A very nice, friendly, helpful and kind-hearted family. Dinner is eaten with them if you accept Nepalese food and they even add apple brandy. The location is perfect, right in the tourist area of Lakeside and yet quiet enough, very close to the lake. Everything is perfectly clean. But what is most exceptional is their warm welcome and the feeling that you are considered more as a family friend than as a paying guest. Even the cute dog is very friendly ! As a consequence I recommend this family 100% to those who are looking for a family experience.

I had an amazing experience — probably one of the best ever! The apartment was spacious and filled with natural light. It’s just a one-minute walk from the main road, but because it’s at the foot of a hill, it’s super peaceful, really charming, and surrounded by nature. There’s a rooftop, a garden, and even a badminton court. Tikka and Madhav were incredibly kind. They invited me to eat with them a few times, and I even went on a three-day trek with Madhav. I can’t recommend it enough, and I hope to return soon.

Great location in Northern Lakeside, 5 min walking to more noisy Lakeside Center. Cafés, restaurants, Garden Movie nearby. Amazing staff, food and great view. I was there during the beginning of the Covid-19 out-break, had to change plane etc. The staff was really helping. Eventhough I didn't have the chance to meet Lee, he was very available via messages and was worried of our comfort. If you're staying for a few days or a couple of months, and you want to be in a more qui "roots" neighbourhood, you should really consider LakeSide Boutique Hotel!

A fine apartment in a nice building away from the hustle and bustle of Lakeside, but still close enough to walk there as often as you like. Pros: -Tika and Madhav! The owners and their family are so welcoming and friendly. You will feel like family while you are there. -Location -Great hiking nearby -Super comfortable beds -Private parking if you rent transportation Cons: -Loud! The family is so welcoming that there are always guests who have a tendency to talk quite loudly. Also, there are many stray dogs that bark and bark! Madhav did speak with the owner of one of the loudest in the area to get them to do something about it which was much appreciated. -The place is great, but sparse. You can’t expect European luxury of course, the apartment has everything you need, it’s just not the most comfortable. All in all, I highly recommend this place. The few missing items or issues we had were instantly dealt with. Thanks so much Tika and Madhav!

Très bien situé, quartier calme, à 10 min à pied du lac qui est fort agréable! Les hôtes font tout pour qu'on s'y sente bien, maison très propre! Totale immersion dans une famille népalaise qui vous font partager leur tradition et coutumes, nous avons particulièrement apprécié qu'ils nous invitent à célébrer la grande fête Dashain avec eux et la famille, ainsi que la randonnée matinale à Sarangkot (super point de vue sur la montagne et le lac de Pokhara) à recommander! Un grand merci pour les thés Masala d' Ambika!!! Merci pour tout!

The family was great, helpful, and friendly. The location was ideal for pick up for excursions. The only downside, is the accommodation does not allow outside food or drink, assuming they want you to order from their kitchen (the food was excellent). If you are like me who likes take out/Take away to bring back to my room, sit on the balcony and eat, this is not the place. Otherwise, I highly recommend the stay. The view of the lake from my room was breathtaking and the family awesome. Thank you for having me.

It was a wonderful stay for my family of 8 with warm and friendly environment. Host was always responsive and ready to help in every ways he can . We checked in very early still he courteously offered to pick us up despite of odd timing. Overall it was indeed a wonderful stay, very close to the lake and safe too.

Stunning views and very peaceful area. I stayed 2 nights and it was a great and super relaxing retreat from the city hustle. The room is basic but there are plenty of terraces to hang around and hikes to points of interest. *One thing for the to note though is the pillows and linen had very strong oldish smell but I had some incenses with me so that worked out nicely
