Great location! We were able to boat to both Trident and Duncan Bridge Marinas. The views were gorgeous. Very quiet and peaceful. The house was clean and perfect for 6 adults (3 couples). Of note there were only 2.5 baths not 3.5 as listed. The two queen rooms share a Jack n’ Jill bathroom.

We loved our time here!! No detail was spared here and it was so easy to communicate with host! She even gave us a full list of area recommendations although it was hard to pull the kids away from the tree house :) A lovely place and we can’t wait to come back!

This was an incredible experience! This place is especially perfect for couples, no matter the occasion. I would definitely recommend it for an anniversary or even a honeymoon. It’s beautiful, peaceful, and unique. The hosts were so friendly and helpful, and the entire stay felt like a bucket list experience I didn’t even know I needed. Again, the scenery is beyond beautiful—peaceful, serene, and the perfect escape. We especially loved relaxing by the fire pit in the evenings, and one of the highlights was making pizza from scratch on a pizza stone using the gas grill provided by the hosts. Everything was just perfect—truly a 10,000 out of 10 experience! Whether you’re someone who’s seasoned at off-the-grid living or it’s your first time trying something like this, this place is a gem. It’s the kind of stay that meets you where you are and gives you exactly what you didn’t know you needed. Highly, highly recommend! 10 out of 10—highly recommend!

Visited for the first time last weekend and we loved it so much we booked it again for the next weekend. The home and area are just beautiful. It’s so peaceful!! We would go every weekend if we could.

We absolutely loved our stay here! We took a family vacation with our two young kids for a week just to relax and so my husband could fish on the lake. The house was gorgeous and clean, and the view was amazing. It was in a quiet area and the check in was super east. Stephanie was awesome and answered messages quickly. We had an issue with the toilet on our first morning, but I let Stephanie know and she had someone out within the hour to fix it - on a Saturday - and we had no other issues with it. There isn't much to do in the direct area, but there is a newer brewery closer to Cullman that we loved. Huntsville was an hour away and we took a day trip to Nashville. The house/location was perfect to just relax in but it also wasn't too bad of a drive if we wanted to go somewhere for the day since we had the time. We would definitely stay here again if we decide to go back to this area!

The cabin is easy to get to and sits on a beautiful point facing the lake. There’s a comfy screened porch, firepit area and boat dock with kayaks. There is a smaller studio cabin on the property as well that he owns and could easily allow for a small group of people to rent both structures! It’s clean and we felt safe in the area. Gas station is five miles away with groceries and made to order pizza. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful, super clean place. Appreciate the respect/save natural resources concept - cloth rather than paper towels, etc French press coffee a nice touch- thank you ; will recommend to any one going to Birmingham for a visit.

The home was clean and in an ideal location for our recent family gatherings. We loved the mountain-top location and the surprise underneath the cliff at the base of the stairs!

Great stay! Wonderful space that’s minutes away from everything that downtown Birmingham has to offer, as well as a very helpful parking spot. The place was clean and has a great TV in the living room, as well as a wonderful bathtub and general bathroom space. Would definitely stay again!
