake. Feeling of welcome when we first stepped in. The house is very clean. We had everything that we needed there. Owner provided quality materials to use. Host Rebekah is very nice. She responded to our questions within a short period of time. A plus that I would giving for this house is the water came from the refrigerator tasted better than most other the water bottled. We appreciated water source in AK vs. CA I wish I could stay there longer. Definitely will come back.

This beautiful house is only exceeded by the awesome lake and mountain view. 6 of us stayed here for a week and we're more than comfortable. The house has everything you need. Comfortable beds, plenty of linens, lots of pans, dishes, silverware and cooking utensils. There was plenty of staples too. I highly recommend renting this house you will not be disappointed.

This was a perfect ending to our trip. The house felt really homely and had something for everyone. We were able to relax, cook a nice meal, catch some trout in the lake and watch the Aurora from the hot tub. Idyllic.

The Chalet was very comfortable and cozy with all the amenities. The best part was the view of the lake and the surrounding mountains.

This was a perfect getaway place. Our first day was rainy, however we still enjoyed the comfortable space & watching the rain was peaceful. The next morning, fog was on the lake, which was so calm. A family of ducks came to say hello! Inside the cabin, there were all these thoughtful little touches like the lavender infuser, pillow spray, calming glow globe in the bathroom, plus top quality soaps, lotions, shampoo/conditioner & and body scrub—-I wasn’t expecting a mini spa treatment, so surprise bonus! My husband, who is a chef, was very impressed with the kitchen and I enjoyed my first experience cooking on an induction stove! We tried two local pizza places, but made all our other meals there and just enjoyed the peace and tranquility of the cabin & lake. We enjoyed tea, cocoa, cider & it was fun hearing the tea kettle whistle We could really relax: books were read, crocheting, water color painting, napping, dancing, and we meet the neighbor’s dog! We will return!

Our stay was wonderful! This place has so much room. We had 2 grandchildren (age 5 & 10) with us and they loved it also. Only issue we had was a complaint from people whom lived below. We respected the quiet hours from 10-10 everyday. We did not know 1 of them worked 2nd shift, and got woke up by the kids couple mornings? They were playing tag out on deck one time. We told them we were sorry and would try to respect their wishes. From then on we worried about being quiet. This place is very close to grocery stores, gas, Walmart, Fred Meyer’s, and restaurants. Wonderful place to stay and very convenient. There is a park 2 lots down which we went to and kids played and fed ducks. There is also a Church (Creekside Church) about 5 miles away, very nice Church and made us feel welcomed. The kids loved the Children’s Church also. This place had everything we needed. The view was spectacular.

Best experience in Alaska. If you have even clicked on this listing it is the place for you!!! From the fishing right off the dock for some decent size rainbows, to the clean comfortable cozy living area you will not find a better option! My son and I booked a two night stay at Shirley’s place towards the last 4 days of our vacation. As I hung up from her welcome call i immediately extended for the rest of my trip! The view from the bed is like it was painted there for you! The living space is like having an apartment next to the most amazing Alaskans you’ll ever meet. She even stocked the fridge for us with some breakfast fixins. Her husband Butch is fantastic! He shared tons of info about life in Alaska as my son and I intend on moving up here next summer to build our own place! From cooking us diners to inviting us to the state fair they made us feel so much like family we decided to pitch in on some lawn work with Butch!!! Forget looking for gold in Alaska this is a true DIAMOND!!!

The house was well taken care of and very nice to stay in. Every sunrise and sunset was picturesque. The lake was beautiful and refreshing. Loved the opportunity to step away from life at home and relax.

Loved our weekend in this lakeside cabin. It was perfectly cozy and the view from the lake can't be beat! Perfect for 2-4 people for a weekend getaway. We hope to stay again sometime!

This place was AMAZING. It was comfy & cozy not too far away from Anchorage but definitely secluded to make you feel like you were in Alaska. The lakes are amazing and the Mountain View’s. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful piece of Heaven … comfortable house, as described.. no words or pictures can. Describe the serenity of this place. We missed moose and bears, but the loons were amazing… like a scene from “on golden pond”. Thank you!

Lori was such a kind and thoughtful host! She went above and beyond to make me feel at home—she even shared her dinner with me, which was incredibly generous and made me feel so welcomed. Her hospitality and warmth truly made my stay special. I’d absolutely stay with her again and highly recommend her place to anyone looking for a cozy and friendly experience
