Lisa and James were awesome from booking,check in and check out. Very easy to get into, they mentioned the maps might lead us a different direction but had zero issues finding the place and getting right in. The home was exactly as described and amazing, never had an issue. SUPER PEACEFUL AND QUIET! Highly recommend stopping at a food store prior to coming up so once you’re here, you’re good to go!

I spent 3 nights on this property , the pricing was fair for the view and the amenities. Absolutely beautiful scenery, I hate that I didn’t get to get in the lake because of the weather , but so happy they had private hot tub on the property. The hot tub itself will leave you feeling stress free lol. The house was spotless and decor was beautiful very homie. I was suppose to have 5 guest but ended up just being 3 and feel like that’s the perfect amount of guest for this house. Love it , and highly recommend if you just wanna get away and enjoy some nature.

The house is such a gem!! It was perfect for our family of 9 for Thanksgiving. We could have never left the house our entire trip because the main level is so cozy and comfortable. There is plenty of games and puzzles to keep everyone entertained. My son loved the little nook area with the bean bag. There is plenty of space to spread out with the 3 different living room areas. If you want a good workout - go for a walk! The house is at a higher elevation in the neighborhood, so you will have to walk down and back up. We hiked to Laurel Falls - that was another workout! Be prepared to drive a little ways to the grocery store. We brought most of our groceries but needed a few things and the next town is 25-30 minutes away. (Of course, there is always Dollar General that is closer!) Not many places to eat out. The first night we went to the Trading Post and the food was good and the people were so friendly, we stopped back in on our way out to say goodbye!

I don’t think any amount of time would’ve felt long enough staying at Anthony’s place. We felt right at home during our stay and absolutely loved the house and area. We loved how we could spend time together but also weren’t right on top of each other since there’s plenty of space in the three level home. I have two teenagers (16&17) who had their own bedrooms/bathrooms and us adults were able to have our own privacy on the lower level of the home. The kitchen had everything we wanted and needed and has a perfect layout for family meals. The porch was our favorite place, especially in the mornings. Being able to hear the creek while reading and having our morning coffee on the porch swing bed was so relaxing! My oldest son loved fishing the creek and exploring the woods. The grill was clean and worked perfectly. There were sticks for roasting marshmallows which was fantastic! There was firewood available (even though we came prepared with our own). It was a perfect trip for my family!

The location is perfect. Matched photos and description perfectly. The listing did have one error. One of the queen beds is actually a king. The river has a wonder sandy area right in front on the house which was perfect for the kids to play in. Would definitely book again.

If you're looking for views from heaven this is the place! Its breathtaking. Spacious, quiet, and picturesque. House is nestled between neighbors and you'd never know. Wildlife and wilderness meets quaint neighborhood... but at a golf resort. Only downfall is if you dont get groceries prior to arrival,you're out of luck during winter since your on the top of the mountain. Its about 20 to 30min down either direction for them (I shopped on the way in). Things to do are also sparse at this time of year. But, that wasn't the point for our trip, it was to "disappear" for a few days. Bryan was an awesome host. He kept intouch throughout the entire process. I had to make adjustments to my initial occupancy number and cut our trip short a day due to weather related precautions. He was accommodating for each request. Couldn't have had a better host. He invited us back and also made us aware he had other properties on the same resort. All around pleasant and helpful. We will definitely be back!

Very scenic. Our family spent only 2 (wonderful) nights--perfect getaway. We hiked to the top of Stone Mountain, with its scenic views, especially the waterfalls. After this long climb, the jacuzzi was a most-welcome respite. Our boys spent their first years of life in Bali, so the unexpected dusting of snow was the "icing" on the cake, especially as we were in the jacuzzi during most of it. The internet is reasonably fast (~100 mbs) and reliable. The gas fireplace is a very nice touch. The place was clean. It might be a bit slippery to reach the cabin in snow and ice, as the access is rather steep. We did have a few stinkbugs and released about 15 to the outside. One of our sons enjoyed playing with them, and insisted on bringing one home. The "house rules" are mostly reasonable, but a few were not practical. For example, the warning not to put food in the trash, because of a bear problem. There is no garbage disposal, so I guess you have to haul out food-contaminated items.

Stunning location. Beautiful home and surrounded land. I made a friend with the horse next door! Sparta is extremely close!

This is my second stay of what I hope to be many, many, many more. And just like the first, everything was pristine, thoughtful, and luxurious. I can't recommend this spot enough, but even more: the generous, kind hosts and property manager. Book your trip (just not when I'm planning to visit).
