Loved this homely comfortable unit. Well maintained and clean. The balcony offered ever changing views of the Derwent. The below beach was an added bonus. Good location, close to casino, coffee and shops. Looking forward to going back.

Having that beautiful bay at the front door really was spectacular. Positioned toward the end of a quiet culdesac and right across the Rd from the water, made for a relaxed and peaceful stay for our little family. Having the kids dvd’s was a winner for our kids to enjoy some relax time after big day. We wanted to stay longer for the amazing location that it was!

Claire’s cottage on the beach was a beautiful hidden gem. Only a 30 min drive to the centre of Hobart, meant it was the perfect place to relax as a base point, and then go on wonderful day trips from there. Watching the sun rise over the water each morning was spectacular and the evening skies on dusk were just as stunning. The coffee machine produced incredible coffee, and the bottle of Tassie champagne was a lovely surprise! The bed was comfy and the shower was amazing! Thanks Claire for sharing your beautiful beach home with us. Hoping we can make it back again one day!

The house is large, the utilities extensive, the view magnificent. The outdoor entertainment viewing area and the automatic screens are all impressive. The kitchen, food prep area is impressive all the electricals are top quality. The fridge, stove top, oven and microwave are all adult size. The location is perfect for a run down to Port Arthur, without having to stay in the more expensive options down there. Also allows a good run into Hobart.

Tassie and specially Eagle Hawks area is extraordinary beautiful place to visit and stay...From the house it's short drives to lots of tracks and beautiful lookouts. Michelle's house has whatever you need to make it feel like home and rest from the long walks of surrounding places. locals are absolutely friendly and helpful. Highly recommended...

Stayed two nights after a two week lap of Tassie. We chose this location because it made a day trip to Bruny Island easy. Great views of the Derwent and an easy walk to the waters edge. Beds were comfy and the location was peaceful. The lift made it very easy to get the luggage upstairs. Joanna was proactive and responsive in the lead up to our stay.

Really lovely place to stay. We booked in order to visit van Bone but were blown away by the beautiful, peaceful setting, amazing wildlife ( in house echidna and kookaburra family). It was perfect. Also really well stocked house, great library and telescope.
