We were 2 families who booked this property for the weekend. This place was exactly what we were looking for the weekend getaway. This property is located between Ooty and Coonoor. With smooth roads leading to the property, it was easy to get there with our own vehicle. To add to this, there was minimal traffic, making it perfect off-beat location for stay in this region. The property area is quite large and lots of free space to roam around. The view from the property was perfect for a homestay. Watching sunrise from the property was one of the best moments we had in this property. The house was well kept and maintained by humble caretakers. The home from inside was perfect for 2 families to stay along with accessible kitchen. Living in this house was like staying in our own house away from our residence. Each one of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and wished that the vacation never ends.

Had a wonderful time staying here! We woke up everyday to the wonderful tunes of singing birds and surrounded by beautiful trees all around. The cottage was was very neat with plenty of space for 4-6 people. It comes with a large room, attached washroom, an open dining space at the landing and an open verandah that runs along the perimeter of the cottage. Aside from the cottage itself, what stood out was the beautiful common area and poolside. Special shoutout to the manager, Mr Prince for taking great care of us and catering to all our needs. He made us very comfortable and went above and beyond to help us plan the activities for the day. Would recommend to friends and family looking for a quiet place to chill over the weekend.

We visited this place as family of 6. The house is very quaint and the bedrooms were really spacious and perfect. The property is managed very well and the housekeeper Mercy was extremely helpful. She even made us fire in the indoor pit for the last night. All the water heaters worked perfectly and every room had a tiny room heater as well. Great place to stay. We did have a little difficulty in locating the property but the housekeeper guided us properly.

We are a family of 7 and recently visited Kodaikanal. We were looking for a spacious and comfortable place to stay, and we found Jarcanda Villa. It was the perfect place for our family! The villa is a beautiful vintage property that is very well maintained, with plenty of space for everyone. The rooms were cozy and well-equipped, making sure we felt at home. We especially loved the peaceful surroundings and the breathtaking views. The host was incredibly friendly and ensured we had everything we needed for a memorable stay. One of the highlights was the barbecue – it was absolutely delicious, and I highly recommend everyone try it. The campfire experience in Kodaikanal’s cool climate was unforgettable and really added a special touch to our trip. While a few things in the bathroom could use some attention, these minor negatives are completely overshadowed by the positives of the property. We highly recommend Jarcanda Villa to anyone looking for a relaxing, fun, and enjoyable getaway!!!

I had a wonderful week at this beautiful, secluded property next to Kaldan Samudra in Mahabalipuram. The location is perfect—peaceful, private, and with direct access to the beach right at the doorstep. Waking up to the sound of waves and having the ocean just steps away was truly special. Vijay, the host, is incredibly warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything needed. The home itself is well-maintained, with a calm and relaxing atmosphere, high-speed internet, a fully functional kitchen, and reliable power backup—making it comfortable for both short and long stays. It’s also well-situated, with all major scenic spots within a 10km radius, making it easy to explore the area. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful getaway or a base to explore Mahabalipuram, this place is a fantastic choice. Would definitely stay here again!

Well when we as a group of old friends decided to meet for a reunion and were looking for a place to spend an entire day reliving byogone days, we ended up our search at this place just an hour away from city. What a place! That was our reaction as soon as we entered the premises. The structures within the area are tastefully designed and placed giving prominence to the greenery. We were welcomed by Sandeep: our host and gave a brief about what we would be in for. He was warm and suave and we connected instantly. We had the entire property to ourselves and we indulged in playing Futsal in the lawn area, reminiscing and having lots of banters. We were assisted by 2 caretakers who are always present to tend to your needs at any point in time. The food was top notch and we also had some BBQ during night time along with great music and projector in the lounge area. Evenings at Waterloo Bungalow were magical. Angel orchestrated a mesmerizing bonfire, a perfect way to unwind under the star-studded Ooty sky, creating unforgettable memories.
