Staying at Marie’s place is likely the best decision you can make if you want to immerse yourself with the Carribean coast and culture of Costa Rica. Surrounded by the ocean, the jungle and a few restaurants, you will be hearing a beautiful cacophony of birds, howling monkeys and reggea when sitting on the colonial veranda. Generous is not only the space itself, but in particular its owner Jerome. He’s the kind of soul who gives your journey some unexpected twists when he shares recommendations for spots and guides that you would miss otherwise. It’s just a week ago but we already reminisce about the time we spent there. Full recommendation!

Es war ein schöner Aufenthalt in dem Ferienhäuschen. Ein sehr schöner Garten bietet die Möglichkeit Vögel und andere Tiere zu beobachten. Kolibris kommen jeden Tag zu Besuch. Der Pool bietet eine willkommene Abkühlung.

Maria is a great and sweet host. The garden is beautiful and well looked after. The place is safe and has a gate. The kitchen was very well provided with daily necessities like tea, coffee, honey, olive oil, herbs etc. The location was perfect for us, away from the noice from the town, and when you cross the road you’re on the nature path along the sea going to beautiful and fun Cocles beach within 5 minutes.

Natacha was great and amazing with us !! She communicated well with us and helped us arrange anything we wanted to do or looking for. If we needed information about anything she was always accommodating us. She did not come back with just one recommendation but several. Always checking in on how we were doing, and if everything was OK, or if we needed anything. La Casa Del Mango was very clean and well organized. The amenities, awesome, well stocked with everything you would need. This whole place is amazing. Oh !! did I mention the pool, amazing. Oh !! did I mention Martin (Natacha husband) super nice, also amazing, Oh !! did I mention the wildlife, amazing. I can keep on going, and going, about La Casa Del Mango in a positive direction but I will end this review with saying that La casa definitely deserves 5 stars out of 5. Nope !!!! no negatives from our family vacation, would recommend to anyone.

El lugar es hermoso, amplio, lleno de árboles y tiene un rancho para pasar un rato fresco y agradable. La casa hermosa, con lindos acabados rústicos, está bien equipada. Luís siempre responde las dudas. Volvería sin dudarlo.

My friends and I spent a lot of time researching various Airbnbs in Puerto Viejo, and are so happy we decided on this one. Not only is this house beautiful, comfortable, clean and airy, but it is surrounded by gorgeous lush vegetation. It was wonderful to see (and hear) the many birds, butterflies and even howler monkeys through the large windows in every room (and from the various patios of the house). There was greenery everywhere. The location... a short (and pleasant) walk from the main road, and the beach was perfect. Our host Mirjana, and her husband Leo, are lovely people. They are pleasant, honest, and genuine, and are amazing hosts. Mirjana was quick to respond to the many questions I had. She was always available to give advice and tips about restaurants, drivers (she recommended an excellent tuktuk driver, whom we used often), and more. Mirjana and Leo, thank you so much for making our stay at Casa Palmera so special.

Beautiful Airbnb right by the beach! The location was perfect, just steps from the san. The space was stylish, comfortable, and full of natural light. The host was welcoming and provided everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful beach getaway.

Mi estadía en el Airbnb en Puerto Viejo de Limón fue muy agradable. El lugar es bastante espacioso, con una excelente ventilación y una iluminación natural que lo hace muy acogedor. La piscina estaba siempre limpia y Aziza siempre estuvo disponible lo que fue un plus. Un detalle a considerar es que la distancia hasta la calle principal puede parecer un poco larga a pie, pero en vehículo es muy rápido y accesible. En general, fue una experiencia muy positiva y recomendaría el lugar para quienes busquen un ambiente tranquilo y cómodo

Wonderful place to stay in Puerto viejo. Everything is in walking distance and the cahuita national park and manzanillo Refugio are just 20-30min by car. Our host was very nice and reacted very quickly and relaxed when we locked us out one time 😅 I can only recommend this place to everyone wanting to stay in the area.

Es una excelente opción para hospedarse con amigos o familia. Playa Chiquita se encuentra a tan solo unos 200m, es una playa tranquila, limpia y con árboles que ofrecen sombra en toda su extensión.

We have stayed at Mery’s Riverside Loft for 9 years in a row! It’s got everything you need for a long (or short) stay, is in a beautiful location immersed in the jungle and within both walking and driving distance of restaurants, grocery shops and the heart of Puerto Viejo. For us, it’s home away from home.

We loved our stay at Marianna’s place. Yes, her restaurant downstairs is delicious, not cheap but delicious!!! We loved: *She provided cold water in the fridge *The ice trays were filled *Local coffee was available to be made *AC in the bedrooms and the living room *Ceilings fans throughout the apartment *White bath and hand towels *Beach towels provided *Board games and books *No bugs or mosquitoes *Do not flush your toilet paper(research it if you don’t understand the reason why) *The apartment is less than 1/2 miles from El Caribe and Interbus Shuttle offices *We were allowed to store our luggage No one is perfect: *Bring your own face towel/wash cloth *The stairs to reach the entry door are narrow *The stairs inside the apartment are as pictured in the listing!!! *The music and karaoke from the neighboring restaurants can be heard until about 2a done nights. Play sleep sounds, use ear plugs, close the windows or this might not be the place for you (we enjoyed it and slept well)

Lovely place. The landscaping is extraordinary and it was so beautiful we spent several days just staying at the house. The hotel next-door was a bonus as it had a bar restaurant where we could order drinks and food and have them delivered to the beach. the beach was empty, but you could walk a mile and either direction to go to a busier beach with beach bars and restaurants. Had a bit of an issue with the pool at one point, but Utopía Caribe, the property manager, was very attentive and remedied the problem to our satisfaction. If you're going to the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica, rent this house.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit der Unterkunft! Sie liegt ruhig mit einem schönen Garten und wunderschöner Terrasse. Sie liegt etwas außerhalb von Puerto Viejo, aber alles ist gut zu Fuß zu erreichen.

I had a perfect stay in Puerto Viejo and in Ernyk his airbnb. He helped me with extra requests which was very nice. The house is very new and beautiful, a lot of green and animals around + only 5 min bikeride to shops and restaurants. Another plus is the eco friendly elements in the house. I would recommend this place 1000% and hope to return someday.

Nos gustó Mucho. el lugar muy tranquilo Giacomo nos atendió muy bien muy amable y servicial, esta muy bien ubicado cerca de las playas y lugares recreativos volveríamos sin duda.

Martin est un hôte très sympa. Nous avons adoré l'endroit, la plage est accessible à pied en 5 minutes, le centre est quant à lui à 15/20 minutes à pied. La piscine est très bien également. Merci !

The rooms are very big and great for groups of people. Steps from the beach, pool, tennis court, super chill people. Next door to Banana Azul beach club so you can hang there and use their services as well.

Es un lugar excelente, su ubicación es perfecta, es privada pero no lejos de todo, cómo playas restaurantes, supermercados, la comunicación con Jorge fue asertiva, no hubo problemas con las indicaciones. La estadía fue agradable aún cuando el clima no estuvo tan bien, pero disfrutamos. En general si volveríamos. De las ocupaciones que he visitado PV, es la mejor estancia.
