Was a great place to spend the night... all of the rooms and furniture were great. Loved it...

There really are no words to describe how much we enjoyed our stay. For our family of 6, and our 2 doggies, we were looking for a large space in a beautiful and peaceful setting to enjoy the holidays together. We are all so busy and run in different directions, and we thought this would be a great way to have a captive Christmas for everyone to enjoy time together! We were right! The owner has the house decorated perfectly for Christmas, and the basement level was perfect for our 3 grown boys to play video games and bond together! Grandma enjoyed the large tv with the giant window overlooking the mountain and lake - and mom & dad (us) enjoyed the master bedroom & bath with a balcony overlooking the mountain and lake. It was perfect, like Switzerland, but only 2 hours from home! We have treasured memories of our trip!

We were in town for a wedding and couldn’t have booked a better place to stay! It was exactly (if not better) than what we were expecting. It had everything we needed to be comfortable + great views + very close to Asheville! Highly recommend.

Phenomenal stay! This was easily the best Airbnb experience I have ever had. The place was beautiful and so well designed. All of the notes were extremely thorough and Adria was super communicative and so helpful. Cannot wait to return one day!

I can’t say enough about this house! Perfect location, two story with lots of room, everything you need to make you feel right at home. It’s close to shopping and the highway. Super quiet family oriented neighborhood, private. Nice big porch to sit on in front of the house. Big tv in the living room. Katie was super helpful with my booking, answering questions and just going above n beyond to accommodate me. Would highly recommend this place!

Our extended family of 13 had a peaceful, relaxing, and wonderful stay! The pictures don't do the house/cabin and surrounding property justice. The rope swing, swing, and tire swing were a huge hit with the kids - they were addicted to the rope swing! (Even the teens managed to break away from their tech and play on the creek!) The towels to use for the creek were a nice touch. This location made it really easy to get to Asheville, Black Mountain, and Brevard. It was unanimous that all of us would love to return! It was a much needed retreat and respite for all of us!

We had a wonderful stay. The place was exactly as described, the hot tub was very relaxing, and the surroundings were peaceful and private. The house had everything we needed, we even extended the stay an extra day because we loved it.

Awesome home! Close to downtown Black Mountain. Big backyard for your doggos and a hot tub for relaxing. The host responds quickly. This was our 2nd visit. We will be back.

Me and my friend visited for my birthday and this listing was perfect! The bed was amazing, the space was very nice and clean, and the location was perfect for our activities! Very quiet and comfortable :) My only regret was not coming while the garden was in bloom! Will definitely be back to stay again and see it in it’s full glory though.

Our stay at "Tranquility in the Mountains", was very tranquil. It was quite dark when we arrived Saturday morning. The driveway and entry were well lit. We entered the code on the keyless entry and were in with no problem! The unit was very tastefully decorated, fresh, and clean with a well stocked kitchen, bathroom and super comfy bed! All of the amenities of home. Kelly and family live above the unit, so we would hear movement at times, but this was never intrusive or a bother at all! I highly recommend booking with Kelly, and would like to visit the Asheville area again. I wish we had more time to chill in the mountains and explore this interesting city. Thanks for your hospitality Kelly. The welcome basket was a nice touch!

Very nice accommodations in a wonderful setting. Tough to beat value! We were very satisfied, and would return in a heartbeat for our next visit to the Leicester area.

My husband & I stayed at Emilie’s place and found it to be comfortable, clean, and convenient for exploring Asheville. Communication with Emilie was great. From start to finish, our stay was wonderful! I definitely recommend.

Exquisite furnishings, comfort and quality of linens and bedding. A wall of windows looking out to gorgeous forest and sunset views. Walking distance to Grovepark Inn providing exercise, shopping and dining accommodations within steps of the woodland basement apartment.The fireplace in winter and outdoor patio in summer are lovely. Bear sightings are assured! Owners are nearby if needed but non intrusive. Quiet location. Best Airbnb in all our travels and definitely best place in Asheville. Appreciated the full-sized refrigerator, dishwaher, microwave and toaster oven for light cooking.

The place combines cozy charm with peaceful serenity: the perfect place to unwind and recharge. The peaceful surroundings are unmatched, looking out over gentle rolling green pastures, listening to the gentle grazing of animals and the chorus of melodious birds. One bird in particular every morning came to visit up close just a few feet away - a tufted titmouse. The apartment is spotless, one of the cleanest AirBNB’s we’ve stayed in. It has everything you would need for a satisfying stay. It is tastefully and charmingly decorated with care and thought. It is the perfect place for a couple. The electric fireplace made it feel cozy and the bright kitchen made it feel open & spacious. I enjoyed sitting outside every day, soaking up the peace & watching the comical antics of the two calves and the donkey next door while listening to the plethora of birdsongs. Leslie is an amazing host, very responsive, excellent communication, and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable.

Kaitlin’s place was perfect for a weekend trip to Asheville! The apartment was a peaceful and cozy space with everything you need. I would highly recommend it for your future Asheville travels!

The home was gorgeous in a beautiful location with easy access to town. Unfortunately, Hurricane Helene hit while we were there, so we had to evacuate. Asheville was devastated by this storm, so we lost power, water, cell service, and had to contend with many downed trees and power lines to evacuate. Lucas was very responsive and concerned about our well-being. Once able to receive texts, he had been routinely trying to check in with us to make sure we were okay. Although the beautiful mountain road was severely impacted, most of this house was spared, except the garage roof and driveway entrance and exit. I pray for an eventual return to normalcy for Asheville its wonderful people, Western NC, Eastern TN, and upstate SC. As for Lucas’s place, this would have been the perfect home and location for a vacation rental had this once in a 1000 year storm been a factor. It was well stocked with everything we needed, including a propane generator.

We recently stayed at Christina’s home for a joint 50th birthday weekend. It was the perfect home. Spacious, clean, minutes from downtown, and surrounded by beauty outside every window. Christina could not have been more responsive and accommodating to make our special weekend memorable. Highly recommend for your next stay in Asheville!!

Highly recommend this place! We rented it for a bridal/bachelorette party weekend for five women, and it was marvelous! Early instructions about check in were informative. We lived in the hot tub. When there was an issue on Friday evening, we contacted the host who responded within the hour. Kitchen worked great for our personal French cooking lesson. We had a blast playing pool downstairs. And oh how the beds were comfortable, with great sheets to boot! Great views out the living room and kitchen to enjoy your morning coffee. What a great place!

Eric was a wonderful host. Directions were very clear and understanding. Although the thermostat is split , Eric was very understanding an adjusted as needed. Great location and get away spot for couples. Very quiet and secured . We will definitely come back!

I had an amazing stay at Casey’s place! The home was spotless, well-equipped, and exactly as described. The location was perfect—peaceful and scenic, with beautiful views of Lake Lure. The bed was super comfortable, and I appreciated the thoughtful decor and extra amenities. Casey was a fantastic host—quick to respond, friendly, and made check-in a breeze. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great stay in Lake Lure!

We loved our stay. We loved contributing to the economy in the recovery efforts of your charming city. Home met all of our needs. Very well appointed and comfortable. Easy to find. Lot of great things to do today close by.

We celebrated our family Christmas together - the house included all we could need for cooking and even had holiday dinnerware…it was spacious and the separate lower level quarters was perfect for my son and his family for when the kids needed to be in bed earlier or for my DIL who at times needed to get away from all of us for solitude. The big open kitchen on the main level was great and the dining table fit all of us for sit down dinners and for playing games in the evenings. We loved that we didn’t have to worry about purchasing spices, oils, paper products - all was there for us to use. The view of the lake was serene. The house was also decorated with outdoor lights for the holiday and even had a Christmas tree on the back screened in Deck. Hoping to make this our annual get together with my kids who all live in different states. In other words, we will definitely rent this house again. Wonderful and easy communication as well!

Veronica’s house was absolutely perfect for a large group get away. The views of the mountains from the house were gorgeous, the fire pit out back and the huge back deck was great for spending the evening at the house instead of even having to go out anywhere. The beds are super comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed plus more. It’s also less than 15 min from downtown Asheville! Veronica is very responsive and even had me call her when I got there to give me instructions on everything in the house. I will be back!
