Wir haben uns sofort in der Villa am Fluß wohlgefühlt. Die Lage ist ideal um die Attraktionen des Golden Circle zu besichtigen. Die Lage am Fluss und der Ausblick sind traumhaft, auf jeden zu empfehlen.

Perfect accommodation for our week in Iceland. Hveragerdi is on the golden circle, not far from the airport or Reykjavik. Most other places of interest can be reached easily in a day. Hveragerdi has all you need, including shops, fuel, hot springs, geyser, hot river walk and swim location, great swimming pool and loads of nice walking. This meant we didn't have to drive every day, nice when the weather wasn't the best (we came in late March - everything from sunshine to blizzards). House was warm and welcoming, fully equipped for our stay and located in a quiet street. Alistair was the perfect host and offered several tips on getting the best from our time. In fact all the locals we met were very friendly and happy to answer our questions. Highly recommended and just what we were looking for.

Nice, spacious house matching perfectly matching the description and photos. Worked perfectly for four adults and four kids. Football pitch and playground by the school just a few metres from the house. And a trampoline in the garden. Easy and quick communication with David. Thanks for a great stay!

The house was spacious but still cosy. The TV and sound system was an unexpected treat. Kitchen was well stocked so we made a couple of meals at home. There was a dining room but we didn’t make too much use of it. Bedrooms were all lovely, bathrooms and showers were excellent - all in all a real treat.

This AirBnB was perfect for our family of 6! We all had our own bedrooms (2 couples, 2 singles) and enough common area to spread out, if we wanted. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals and Inga even left a welcome basket of snacks and breakfast items! The place also has a washer & dryer, which we used after swimming, twice! The heated floors were a God-send during the December cold. We had an electrical issue and they promptly got an electrician out to fix it. Worked perfectly after that! The location is at the end of a street in a quiet neighborhood. There is a walking trail close by but we never used it because we visited in December and it was too cold for us. Other amenities are available at the house, like a hot tub and outdoor living area, but we did not use those because of the cold weather. They look like a wonderful addition for a warmer-weather visit. I highly recommend this location and the wonderful hosts!!

Great place for a family with small kids. Spacious and in a quiet neighborhood. Kids enjoyed the trampoline and other toys. Host was flexible with check in and efficient/accommodating even though previous guests checked out a bit late.

Andrea is such a wonderful host! She was very communicative and provided wonderful snacks, including a home made cake! Her home is absolutely gorgeous; all new construction with a modern look! The hot tub was great, and she had it nice and warm when we arrived. It's a great location if you are staying in Selfoss or if you are heading south. Our only regret is that we only had one night to stay there!

Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment sehr wohl gefühlt. Sigurdur hat sich mehrmals erkundigt ob bei uns alles in Ordnung wäre, das war sehr freundlich. Wir konnten vom Haus aus am Fluss entlang wandern und in den Ort zu Fuss gehen. Alles war perfekt.

Brilliant stay at a lovely apartment. Host really friendly & attentive. Good facilities, well stocked, home from home style approach. Comfortable beds. Location 10 minutes walk from the centre. Quiet & safe suburb. Good local facilities. Excellent local Chinese restaurant Fine nearby also worth a visit.

I recommend Björg's flat in Reykjavik. It has everything you need for cooking; at least three supermarkets are really close by. Everything in Reykjavik is reachable in under an hour by foot. This is a perfect origin for your explorations and also a perfect destination for relaxing after a longer trip. I would definitely choose the accommodation again.

Our family of 5 stayed at Svavar’s apartment over New Years. It was a great location - walkable to restaurants and shops. The apartment itself was clean, spacious yet cozy and beautifully decorated - with a Christmas tree and lots of Christmas lights which made it feel festive. There were plenty of closet/drawer space for our belongings. We also appreciated the off-street parking. Svavar was a great host - always responsive and offering helpful suggestions. We cannot wait to return!

Margret's place was very spacious and clean. It is in a very convenient location as it is very close to the city and grocery stores. Overall, very cozy and clean —would recommend!

Apartamento muy amplio y cómodo. Baño enorme. Cocina bien y muchos utensilios de cocina. Limpieza regular, necesita algo de limpieza en profundidad.

It was a lovely place with awesome amenities. Google maps took us to a different address for some reason, but the description in the Airbnb listing led us in the right direction. The host family was very friendly with a cute dog! Definitely recommend this spot.

Great location with so much to do within driving distance. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The cabin was so cozy and calm with beautiful surroundings. We saw the northern lights, the glow of a volcano and the children had a lot of fun on the zip line.

We loved staying here! The location is perfect, the setting idyllic, and the laundry is an added bonus! Thank you for everything

La cabaña de Kristinn ha sido sin duda alguna una de las perlas de nuestro viaje a Islandia. Una zona con mucha privacidad y en medio de la naturaleza, cerca de varios puntos de interés y de la ciudad de Selfoss. Lo hemos pasado en grande, habiendo ido con un bebé de 15 meses todo ha sido perfecto. Inolvidable la sensación de estar en nuestro jacuzzi mientras nevaba, repetiremos sin duda.

This is a beautiful house in a serene location. Hjalmar is a great host. Welcome drinks on our arrival made us feel we were in for a special stay. Highly recommended this place. All the things you need for a great stay. Remember to bring food to BBQ or roast. The nearest supermarket is 30 minutes away. If you are looking for that special getaway, this is it!

Unnar’s house was a great place to stay as we were going around the Golden Circle, good home base for day trips to Gullfoss with several good restaurants within 15min (Fridheimar, etc). The cabin is cozy and clean and we appreciated having a washer/dryer that we could use (just a note that the drying time is a little long, about 4 hours if I recall correctly, so just plan accordingly). Unfortunately it was quite rainy during our stay so we didn’t end up using the hot tub nor did we see northern lights but we enjoyed our stay nonetheless.

We had such an amazing time at the cabin. Once in a lifetime stay, would highly recommend. Beautiful setting, very warm interior, amazing decor, all the amenities you'd need, and so close to lots of attractions.

Sígrun’s place was exactly what we were looking for! We had the best welcome ever being greeted by the northern lights. The house is well equipped with everything you need. From kitchen appliances to toiletries. And the hot tub outside, is an excellent place to relax. Location is perfect. Very nice and quiet and also close to all the main attractions of the golden circle. Our farewell was also memorable with northern lights dancing for us! Some places we’d like to recommend: Sky Lagoon, Thingvellir National park (20 min drive from the house, bring good shoes, can be very slippery). Tryggvaskali restaurant, Messinn restaurant, Silfra restaurant. And of course all the other attractions around the golden circle. Thank you, Sigrún, hope to be back soon!

We loved this cozy cabin! It is so lovely, we felt immediately at home. Everything you need is there and it is spotlessly clean. The surroundings are wonderful and private and still every golden circle attraction is super close. We also loved the walk at the nearby waterfall, enjoyed the Laugarvatn Fontana, and had a very tasty lunch at the farm next door. It was great coming ‘home’ to the cabin every day, it just suited us perfectly. The jacuzzi is a big bonus! And we were able to see the Aurora very clearly in multiple parts of the sky on our second evening. Magical! Thank you Arnar for being a wonderful host and reacting very fast on our questions. Would highly recommend and would love to come back some day.
