We had a wonderful time at De Vrede. The cottage is exactly as described and the garden is amazing. Our dogs especially loved the wild part of the garden. It was comfortable and cozy. Exactly what we we were looking for.

You couldnt ask for more! Beautiful setting right on the river. The house is spacious, tastefully devorated, clean and has everything you need. Lovely host who makes your check-in and stay super easy. We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay! The house was beautiful—spacious, clean, and instantly felt like home. It’s in a fantastic location, just a short walk to the water with a perfect jetty. We rented a boat and had so much fun exploring the area. Communication with Madi was excellent—she was super helpful and even arranged for wood to be delivered for us. The neighbours were lovely too, which just added to the warm and welcoming vibe. Highly recommend this place and we’ll definitely be back!

Beautiful cottage on a beautiful farm. We were welcomed with a freshly baked bread and milk from the farm. Elzette was a wonderful host and we had a wonderful stay with them.

Our stay at Goedemoed Farm House was absolutely divine- it is perfect for a large family gathering or a weekend getaway with friends; spacious, naturally beautiful and so comfortable. A little difficult to locate as you lose service on the road approaching the entrance gate but once you find the house it is a heavenly abode.

Egbert is a great host and we felt right at home. The place is spotless and really well designed. We enjoyed the outdoor areas with the pool and the large eating area. We ended up regretting only staying one night :-)

We absolutely loved staying at The Black House . It is everything you see and more . Els is such a great host and was there to welcome us as a family. Although we were there for a golf tournament, some of us refused to leave the home . Els has thought of everything as a just in case . We were welcomed with a light lunch of quiche , sour dough loaf , seeet treats a massive bowl of fresh fruit, milk , juice, yogurt . There was also spices , coffee, tea, breakfast cereal etc . The bathroom amenities are all of a great quality and once again Els had the just in case …. All the rooms are beautifully decorated and beds comfortable.Every room or space in the house is carefully thought of . The Black House is safe and tranquil. Els checks up regularly. I really can’t wait to go back , we thoroughly enjoyed our short break . Thank you so much Els . Definitely my no 1 Air Bnb to date .

Jonathan and Rosie were excellent hosts and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The accommodation is new and spacious, even more so than shown on the listing. I loved the shower! It's a lovely open, uncluttered space with everything you need. We were able to take our two dogs and enjoyed walks nearby. The perfect getaway!

We had a wonderful stay at George’s. It was an escape in the countryside. The place is beautiful and peaceful. Sandress, the butler, was incredibly friendly and ensured we had a comfortable stay. I would definitely return.

We had the most amazing stay at this very private off the grid cabin. If peace and quiet is what you are looking for. This is it. The place has everything you need. The surroundings are beautiful. Everything is very clean and comfy. You feel at home right away. The mountains that surround you is amazing. The most amazing views. This place is very private and the cabin manager was very helpful as well. We will for sure be back.

Had a lovely stay here with my family. The location is extremely scenic but also an easy walk to the main town of Swellendam for restaurants and supermarkets. The outside area of this home is fantastic- the stoep and pool area are amazing for warm days as well as one day it was raining here we sat out in perfect comfort watching the storm. Inside was incredible clean and spacious- the kitchen extremely well equipped for both braais and oven/stove cooking. Lynette was a fantastic host- proactive before our stay and responsive throughout!

We really enjoyed our stay at Karen’s place. The cottage was extremely comfortable and we loved the private outdoor space. Karen’s son Scott was really helpful with directions and recommendations.

As per my first visit to Lucky Crane Villas on my birthday in November, this visit was again spectacular. The interior aesthetics of Monika's design, the total comfort, the thoughtfully created functionality in every space, the integration with surrounding nature and the views out the windows, the private garden, and so much more - all this adds up to a truly fabulous experience. Definitely have dinner at the "The Courtyard Bistro and Theater", and breafast at "51", both must-visit destinations in their own right. Absolutely beautiful spot. Great for getting families together and hiking / chilling over Christmas. The place is wonderful - has fans to keep you cool and plenty cutlery / plates. The owners have done the most insane job of building and positioning this house. The VIEWS! Just a note to bring extra towels and all food needs (salt /pepper/tea/table tennis balls etc).

Had the best stay, my only regret is that I wish I could have stayed longer. Zelmaré was so friendly and went above and beyond for me ! Her pets are super friendly too ! i especially enjoyed the cuddles from the cat !

Rex was a friendly, kind host and their cottage is surrounded by mountains and bird life. We only stayed 1 night en route to Cape Town and ate out for dinner so didn’t use the facilities much but the plunge pool and patio must be very welcoming on hot days!

Lovely home on the Breede, great position and wonderful deck and braai area. Everything you need and the use of the SUPs and canoe is a bonus!

This place is a true gem – it is peaceful, relaxing, surrounded by breathtaking scenery. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. Our dogs also had the best time playing in the dam and exploring the spacious garden. It is a place that stays in your heart forever. We can't wait to be back soon.

Micheal-Adam is a very attentive host with knowledge of his town. The unit was neat and in pristine condition with high quality linen. I will recommend a stay with Micheal-Adam anytime. We will definitely go back there.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Marthalie’s place. The house is beautifully decorated and super clean.

Great place for a relaxing weekend, cozy fireplace inside for colder days and great hiking routes and scenic swimming spots for the summer. If you’ve come this far, make that booking.
