We loved staying in this unique, beautiful area of old Takayama. Charming location beside the river and lovely walks to the main merchant areas, shrines etc. Like someone else put it, it felt like you were staying at Uncle Ned's house...a bit of clutter in the place and some cobwebs in corners, but if you don't expect the Radisson, you will love it here. The onsen next door is free and felt very welcoming! I would definitely stay here every time I visit Takayama.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is beautiful and looks exactly like the photos. There is a beautiful park directly behind the house, and it snowed while we were there, which was spectacular. Takayama is a relatively small town, so almost everything is walkable from the house. Iori manages several properties in the town and does a great job. I suspect that any property managed by Iori would be a great choice.

Notre séjour chez Iori était magique! Nous aurions souhaité rester plus que 3 nuits. Nous avons adoré Takayama et le logement y était pour beaucoup. Tout de l'acceuil au départ était très professionnel et on a senti qu'ils prenaient soin de leur clients. Ils sont aussi réactif dans la communication. Le logement style traditionnel est très beau et nous avons aussi adoré le petit déjeuner à la japonaise le matin. Ce logement est un budget mais je trouve que cela vaut la peine de mettre le prix pour avoir au moins une expérience premium lors d'un séjour au Japon. Nous avons adoré! Je vous le recommande lorsque vous irez à Takayama!

這是一間傳統的日本小屋，樓下是飯廳，客廳及廚房，還有一個現代化的洗手間。2樓有兩間和室，一大一小可以住上五人以上。對於外國人來說，住在裏面很有趣。地理位置方便，步行穿過一個小停車場，便是步行街。再過對面馬路，行過小橋，便是早市。在市內步行觀光很是方便，適合駕車或沒有駕車的旅客。唯地圖顯示小屋位置不準確，但屋主提出了正確的指示，容易找到。住了兩個晚上，我和家人都感到很愉快。

It’s in a charming area that immerses you into the town with easy access to all points of interest. Our host was amazing and showed us his favorite local spots that really set the tone for our trip. Great amenities for travelers who need laundry and space to decompress after long days.

We spent Christmas here and it was a lovely, peaceful place to stay. Spotlessly clean, comfortable and great amenities - the fancy toaster was a highlight! Easy walk to nearby supermarket. We had an issue with the Nespresso machine and our host popped by within minutes to help us out. He also gave a lot of great local recommendations. We’re so glad we chose this delightful place to spend a few nights!

As a family of 4 including 3.5yo and 7mo, we loved it. The stairs to the upstairs open bedroom are steep, but a baby gate at the top was just perfect. The house also had two boxes of duplo and a train set that was great for our Lego-loving lad. The location was right opposite a footbridge leading to the morning markets which is a popular spot for breakfast goodies and local bits. Taga’s wife picked us up from the station and dropped us off which was handy as it was raining both times but really the station wasn’t even far, and we walked there twice during our stay for other reasons. If you’re up for an open bedroom stay then we highly recommend.

Felt right at home, very spacious and in a great location with a breakfast cafe 1 minute walk away. There’s a window in the bathroom that doesn’t feel very private but made do.

The best airbnb I have ever stayed in. We arrived at the Lounge for check-in and was greeted by the friendly staff and offered yummy snacks. The staff then drove us to the house and provided a thorough rundown of everything. We also tried out the spa services, paired with the bath and sauna inside the house made the most perfect and relaxing night. Such a convenient location where everything was in walkable distance.

【キッチン・周辺環境】 キッチンは必要最低限だが、IHで鍋・フライパン、塩程度の調味料はある。外食でもたくさんの居酒屋があるが、近くの酒蔵で試飲しながら徒歩3分の肉屋さんで飛騨牛（2000円/100g）を買って塩のみで食べるだけで最高を超えた至高です。車で5分ほどのところにスーパーもあるので、富山湾のホタルイカや惣菜も買えます。 【水回り】 トイレは2つあり十分です。 独立したシャワーがあり、サウナを楽しんでいる間にも他の人が使えることが良かったです。 【サウナ】 メーカーは業界大手のMetosさんで、100℃まで設定でき、セルフロウリュウまでできます。 出てすぐの木のお風呂を水風呂にし、露天のバスタブにお湯を張りました。露天スペースには整う用のチェアもあり、雪に降られながら火照った体を落ち着かせることができました。 【寝具】 ベットは清潔で、マットレスも厚く、掛け布団はふかふかです。 2階からは路地や水路が見え、平日だったので朝は登校する元気な子どもたちの声で元気がもらえました。 【チェックイン・アウト】 お迎えをしてくださり、わかりやすかったです。 使い方も丁寧でかつ端的に教えてくださいました。 【ドリンク】 冷蔵庫に無料のドリンクがあります。 また、サウナ前の洗面スペース、ベット脇などにペットボトルの水があり、おもてなしを強く感じました。 【薪ストーブ】 個人的に薪ストーブが大好きなので、火を焚きました。 ものすごく部屋の気温が上がるというわけではないですが、2階の方が暖かいと思います。 消灯の2時間前に最後の薪をくべるとちょうど燃え尽きると思います。

Naomi's place is very close to the market and old town - all within walking distance. The house itself is very spacious for our family of 5 adults. It has all the necessary amenities like washing machine and dryer, parking space, etc for a very comfortable stay. Naomi is also very friendly and responsive.I would highly recommend this place.
