We stayed in July 2024. Anastasios and his sister Marilena could not have been more helpful. They both met us on arrival, showed us round and made us very welcome. The property itself is quite new. It is an exceptional villa, beautifully designed, with a fantastic pool, good AC and a reasonable view of the sea. Along with two other related properties, it is gated and secure. There is a great outdoor eating area by the pool, a BBQ and an outdoor kitchen. On arrival, we were provided with a starter pack of local food and drink, which was very welcome. The interior is well thought out and comfortable with good wifi and Netflix thrown in. We thoroughly recommend this property!

We were family of 6 people, 5 nights in this beautiful villa, clean and cozy, with the swimming pool and a few minutes drive from the airport. Weather was a little cold for sitting around the pool, but still great for the views of the sea. After 3 days they come to clean the villa and change linens. The communication with Gjon was very good and agreed to let us stay until 14:00. We enjoyed our stay and recommend! Thank you for hosting us!

Villa Seva was everything we look for in a villa for two. The location is stunning, perched on a hillside, with no overlooking buildings and a stunning pool. Beautiful sea view and total privacy. Nansy lives in the house behind with her family, and was always only a text away if we needed her. But left us to ourselves during our stay. The villa looks great in the photos - but in reality its even better. It's one of the most stunning little villas we've ever stayed in and we'll be booking it again next year, we hope. Nansy's family also owns a local restaurant Madrakia where we ate the first night - and another two nights - as it was just perfect. There are also some other fantastic restaurants Nansy recommended. We loved The Old Windmill. There's a number of nearby beaches, all of them beautiful. Kremidi beach, about a 5 minute drive was particularly beautiful. Not much to do in Agios Nikolaos, it's a very small place. But that wasn't a problem for us. We loved our stay at the villa.

A beautiful home in a stunning peaceful village. Panagiotis was a welcoming and attentive host and the cottage had everything we could have needed and more. The garden was particularly beautiful with orange trees and two lovely tortoises that kept us company!!

Villa Christina was amazing and a really good find. Location within 5mins to the beautiful port of Sami and a central location to the rest of the island. The villa was beautiful, just as described, very clean and decorated nicely, lovely pool and outside bbq within well looked after grounds. Lots of space for 4 adults and 2 children Christina was a great host and we would love to visit again

Thoroughly enjoyed staying here, absolutely stunning apartment! The views are incredible, there’s a nice beach close by, and people are friendly. Gerasimos was a lovely host, always quick to respond. Thank you again!

This remote villa feels like your own private paradise. Perched above the sea, the beautiful view & property instantly makes you feel you’re somewhere special. Having already spent a week exploring Kefalonia, we were happy to enjoy quiet days by the amazing infinity pool watching the boats sail by and soaking in the tranquility. The grounds surround you with nature and the birds, sheep bells & sound of the sea is perfect background music. The sunrises were magical and the best way to start each day. A short drive to the quiet town of Poros offers you pretty sea views, incredibly clear blue water and a good selection of tavernas and cafes. The villa itself is spacious and comfortable. There is lots of shade & seating outside to optimize enjoyment of the surrounding beauty. Unfortunately the overgrown gardens around the upper patio slightly obstructed the view but the view from the pool made up for that! If you are looking to relax in a peaceful & stunning setting then look no further!

Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Die Lage der Wohnung mit Blick auf das Meer ist perfekt. Von hier aus kann man sehr gut in alle Richtungen los starten um die wunderschönen Strände zu erkunden. Die Wohnung bietet wirklich alles was man für einen Urlaub benötigt. Die Einrichtung ist hochwertig und liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Terasse bietet auch die Möglichkeit eine Sporteinheit durchzuführen. Sehr zu empfehlen ist eine Yoga Session am Morgen mit Meditation, dazu gibt es vor Ort auch Yogamatten. Die beiden Gastgeber sind absolut herzlich und wir wurden behandelt wie deren Kinder !!! Wir kommen wieder.

We cant say enough about our stay at Maria and Nausika’s. The house was a little oasis. The house was clean and so welcoming inside, the garden was beautiful, and every detail was so clearly thought out. Even the signage to find the house from the street was clear and helpful. Our hosts were communicative, helpful, and left notes on local recommendations. We would strongly recommend and would love to stay again if we are in Kefalonia!

This was our first stay in Ithaka, having previously visited on day trips from Kefalonia. We chose Vathy because of its convenience; many tavernas bars and shopping facilities, and a great base exploring the whole island. Henry's house is one of only a few in Vathy with a pool, but it is also only 5 or 10 minutes drive from several delightful coves and beaches. Being right in the centre of Vathy you feel like part of the community, but the house and gardens are also quite private. In October there is an endless supply of lemons from the garden 🍹. The villa is charming and welcoming. Henry is a very welcoming, responsive, and attentive host.

Beautiful house, stunning view, spotlessly clean and charming host. We arrived out of season and she worried we wouldn’t find a restaurant open easily. When we got there we were greeted with an enormous tray of homemade pastitsio which was incredible. A fabulous stay. Thank you so much

Amazing accomodation overall. The most wonderfull seaview from almost every window. Everything is better than the photos, super clean and spacious, with attention to every bit of detail to make you feel welcomed . The hosts super kind, fast responsive and very helpful. The location is easy to find with some very good instructions. Close to many beautifull beaches and main roads. I highly reccomend this accomodation, its truly a gem on the Island!

Stayed here for 4 nights in April 25. Great communications with our host who met us on arrival and was quick to respond to messages. The apartment was spotlessly clean and attractively decorated. Well equipped kitchen. Effective heating/air con. The huge bed was comfortable and we slept well, although optional extra bedding would have been appreciated as the nights were quite cool. The pullout sofa bed was also comfortable for our 16yo. The shower is absolutely fabulous. The location is great, just a scenic 10 minute walk into Agia Effimia, or a 15 minute drive down to Sami, with some lovely beaches dotted around. The views from the apartment are stunning and the patio catches the sun through till mid afternoon, so perfect for peaceful relaxation. Recommend and would return.

What can we say other than fantastic. The villa was perfect and had everything we really needed for a family of 5. The outside space was lovely with views out to the sea and mountains which were stunning. There are gorgeous beaches and places to eat well within walking distance. The Villa, located in Spartia is in a great location to tour the island, although we did not have to travel to far to enjoy Kefalonia as there was plenty on our doorstep, which meant we could relax and the kids just loved snorkling and swimming in the calm local waters. Lena was very accomodating and helpful, dealing with any mesaages / queries very quickly and was also able to accomodate us arriving earlier than the usual check in time, which was really helpful after a very early start that day. The housekeeper Sandra was excellent, and also very helpful sharing lots of local knowledge. We would highly recommend and hope to see Lena and Sandra again in the near future.

Wonderful and peaceful place. It was clean and tidy. Zicos was very kind to us, leaving some welcoming fruit and helping with tips for beaches, villages and the necessary hot-spots to enjoy Ithaki. Sunrises and sunsets in the terrace looking at Cefalonia were overwhelming and made us stay at the place more than we thought. We’ll repeat for sure.

We had an amazing stay at Akis & Eleni's property. It was presented exactly as it was in the pictures and perfect for our family vacation. It's a private property, so very peaceful, with an amazing pool, outside area and sun loungers. Just a very short walk out the back of the garden and you are on a lovely (very unique) beach. There is a great beach bar if you turn left, and a short walk around (through the water) some rocky outcrops (or via some steps to avoid the water), a larger selection of beachside bars and restaurants, and water activities. You'll need a car for the supermarket and exploring the rest of the island, but it was the perfect bolthole for us for a week. Akis & Eleni were excellent hosts, and very easy to contact to provide you with the peace of mind you need on a family trip. Would highly recommend this to one family or two!

Πολύ όμορφο και φιλόξενο σπίτι σε πολύ καλή τοποθεσία, με έξτρα ανέσεις (πλυντήριο πιάτων, πλυντήριο ρούχων) και υπέροχη θέα στη θάλασσα από το σπίτι και από την βεράντα. Ιδανικό για χαλάρωση, σε ήσυχη περιοχή, πολύ κοντά σε υπέροχες παραλίες. Το προτείνω ανεπιφύλακτα!

Ho appena trascorso due settimaneindimenticabile in questo splendido appartamento in Cefalonia e non posso che lasciare una recensione super positiva! La posizione è semplicemente perfetta a due passi dal mare. La casa è accogliente, pulitissima e dotata di tutti i comfort necessari per un soggiorno rilassante. Ma la vera ciliegina sulla torta è stata l'ospitalità della Host. È stata estremamente gentile e disponibile, facendoci sentire come a casa fin dal primo momento. Ha fornito ottimi consigli su ristoranti e luoghi da visitare, e si è assicurata che non ci mancasse mai nulla. Se state cercando un posto per rilassarvi e godervi la bellezza del mare greco, questo appartamento è la scelta perfetta! Lo raccomando senza alcuna esitazione e spero di poter tornare presto.

Pros: This family is filled with the spirit of hospitality. Particularly enjoyed my interactions with George's mom, Pros: Angela. Sweet lady! Brought me a delicious huge slice of homemade spanakopita and fresh eggs. I also brought back some of Papa Andrea's homemade wine. Enjoyed my stay so much that I booked an extra night. Loved the central location, beautiful village tucked in a valley surrounded by mountains. Felt like I got a taste of the real Kefalonia! Cons: Wifi went in and out my entire stay and smart tv did not work. With that being said, I recommend the place and would stay there again. Thank you George and family!

Everything about Cottage by the Sea is special, from Kia (the owner) to the location, the surroundings, the house, neighbours - EVERYTHING! The house is perfect. Beautifully decorated, lacking nothing. The aircons were a saving grace! The beach is on your doorstep. And Atheras beach is simply stunning, hugged between two hills and the landmark rocky island in the middle of the entrance to the bay. We had 4 blissful weeks in Kia's house as a family of 5. The sea, sun and peace did wonders for our wellbeing. Really enjoyed the lemons and grapes from the garden. Oh, and the goats! Ethos, Pathos and Logos visited almost everyday (destroying Kia's beautiful Delicious Monsters, no less) but they were a special feature and lingers in our memories. A special mention to Makis, who took us out on his fishing boat for a day to other beaches close by. Kia is a warm, efficient host, non-intrusive and yet anticipating every need of her guests. Highly recommend!! We'll come again.

Περάσαμε μια υπέροχη εβδομάδα στην Ιθάκη. Το Olive Grove ήταν ένα πολύ όμορφο σπίτι, με υπέροχη θέα, πολύ κοντά στο Βαθύ και σε πολύ ήσυχο σημείο. Το σπίτι είχε ό,τι χρειαζόταν για μια άνετη διαμονή και ο οικοδεσπότης ήταν ευγενέστατος και πολύ βοηθητικός. Μας υποδέχτηκε ο κ. Κώστας, πατέρας του Jerry, και μας έκανε να νιώσουμε από την αρχή σαν στο σπίτι μας. Μάλιστα, μας είχε στο ψυγείο κρύο νερό, κρασί αλλά και τα βασικά για ένα πρωινό. Το μόνο θέμα που υπάρχει είναι οι πολλές σκάλες από το parking ως το σπίτι, αλλά όλα τα άλλα σε αποζημιώνουν πλήρως! Το νησί υπέροχο! Συστήνεται ανεπιφύλακτα!

Sama kuća je veoma prostrana i dovoljna za 5-6 osoba, pošto je nas bilo 4, bilo je više nego dovoljno mesta za sve. Selo Spartia je mirno i na lokaciji koja je odlična za obilazak svih plaža na južnoj strani ostrva i do velike većine plaža se stiže za manje od 20 minuta. Samo ostrvo ne vredi poseiti ako nemate svoje volzilo jer nećete osestiti punu čar ostrva sa svojim divljim plažama. Kuća je udaljena od glavnog grada tačno deset minuta i lako se stiže. Jedini problem na celom ostrvu su putevi koji su isprepletani i teški za pamćenje. Sam smeštaj vredi plaćenog novca, domaćini su bili dostupni i lokacija je po našem mišljenju odlična. Ostrvo je prelepo i sa najvaćim brojem lepih malih plaža kako lako dostupnih tako teže dostupnih. Na Kefaloniju ćemo se opet vratiti jer se ona može obići i doživeti u potpunosti samo iz tri puta. Svakome preporučujemo da obiđe ovaj raj na zemlji. Hvala domaćinima! Bio je jedan prelep odmor!
