木質's place is the perfect home base for exploring Jiufen. Minutes away from the Golden Waterfall and the trailhead to Mount Keelung, you really couldn't ask for a better location. And yet, in spite of the proximity to the busy streets of Jiufen, 木質's spot is quiet and tucked well off the main road into town. 木質 was extremely helpful and on the day of my arrival he came and met me on the street to show me back to the unit, something I would advise others to do if they are arriving in their own vehicle. The space is just like what you see in the pictures. I loved the views through the large windows looking down the narrow valley to the ocean and got a real kick when a local cat posted up in front of them on the first night of my stay. The breakfasts that 木質 prepared were both delicious and generous and helped fuel me up for long days spent exploring the surrounding countryside. Highly recommend 木質's place to others.

We had a wonderful time in this unique stay! The host was accommodating even after we checked out and helped us find the spot once we arrived. This spot is perfect for those looking to enjoy Jiofen when the tourist traps die down in the AM and late night

Jason was an incredible host. He was fast to respond, which was great because when we arrived it was late night and raining. The Airbnb was incredibly clean and he was so thoughtful to leave snacks and drinks out for us. Every morning, he would bring us the most delicious breakfast that we would enjoy in front of the window looking out at the magical view of the mountains and ocean, you could even see the famous tea house from our place. We would have ate outside at the table if it hadn’t been raining the whole time while we were there. It was within walking distance to everywhere! 10/10 Airbnb and host!

The couple was so welcoming and friendly and gave such wonderful recommendations! Even for the next spot on our itinerary, Jiaoxi. We loved the funky design of the place and were really impressed that the high counter was made by them! The view of Keelung mountain in the bedroom is really pretty too! They also came out to meet us to bring us to the property and were so warm, that we felt at home right away. Thank you so much for a lovely stay! :)

樓下有兩家便利商店，就在南雅夜市的隔壁，房間完全獨立，有自己獨立的浴室，不會受到干擾，到台北旅遊是個很不錯的住宿地方^ ^

Convenient transportation, just a few steps away from the bus stop. It is more convenient for those without suitcase or with light luggage because it involves climbing stairs. The room was good, but the only drawback is that the water pressure of the water heater wasn't good enough, the water was either too hot or too cold. Fayanlin was friendly! Thanks for the veggies! :) It is a great and quiet place to stay!

가격이 싼편이고 환경또한 생각보다 깨끗해서 좋았어요. 바닥이 약간 더러운 편이지만 슬리퍼가 있어서 괜찮았어요. 욕실은 깨끗합니다. 위치가 중심가여서 가까이 돌아다니기 엄청 편해요! 친구끼리 가는데 싸고 괜찮은곳 찾으시면 여기 추천드립니다. 직원분들도 친절하셔요.

價格親民，交通也算便利

It’s right in the heart of everything! But also it’s very easy to catch an Uber if you want to experience a different part of the city, but everything is also walkable where you are! Best part is there’s a 7-Eleven right underneath you as well as a night market!

The guest house is conveniently located right in front of the train station (<1min walk) and 7 mins away from the most breath taking view of the sea! The guest house is so uniquely cool, decorated with all the artsy surf merch you can imagine! The owner is also a surf coach so if you love surfing, this is the right place for you! The owner, Mr Huang, is the most hospitable, kindest and friendliest person ever! He invited us for a basketball game with his kids and I say that was one of my most memorable nights in Taiwan🇹🇼!

Luo-jie’s airbnb is the perfect combination for travellers who seek a heartwarming local welcome. She’s so kind to ensure that I arrive and checkout with ease- seeing that my luggage is heavy she insists on helping to carry and driving me to the bus station. Lou-jie also gives great suggestions for activities that are more special, such as taking the local bus for sight-seeing. Her breakfast is hearty and super nourishing! I am surprised by the large portion and how refreshed I feel after :) Toilet is super clean and so is the entire room and space. The loft is more spacious than I imagined it to be. I had a good night’s sleep. Xie xie ni Luo-jie! I am fortunate to meet you this year, and hope to visit again! Be happy~
