Melanie was extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful right from the very beginnig. She welcomed us as soon as we got there and we felt right at home. The whole home is absolutely stunning, just like the pictures and we had everything we needed there. Me and my partner stayed in the barn and our friends stayed in the cottage right next door, nice that we wasnt too far away from our friends but we also had our own privacy aswell. Though we had rainy weather whilst we were there, we didnt let it stop us from using the pool and hot tub. It was a great way to unwind and relax after the driving around and busy days out. Melanie would check up on us during our stay which we thought was very kind of her, she also left us cute little cornish treats which were super yummy. We wish we had booked longer and are looking forward to coming back again hopefully with a lot of sunshine! Thank you again Melanie, we loved our holiday x

We had a lovely stay at the apartment. It has been very cleverly designed to make the most of the beautiful sea view and the village itself has lovely character. Rebecca and James sent lots of information prior to our arrival and sent us a message mid stay to check whether we needed anything.

This is a lovely place to stay easy access to the beach and a great base to reach lots of local attractions. The place itself was super cosy and Darren was brilliant at answering questions and making sure we were ok! Thank you for having us.

Just had 3 nights in Torquay, staying at Adams place which was spotlessly clean and tidy. The beds were very comfortable and the bed linen really nice quality too. Lovely welcome hamper from Adam. It was a 10 min walk into Torquay from the house so a very convenient location (quite a steep hill home) and quiet too. I would really recommend Adams place and will stay there again.

Metin was incredibly helpful and very accommodating. He made me felt at ease with my 3 dogs. THREE DOGS! He made us all felt so comfortable. It was so easy to communicate with Metin as well. He’s always at the end of the phone for whatever I needed. The front bedroom was not only GORGEOUS.. the view, it was breathtaking. I can only imagine what it would look like in summer… or even in cold winter but dry day. I planned on coming back to stay longer to go on more adventures ♥️

Lovely place very clean , it is a hill up to it if you have anyone elderly just be mindful car park was grand across the road you have to pay between us all it wasn't much and it's free in the evening till morning , everything was in the house hair dryers etc and everything is spotless great hosts

Luxury lodge with hot tub and best views in Devon

Amazing location up in the hills. Quiet, peaceful with beautiful views (and sunrises!). The Lodge is well equipped, modern and still cosy with some really nice touches...including home made brownies on arrival! :-) The wood fired hot tub took some figuring out, but once warmed up made a lovely way to finish the evening looking up at the stars and across Exeter. Friendly, helpful and responsive hosts. We really look forward to returning!

These are a really well located set of apartments with great amenities. Very comfortable with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Parking is super easy in the basement of the apartment. Couldn’t fault it though you do pay for the privilege. We were staying in middlecombe 1 and the only issue was the 6am bottle bank and refuge collection on a number of mornings which does wake you up.

I think Freya’s - The Old Tea Hut, must rank as one of the most perfect stays that we have had through Air BnB - The chalet itself was extremely comfortable, well furnished with every amenity. The interior and exterior spaces are gorgeous with every attention to detail. I already knew the area well - and the views and environment are outstanding and the stunning weather was the icing on the cake. The chalet was immaculate when we arrived - I cannot rate it highly enough. Hopefully we can revisit again in the future.

Pat & Allan we're the perfect hosts from the beginning of the booking and throughout our stay. Nothing was ever too much trouble and responded very prompt. Their home was a home away from a home and staying with our two children age 4 and 2 and grandparents this was the perfect setting for us. Thank you so much again, it was the perfect house for us to stay in whilst we celebrated my sister getting married at St Audries park.

We were so lucky to find this at such short notice. Perfect location. (Turns out I came here 40 years ago with my parents). Very quiet and safe. Great for families and easy access to all the great beaches on the north coast. The lodge was virtually brand new and has everything you need for self catering. Everyone on the site was friendly. Nice play area and walks around the site especially with a toddler in tow. Highly recommend and we’ve already talked about coming back….. if they’ll have us. 😬

Had a brilliant new year break at Helens apartments, the whole apartment was decorated to a very high standard and was spotlessly clean, the beds were super comfy, the kitchen fully stocked with everything you needed, the lovely open plan kitchen diner living room with large sofa and chairs was perfect for our two small families to gather, had lots of really good information from Helen about the area, which was very helpful. Everything is right on your doorstep nice short and long walks, shops, pubs and restaurants the car didn't leave the car park. I would highly recommend the apartment and am looking to return ourselves for another stay.

Matt and prus cabin was a beautiful place to stay for a weekend, they were the most helpful hosts. We would definitely recommend for a weekend getaway to this beautiful place, it was perfect for all 4 of us.

Communication pre-arrival is outstanding, super responsive and very helpful indeed. the cottage is full of character and spotlessly clean. location is great, with shops less than 5 minutes away and well positioned for easy access to local attractions. the kids loved play with loads to to then occupied. the welcome treats were a lovely surprise too. we'd be happy to stay again in future
