We had stumbled upon a hidden gem in the countryside. My kid enjoyed playing with the dogs and we enjoyed having food under the trees in the open space.

If you are looking for a leisure vacation without much sightseeing in your plan, i would definitely recommend this place. Its located in a beautiful valley with mountains covered with the clouds and it was a spectacular view. We love the concept of mud house which was built in a very unique way. The caretakers and especially Ambily made sure we were comfortable by all means during our stay.The food was authentic and enjoyed every bit of it. They also arranged transportation for local sightseeing when ever we asked for.We really miss the days spent there. Absolutely love coming back again.

Es war sehr schön! Der Ort ist sehr abgelegen und hat eine schöne Natur. Die Mitarbeitende waren sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich!

The place is just next to the hills and both directions you find interesting spots to enjoy nature. Wild peacocks, deer and boar crossed my way and a whole bunch of magnificent birds. I recommend walking all east and follow the paths to the major temple 1,5h walking distance. Besides really enjoyed the between in/outdoor shower.

The stay was amazing and the location was serene. Perfect for friends get-together amidst the forest, river streams and dam is walkable. They have a cook from a nearby village who makes great South Indian food and the care taker was very helpful and kind. Overall had a wonderful time in this stay.

المكان رائع مثل ما كنت متخيلة تقريبا، العاملين فيه جدا ودودين ، ما اكرر التجربة بسبب الاكل الحمد لله كان في خيار المشوي على العشاء والاومليت ع الفطور ، انا اكل اكل هندي لكن لللي يقدمونه فيه نكهة بهارات ما ناسبتني وحرارة فلفل زايدة .. السكن مافيها سوبرماركت قريب منه ، والغرفة لا تتوفر فيها ثلاجة ولا غلاية ولا موقد ولا غسالة كما ذكر في الوصف .. القهوة وشاي مسالا في اي وقت يقدمونها وطعمها لذيذ، بس تفاجات انهم مجمعين الفواتير مع تسجيل الخروج ،المفروض مثل الفنادق كل ما اطلب شي يوقعوني على الفاتورة مباشرة ، لكن الامر هين والسعر رخيص .. والحقيقة يفترض ان يكون عدد محدد المشروبات الساخنة مجانا لعدم توفيرهم غلاية في الغرف .. الدرجات كانت متوفرة بس مقاسها جدا كبير وتحتاج صيانة .. الاسرة لا توجد اسرة مفرد نهائيا في جميع الغرف .. انصح بالركوب مع سائق يعرف المنطقة وجيد في القيادة وسيارته جيدة لان الطريق صعبة .. في النهاية انا استمتعت جدا جدا في المكان طلعت وانا كاني طالعة من مزرعتي

I had a wonderful stay at the House OF Mud. Kavita is a lovely, warm, caring person & has an altruistic leaning. During my stay, I had fallen ill, probably a stomach bug & kavita got me medicines, bananas, coconuts, offered me home cooked food, kept checking on me & I felt cared for & not alone. That was very caring of her. She has made a folder with different categories of which restaurants to visit for what kind of food, popular authentic food or fine dining; what activities to do, which places to visit, addresses of grocery stores, sweet stores, etc. This was very useful to me & I tried most of the recommendations. Kavita invited me on a Farm Flower Walk event that she conducted in her personal capacity & it was a lovely experience. This was a friendly, out of the way gesture on her part. I would highly recommend a stay with Kavita in her House Of Mud, which is a beautiful home with lots of trees with squirrels scampering around & so many birds chirping away !

We stayed at the mud house. It's a certainly a great place to have a peaceful time. Host was good. And overall it's a great place to chill out and relax.

Medha was really a great host and very supportive about everything. The caretaker Tapan was really nice guy. Really enjoyed the staying. Only thing you have to careful is the insects 😃😃

Well ventilated, well maintained. House help was available who was really polite and helpful. Almost in the middle of HSR layout. Homely atmosphere. Peaceful, away from traffic. Good internet speed, was able to work without any issues.

I stayed for quite a long time at this place. The host PUSHPA ma’am is very caring, friendly and a warm person. I felt “at home”.Meeting her and talking to her itself was a wonderful experience. She cooks yummy South Indian dishes. I m glad I met her in my journey. Home is earthy, clean, beautiful, surrounded by greens. Feels very grounded.

Really enjoyed the stay at this charming retreat. The serene atmosphere provided a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The mud house accommodation was unique and comfortable, adding a rustic charm to the experience. The breakfast was very delicious. The pool area was also a highlight, offering a refreshing place to relax. While there was a slight lack of maintenance in the grounds, likely due to the off-season, it didn't significantly detract from the overall experience. Despite this minor issue, the stay was thoroughly enjoyable, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

This airbnb is more like a resort. No need to communicate with the owner since they have a front office and staff that can take care of everything that you need. We did not know our airbnb booking was a fan room only, but they were quick to move us to an A/C room at no extra cost since it was available. You simply cannot beat the price that you pay here with everything the property and nearby area has to offer. Breakfast was included with our booking, and the smoothie bowls were delicious. The resort even has their own coffee shop on the boardwalk. We met the owners in the breakfast area and they were very nice and were excited to get to know us. 10/10 would book again.

perfect getaway to be in nature less than 2 hours from Bangalore. boulder house is unique and amazing especially for visiting with your pets. caretakers are very nice and so are the hosts. loved staying here and would love to go back
