My dog and I had a wonderful stay! Our host was incredibly kind and met me at check in for a little tour of the place and to give some local recommendations. The view from the house is gorgeous and super convenient, as I brought my paddleboard and was able to SUP right out front. You're super close to a great little hiking trail to an overlook of all the islands and a few minutes drive from restaurants, though there is a BBQ at the house if you'd rather eat at home. I plan on coming back for a longer stay next time! One more thing to add - the host kindly offered to take some photos of my dog and I paddleboarding so I could leave with some memories. He and his neighbor were on the beach in the morning while I was out. You're getting more than the house with this stay. He's a gem.

We had a peaceful night in a quiet little town, and the house was big enough for the three of us. The stairs up to the second floor bedroom are steep, so if you have small children, you'll need to be careful. I was amazed at how clean and tidy the furniture, fixtures, and bathrooms were for a 100 year old house. I wouldn't expect to cook anything fancy, but the kitchen was fine for simple cooking. I felt very fortunate to have the luxury of using a space that had been carefully maintained over the years. The location is very close from Tadano-Umi JR station, and my hosts were kind enough to recommend sightseeing spots and restaurants in the neighborhood, which made my stay even more enjoyable. Alan and Reiko went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and to ease certain travel pains. We were celebrating a birthday and they were kind of enough to arrange a cake from the mainland, they helped us locate a camera left on the ferry, they facilitated a bike rental, they gave us rides when we needed them, the list goes on. We were lucky enough to eat at their newly opened restaurant, and had the most incredible meal - probably the best we have eaten in Japan thus far! This is to say nothing of their lovely property, which is sublime. We stayed in the queen villa and were able to look out at the beautiful garden foregrounding the sea and sky. The historic buildings were breathtaking, with modern touches to ensure our comfort. I especially enjoyed the espresso machine in the mornings! I look forward to someday returning to this incredibly beautiful and peaceful spot, thank you Alan and Reiko for a memorable family birthday weekend!

Highly recommend this room. Chie is the best kind of host one can have, and the room is a warm place to stay for anyone who is traveling to Takamatsu/Kagawa, with bus stop / railway station/ plenty of restaurants and shopping arcade in the neighborhood.

아궁이에사 솥밥을 해먹거나 이로리로 음식을 요리하는 컨텐츠가 있어 좋았습니다. 또한 현대식의 깔끔한 화장실과 주방이 있어 이용하기 편리했습니다. 쉬어가는 느낌으로 가기 좋은 곳입니다!

今回の滞在は本当に素晴らしいものでした！ホストのEeyanさんはとても親切で、質問にも温かく答えていただき、とても丁寧に教えてくれました。お部屋も高級感があり、とても清潔で非日常を味わうことができました。バレルサウナもあり、海と夕陽にフェリーが通っている景色が素晴らしくて感動しました。記憶に残るとても良い思い出となりました。 また、いつか利用させてもらいたいと思います。個人的には本当に星10でした！ありがとうございました。

리쓰린공원 근처에 위치한 숙소입니다. 근처 지하철역이나 상점가로 도보로 이동할 수 있었고, 호스트분이 영어로 설명이 가능하셔서 편하게 묵을 수 있었습니다. 다음 다카마쓰 여행때도 이 숙소에 묵고싶습니다.

This home perfect for our needs for a group of 5, 3 adults and 2 children. It was cozy and had a lovely character. The beds were fine and having a TV and Nintendo Switch was a great way to unwind in the evenings. The house was spotless and the host was fantastic, super responsive and even helped us with something after check out. The location was fine. Not in the thick of it, but still convenient i you don't mind walking. The walk to the station about 15 minutes but we managed it even with two small children. There were a few great dining options nearby including a yakiniku spot and an izakaya. A convenience store was just a couple of minutes away and the bakery next door was incredible. The cream filled croissant was unreal. We also spotted a cool burger shop but sadly it was closed during our stay. Taxis had no trouble finding the place which made getting around easier. If we are ever back in Okayama we would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend.
