This was our fourth time staying at Blue Heron Inn and as always the place was wonderful! We absolutely love this “no frills” inn. It offers all the peace and quiet you could want, and the location is absolutely perfect if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of the touristy parts of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park (entrance is only a few miles away). The inn sits right above the Little River and there’s plenty of outdoor seating to sit and watch the river babble and forget about the world. Our room was clean and had all the amenities you need in a hotel-type room (towels, Keurig, clean linens). There is also some amazing breakfast provided at the Towns End Coffee Shop on-premises (perhaps my favorite part). This trip we had some really bad weather (high winds and tornado warnings). Our host messaged us to let us know it was coming and offered assistance to us in the event of an emergency. It was greatly appreciated! We already can’t wait for our fifth stay!

We stayed at The Blue Heron for our anniversary. It is a quaint little space. It’s very welcoming. We really enjoyed the creek behind The Blue Heron. It is very peaceful. The free coffee for breakfast was a great plus.

Our one-night stay at the Blue Heron was great. The host was proactive with communication and patient with us as our responses were delayed due to lack of cell service. The building sits in a beautiful location along the river and is very convenient to all the restaurants and shops in Townsend. We look forward to staying at the Blue Heron again the next time we are in the area.

We came here for a stay, after horseback riding with Nicole in November, because we fell in love with the farm and the peacefulness. The farm is beautiful and the perfect place to get away. The octagon room was perfect for the two of us and the views are beautiful! The deck was great for relaxing and looking at the mountains. If you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge but close enough to visit, this is the place for you! Totally recommend!!

Something that was unclear was that our unit was named “Cabin”. We figured there would be a unit number but upon further review determined that our unit was actually named “Cabin” and the name was on the doormat in the front entrance. Not what we were expecting but figured it out. Otherwise loved our stay. Simple and clean. Thanks!

I loved my stay here and hope to be able to get back during the summer some time. It pretty much rained the whole time we were there, and I would love to get back to get good use out of the beautiful deck. We stayed in the Buffalo room upstairs and had all kinds of room. The bathroom was also roomy and kept well stocked. BUT...the food!! Oh my the food was fabulous. If you stay, whatever you do, do no skip breakfast. It was delish! Amy and her family were super respectful of our privacy, but also available for questions, recommendations or a nice chat.

I had an amazing stay at Amy's place "ZEN" on the picturesque farm! The location is absolutely stunning, with beautiful scenery all around. The farm itself is wonderful, providing a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The RV trailer that has been transformed into a cozy home is fantastic. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay, and the thoughtful touches made it feel even more special. The space is well-designed, making the most out of every corner. One of the highlights of my stay was the delicious breakfasts. They were delightful and provided a great start to the day. Amy's hospitality truly made a difference, making me feel welcome and cared for throughout my visit. I highly recommend Amy's place "ZEN" for anyone looking for a unique and serene getaway. It’s perfect for those who want to unwind and enjoy nature while still having all the comforts of home.

Friendly host, luxury linens, and the most beautiful surroundings!! This place was awesome. My husband and I arrived late on Christmas night around 9pm. I mentioned to TJ how we weren’t able to find anywhere open to eat (because of Christmas) and TJ (the innkeeper) ended up making us 2 turkey sandwiches for dinner!! Talk about hospitality. We stayed in the Riverside Suite and the linens were AMAZING. I was not expecting that but the sheets were ultra soft as well as the towels and the mattress was so comfy. Literally checked the brand to buy the towels for my house. The hot tub is the perfect way to relax after hiking all day and our pup enjoyed every minute. I was grateful to get to chat with TJ and the story behind the inn and how he has put his heart in soul into that place. You can feel that spirit and love throughout the whole property. We will definitely be back!!
