What a briliant start to a long awaited Cook Island adventure (after a hectic departure - almost didnt make it thanks to airline mess up) Simon picked us up from the airport and then filled us in on the drive to the accommodation, stopping and pointing out places to eat, beach acccess points and heaps more. We d3cided to rent a car for one day as we were only on Raro for 3 and that was a great idea being able to take back roads, stop and start at whim and just feel we got a better sense of the place. We're off to Aitutaki now but will definitely be returning to Rarotonga in the future. Simon and Denise were great hosts...there if you needed with lots of help and hints but certainly left us alone if we were happy. Thanks for a brilliant first impression...they always stick. Besides the very steep driveway it was an amazing place to stay at. Will definitely be back here when in Rarotonga.

Humble living for a reasonable price, stunning surroundings, literally not even a minute walk from the beach & only a 5 minute drive from shops & places to eat

We had arrange for transport from the airport so finding the place was easy. Mii, the owner did that for us. The air b&b was as described, however the owner was so pleasant and helpful that I have to give this place a five star+ rating. We made a mistake and only stayed 6 days. Rarotonga required 10 days and good hiking shoes.

Excellent location, private n secure, we had everything we needed for our stay! this place is so nice n more then what we expected. Modern, clean n tidy. nice cold air con, ceiling fan, FREE WiFi n netflix, washing machine with all the bits that come with doing your laundry☺️ big balcony w bbq overlooking lush greenery! (loved sitting out there with my coffee watching the sunset) the photos don't do it justice! Maire went above n beyond to the point we had to drag her out of bed midnight to let us in. Hence, why you should use the safety key lock box to avoid this from happening 🫢 Maires thoughtful little touches, fruit bowl on arrival, what to see n do on the island booklets, coffee machine, to name a few, made it so much more welcoming! her comms were 10/10 she would often message to see if we were ok, or if we needed fresh linen/towels & scrap bucket needed to be emptied. overall this place is a steal & we will be back for sure! thank you Maire x

We had the most amazing time in Rarotonga, Nev was an awesome host, everything was just as it says clean, private & peaceful. Very relaxing lots reading material, the tropical fruit breakfast was delicious. The location is perfect for the best snorkeling/swimming beach & other amenities. We had a great 4 night stay at Muri Serene Villa to kick off our Cook Islands holiday. The location was perfect if you’re wanting to be near Muri. At the bottom of the street (being a minutes walk or so) you’ll find a car rental place, the Muri night markets, Tapas, a corner store and a coffee shop. Still within walking distance is the lagoon cruises and the sailing club which is a great view for a happy hour drink. We had flawless internet and crisp cool air conditioning throughout our stay which was a great bonus and needed for those humid days. We found the property clean, tidy with thoughtful finishing touches (towels in the shape of a swan, fresh picked flowers, complimentary fruit platter, tea/coffee/milk/juice and bug spray). Other than the odd ants that are unavoidable we weren’t bothered by other insects/mozzies so had a very comfortable stay. We met the cleaners/gardeners upon arrival who were incredibly friendly, welcoming and kept the cottage immaculate! Meitaki!

One of the best airbnb stays I've ever had. Tere and family made me feel welcome immediately, and are absolutely fantastic hosts. They gave me great recommendations on where to find good food, the convenience store that's open late, and best things to see and do. The penthouse is cozy and clean, the bed comfortable, and the views are stunning. Enjoy the sunsets from the balcony or the beach, which is a literal stone's throw away. Don't overthink this one. I'd happily stay in the penthouse again, or one of their villas. Meitaki ma'ata, thank you all for an amazing holiday!

Loved our stay at Muri Retreat. Simon was super helpful with organising transport and was happy to help with any questions.

The first thing I would like to note is the location. The best beach on the island is a 2-minute walk away, you will not find the best places for snorkelling for free, plus there are 2 shops nearby, one of which is open around the clock (5-7 minutes by bike). Within walking distance (3-5 min), there are two places where you can rent a bike or a car. The second is that this apartment has an anti-mosquito screen on all windows and doors. There is a grill in the apartment, which helped a lot, we didn't have to go to restaurants and wait for our orders for hours. I would say the house has absolutely everything for a comfortable stay. I can't say that this is a place for complete relaxation, sometimes the neighbours who rent the villa can break the silence, having fun by the pool which is two meters from your door. I will not point this out as a disadvantage, just need to keep it in mind. In conclusion, I want to say that Eve and Brent do a great job of maintaining that place.

Teiana ‘s retreat is peaceful private , lush surroundings definitely a hidden gem . Lynn very responsive host great communication throughout my stay . I highly recommend this beautiful hidden gem .

We came for a week with our daughters and had a lovely stay. The backyard was great to play in and the beach right there amazing for hunting for shells, coral and hermit crabs. Seeing whales from the deck each day was amazing too!

A wonderful stay with my wife together on Rarotonga. Before check in you get a couple of information, that will answer all the questions you may have about your stay. The room itself was spacy, comfortable and very clean - We always felt well and had a great stay. Thank you very much!

Eddie was a fantastic host, and MM Studio 1 was the perfect home-away-from-home for 10days. it was a huge bonus finding somewhere with a stove and washing machine; that made the overall cost of the trip much more manageable. the bus stops right out front, the store is a short walk away and you can see the waves breaking over the reef from your balcony. the bed is comfy and big, and despite the lack of aircon; the ceiling fan + pedestal fan make for an effective combo, especially with all the louvred windows open (which all have bug screens fitted). Watching the rain roll in over the mountains behind the home was a real treat too. all in all, a great stay. if you're high-maintenance and want aircon, all the trimmings and people at your beck-and-call, go to a resort. If you want a place to rest your head with the necessary amenities and a genuine experience: I reccomend this place. Eddie was very helpful, both when I needed to extand my stay, and when there was a cyclone bearing down.

Julie and I would like to thank Lotu from the moment I booked the communication was first rate . The property was perfect for the two of us and was exactly as described and only had to walk out the back door to be on the Lagoon The fruit basket coffee tea even milk in the fridge was appreciated Also a big thankyou to Sala who called in regularly to see if we needed anything We couldnt have been any happier and didnt want to leave after our 4 week stay Once again Thankyou. I had a great experience at this location, walking distance to the beach but tucked away in a quiet street with all you need in a private spacious unit. In addition there are provided snorkeling and reef shoes etc to use. Lovely linen, spacious and comfy. Highly recommend

Carlos was a wonderful communicator. Roberto welcomed us so beautifully. Such lovely attention to detail with little flowers everywhere and a welcome card. The kitchen is great. The garden is spectacular. Lots of dvds for the rainy days. Very peaceful. We had my husband and I and our 24 year old daughter, and for us it was a little tiny, as where my daughter’s bed was, it was a little warm; but if it had just been my husband and I it would have been perfect. Thank you for having us in your beautiful home below your own home.
