This is by far one of the best airbnbs I've ever stayed in... 🥹 During my whole stay, I was treated with an amazing, amazing hospitality... and I made some great memories in Kapan ❤️ Sona has a lovely family, who will treat you with an immense kindness, and who will make you feel like at home ☺️ The house itself is located in a dreamy landscape above Kapan ❤️ perfect for relaxation and admiring the magnificent landscapes of beautiful Armenia. Staying here made me feel in love with Armenia even more, and I can guarantee anyone, that there is no better place to experience Armenia's beauty than in the Sona's house 😊❤️ Beyond grateful for choosing to stay here 🤍

Great AirBnB! Perfect choice for anyone looking to get outside Yerevan and into the mountains. Very close to Tatev where there is the longest cable car in the world, a zipline over gorges, and an amazing monastery. In Goris there are good restaurants, great views and old Goris where there are caves that used to be inhabited. The views are great and we highly suggest renting a car and driving around to different villages/towns in the area. If we ever come back to Goris we will definitely be staying at Artak's place. Great price, great hosts, great location!

Shvanidzor Guesthouse will always hold a special place in my heart. The warm welcome and invitation into the peaceful village life were unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. I will forever cherish the wonderful time I spent with Zalina, the host, and her lovely family. My stomach and heart were always full, and my spirit alive in the stunning Armenian highlands. I’m definitely coming back, and I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience Armenia's traditional treasures.

Suren and his wife Julia were great hosts, even if the language barrier was sometimes difficult. If you come with no Armenian or Russian, you may find it difficult to communicate fluidly -- but they are experienced hosts and will work with you to come to an understanding. Their son and daughter, often available on the other end of a cell phone, speak good English and can help with translating anything that can't otherwise be figured out. Julia's cooking and general hospitality are top-notch. If internet access is a priority, make sure you ask for the wi-fi device -- it needs to be plugged in in your room but the signal is surprisingly good once it's working.

Chalet très charmant dans un cadre verdoyant avec vue sur Tatev. Simple mais confortable. Accueil chaleureux, cuisine classique.

La nuit s’est très bien passée. Les lits sont très confortables et l’eau chaude à volonté. Nous avons pris le repas du soir là-bas et toute la nourriture était délicieuse. Avec le froid du 31 octobre la soupe était bienvenue et les dollars étaient incroyablement bons. Le petit-déjeuner du matin est varié : salé et sucré et nous a permis de tenir sans avoir faim jusqu’à 14:30 ! Les hôtes sont vraiment sympathiques et chaleureux. Dans la grande pièce de restauration qui est un garage aménagé, il a fait aussi une voiture de collection, une jeep beige. 5 chambres donnent sur l’extérieur d’où l’on a vu les montagnes enneigées. Les propriétaires vendent aussi toutes sortes d’herbes séchées pour tisanes et autres ainsi que d’autres petites préparations faites maison. Bref, vous y serez très bien.8

Vagho har skabt den lækreste lille oase i Tatev. Værelserne er lækkert indrettede, terrassen med spiseborde og sofagrupper er dejlig. Haven er vidunderlig, grøn og rolig og med dejlige siddekroge, når man vil sidde med en bog eller bare nyde bjergene eller lytte til brisen og sommerfuglenes flaksen. Morgenmaden er virkeligt lækker og hjemmelavet. Det eneste minus er faktisk at jeg aldrig kunne spise op. Stedet er lækkert, der er uanede muligheder for vandreture, klosteret er smukt, kabelbanen flot og der kommer alle typer af gæster på ‘Old Tatev’, så der er rig mulighed for gode og spændende historier rundt om bålet om aftenen. Men det bedste er Vagho og hans familie med hvem jeg har grint og grædt og alt muligt andet gennem mit ophold, der egentligt kun skulle ha’ været tre nætter, men endte med syv. Jeg kan slet ikke beskrive her, hvordan mit tid i ‘Old Tatev’ blev brugt. Så bare tak for at invitere mig helt ind i varmen.
