Brynja is incredibly communicative, helpful and just lovely! Her home is beautiful and the private hot tub was a real selling point for us. The bus to downtown was just outside and super convenient - I would recommend this apartment to anyone and everyone I know who travels to Reyjavik!

We stayed at Anna-Ellen apartment for 7 days. After daily trips to explore beauties of Iceland, we were getting back to the apartment with a pleasure. It very quickly got fill as home. The apartment is large, convenient and bright. It is well equipped for family stay, with all needed amenities. Anna-Ellen is very responsive and helpful host. Bottom line - we've really enjoyed our stay and thankful to great hospitality

My family and I had such an amazing time at the Ingunn House! The house is amazing! It’s huge and well stocked, catering for every need! Joi is an awesome host, extremely attentive, super helpful and very welcoming! He gave us a huge amount of help in order to maximise the little time we had there. My party had elderly people and the house and location caters for everyone! Thank you Joi for making it so memorable! We will definitely be coming back very soon and will happily recommend to any friends or family visiting Reykjavik!

The house was immaculate and the beds were super comfy. We loved the hot tub and cold plunge. It was an easy walk to the grocery store and the kitchen had everything needed. Thanks Sigurdur!

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit auf Island. Von der Unterkunft hat man viele Möglichkeiten etwas zu unternehmen. Aktiv in der Natur und man ist schnell in der Stadt. Trotz der Kälte war es im Haus immer schön warm und gemütlich. Unsere Kinder haben das weiche Sofa und den Wirlpool sehr geliebt.

Sigurdur was an excellent host. His home was beautiful, very clean and we enjoyed the sauna and hot tub immensely. The house was well stocked and very comfortable. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed Iceland. An amazing country and people. Hroar’s and Diana’s house was perfect. It had all the amenities you could want. The home is perfectly clean, ultra-modern and in a quiet neighborhood. There is parking for 2 cars in the driveway, if you have a the need for that. There is a private deck, a Weber grill ( on a separate porch off the living room) and the hot tub on the deck was large and running anytime you wanted to use it. The kitchen is fully equipped and very organized. There is a half bath upstairs and a huge full bath downstairs with a great shower. The beds are comfortable and the washing machine and dryer are new and are easy to work. The home is 50 minutes from the Keflavik airport and 10 to 15 minutes to Reykjavík town center. Driving is easy in Iceland. There are 2 big flat screen TV’s, too. Diana met us to go through the home and answer any questions. There is a cat Leko, who was quiet and friendly. He was fun to have around. He had his own entrance/exit into the house. If the cat is bothersome to anyone, Diana said she could put him with someone else while we were there, but Leko was fine. Hroar was very responsive if we had any questions. We highly recommend this home for rental.

If you are looking for a comfortable, affordable stay in Reykjavik, this is the place for you. Great amenities including a large back yard, large living space with a Smart TV and playstation, and a fireplace. Kitchen with everything needed to cook for yourself and avoid the pricey Reykjavik Restaurant scene. Located on a quiet street with easy access to the highway (rental car recommended for sure).

L'alloggio di Nina è molto bello. Gli spazi sono ampi e luminosi con una bellissima vista sulla città e il mare. Il centro città si raggiunge a piedi facilmente e vicino ci sono vari supermercati. L'arredamento ha gusto e personalità e ci si sente come a casa. Letti comodi, bagno pulito e funzionale. La cucina è abbastanza completa, anche se manca qualche posata e piatti aggiuntivi. Ci sono vari elettrodomestici e caffettiere per preparare vari tipi di caffè. Il divano del soggiorno è comodo e rilassante. Spazi perfetti per quattro persone. Nina è sempre stata reattiva e disponibile. Grazie!

Waren nun zum zweiten Mal in der Unterkunft. Schön ruhig und abgelegen und dennoch sind Selfoss und oder touristische Ziele schnell zu erreichen. Selfoss und der Krater Kerið in ca 15 Minuten und der Nationalpark Þingvellir in 40 Minuten. Ideale Ferienwohnung für 2 Personen die im Urlaub abschalten wollen. Auch der Kontakt mit Steinunn ist schnell und unkompliziert. Nächster Urlaub ist schon in der Planung.

Asta was so helpful with local recommendations, and her house was clean welcoming. We had everything we needed right at our fingertips. The sauna and hot tub were great for relaxing. The location was perfectly central for exploring the Reykjavik peninsula.

Wir waren wirklich begeistert von dem toll eingerichteten Haus. Mit Center-Küche und Hot-Tub sowie sehr geschmackvoll eingerichteten Schlaf und Wohnzimmern. Hier kann man gut verweilen und von hier aus hervorragend das Stadtgebiet sowie Sehenswürdigkeiten des Umlandes erreichen, wenn man ein Auto hat… Wir werden hier sicher nicht das letzte Mal gewesen sein…😄🇮🇸

Rakel’s home is like staying at a family member’s home while they are away! So warm and welcoming, and such a great environment for kids. So many cool toys for a kid to play with and very sweet guest rooms safe and comfortable for adults traveling with kids. Her home his warm, modern, clean, efficient and so close to Iceland’s many day trip attractions, and extremely close to Reykjavik! The neighborhood is quiet, and ideal. You can walk to the grocery store, a fast food restaurant and a great pizza parlor called Flaties! Worth the price. The space is magnificent. Washer dryer great, TV channels and streaming provided, and of course the hot tub! I would stay there again, and hope to visit their beautiful Iceland for a longer period soon! Rakel was gracious to let us use their city stroller too, which was immensely helpful! Loved our stay at their lovely home!-Jennifer

Das Appartement war sehr schön und gemütlich. Wir fühlten uns vor beginn an wie zu Hause und genossen die Ruhe auf dem Land sehr. Tolle Lage für Ausflüge zum Golden Circle und weitere Orte. Würde sofort wieder buchen.

Great place with lovely views

Burma’s beautiful home is ideal for anyone who wants two bathrooms (hard to find in Iceland) and plenty of space. It’s in a quaint small town very close to the Golden Circle and not far from Selfoss, which has more substantial amenities. Easy drive to Gullfoss and Geysir, and a small grocery is within walking distance of the house. The views from the sunroom are beautiful. The kitchen is modern, functional, and spacious. The outdoor area, including the hot tub, is wonderful in the evening. The nearby restaurants, including those in Reykholt, are wonderful! We highly recommend this place for people who want extra space and don’t want to stay in the busy capital city. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

Helena was warm, friendly and extremely helpful before we arrived and her house was simply wonderful. Clean, tidy, plenty of space and every bit as welcoming as Helena. The house felt really authentic and was a perfect base from which to explore this amazing country. We felt very much at home during our stay and we loved looking after Freyja (the cat). Helena left clear instructions as to how to navigate the house as well as lovely ideas for excursions. She contacted us ahead of our visit to send us information and replied to any of our queries straight away. We loved our time in Iceland and amongst all of our highlights of places we visited, returning home to Helena's house each evening was absolutely one of them. A very beautiful home and we feel lucky to have found such a gorgeous place to stay. Tim and Claire xx

Edda's place was wonderful!It's location is perfect as it is about 15' walk away from the center and the parking is free and easy if you follow her instructions. Everything was clean and tidy, and Edda herself was friendly and very responsive to all our questions!Highly recommended!Thanks for everything!

Sigurdur's place is an ideal location. A quick drive into the city (15 minutes), a lovely walking path, and quiet. The unit was clean, had everything we needed and private. He was very responsive to questions and met us outside as soon as we arrived.

Inga was a wonderful host! She met us outside offered to help with our bags. Suggested restaurants in the area and also a spot to hopefully catch the northern lights! Her place was clean and welcoming! Bed was extremely comfortable! Cute neighborhood too!
