Tom and Petra’s home is absolutely stunning! From the moment we arrived, it felt like a true home away from home. The space is incredibly generous, with massive rooms, super comfy beds, and a spacious living and dining area—perfect for relaxing and spending time with friends. We especially loved the interactive speaker system and, of course, the amazing pool! It’s an ideal stay for a large group, and having the option of a third bathroom in the Pilates studio was a fantastic bonus. Tom and Petra were wonderful hosts—communicative, helpful, and always responsive. The only thing to note for future guests is that while there isn’t a sofa lounge for a 7th guest, there is a spare mattress available. That said, this place is a solid 10/10, and we’d absolutely stay again!

With Marion shopping centre and Brighton Beach a short drive away, you can't beat the position of this beautiful home with incredible views of the Adelaide beaches and night time lights. It was such an easy home to settle into. There are steps down to the living area to be mindful of. Our group of 7 adults, a toddler and a baby enjoyed the many comfy areas to sit, relax and enjoy the peace and the view. There is a bus stop at the doorstep virtually which takes you to Marion and beyond if needed. Queenly was a terrific contact and very prompt with her help. We'd love to return again.

Very cosy, peaceful, spacious and relaxing. Nice breakfast supplies were provided. Great amenities too. Beds are big and comfortable. There were lovely candles everywhere. Lots of “things to do” information provided. The chickens came out in the morning… very cute. Too bad we only had one night there. Thank you for hosting us.

This is a weird review - I was travelling to Adelaide to work for two months, but had an accident before I left and was unable to travel. Vince was so helpful and flexible in allowing me to have my replacement colleague stay in my place. I was gutted, as I was really looking forward to my stay. However - my colleague says "The house was great - really homely, in a great spot with plenty of good shops walking distance away. And the hosts were very accommodating with great communication". As for me - will still be top of my list if I ever get back to Adelaide for another job! Thanks for all your help.

Great location, walking distance to the beach, hotels and the Grange Golf Club. Great size space for large groups, lots of bedding/towelling provided, very neat executive style house with all the expected amenities. Owners were great communicators, allowing us to gain entry an hour earlier, house was really clean. Would love to stay again.

We had a really nice stay at Julie’s place! The apartment was very clean and smelled so lovely. The linen on the beds was so comfy and lush! The fresh food left was so handy with young kids- had something to feed them straight away without having to find a supermarket! Did get a little noisey at night just from pedestrians walking past but didn’t deter and would stay again! Thanks!

Suzi’s place was very clean , had everything we needed plus much more including fresh food, a lovely welcome card, local wine, snacks and a great feng shui about it. Great location in between Henley and Glenelg and a minute’s walk to the beach and watching the sunsets. Close to airport and city and bonus was the fringe festival that was on. Suzi was very responsive with everything. Great place, great host. Will definitely stay again if we get the chance. Thank you Suzi for making our stay easy and welcoming. Regards Jo and Jason.

We really enjoyed our stay, very convenient location and loved that we could walk to cafes, shops and the beach. Spent sometime relaxing in the very private and sheltered front garden too.

An enjoyable stay. Wendy was very accommodating in letting us drop off luggage earlier so we could go to an event. She was also very prompt when responding to queries about the place (locking up and gas bottles). The place was quirky with some fascinating features and pieces. We appreciated the pantry items and the fans available as it was extremely hot during our stay. Thank you.

My husband & I, plus another family, spent a week at Suzie's Villa & all had a fantastic stay. The house is really beautiful, super clean, exquisitely furnished, has every mod con, is walkable distance to eating places & a supermarket, is set next to a lovely vineyard with a view of the rolling hills behind, & we lacked for nothing. Suzie had even added lovely extra touches - port & chocs, biscuits, & plenty of basics like cereal, sauce, cooking oil, & coffee pods, etc etc. There is plenty of crockery, cutlery, saucpans, frying pans, etc. Suzie has a flair for interior design & the Villa was truly a home-away-from-home, and our group loved every minute of the luxury & beauty there. Also, Suzie was helpful & prompt in communications & gave some great suggestions & ideas of things to do, & where to access a hot air balloon ride & the Gorge Wildlife Park (both big highlights for us!). One of the very best Airbnbs we've stayed in, over many years. Thank you Suzie!!

My husband and I come to Adelaide each Christmas break to spend time with family and we have stayed in a variety of accommodation- everything from inner city hotels to cottages, but this property has to be the all time favourite. The views were incredible and the hosts had clearly put a lot of thought into the amenities provided to make their guests stay comfortable and enjoyable- from toiletries to kitchen items, it was all sorted, along with a lovely welcome hamper. Highly recommended this property for a getaway any time during the year!

A great location for a stay in Adelaide. The house is charming and set in a lovely location that is peaceful and private. Easy walk to a great selection of restaurants and cafes. Definitely recommend and for families the park and playground across the road is a great bonus. Trish

The Beautiful Barossa made even better by our staying at this traditional heritage house that made us feel at home. We selected Veritas Retreat firstly because it was within walking distance of an event we were attending at Peter Lehmaann Winery and also close to other wineries , we were able to relax. enjoy a wine and unwind. The house is as described , a historic home that made us feel comfortable with everything you needed provided. Tasty Barossa bacon and sausages and eggs from our hosts chickens, [thank you ladies] made a great start to each day having woken to the sound of kookaburras. A glass of wine provided for us and some we brought made a perfect ending to our day. We have stayed in many B&B's around Australia, all have been great experiences but we really were saddened to have to leave Veritas Retreat, the stay had been so good, so relaxing, so private but with everything at hand. I especially enjoyed reading about the history of the house and the Binder Winery.

We had an incredible stay at this Airbnb! The house was absolutely beautiful—clean, spacious, and thoughtfully decorated. The highlight was definitely the spa! After long days of exploring, soaking in the hot tub was the perfect way to unwind. The hosts were fantastic, providing clear instructions and great local recommendations. The property had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat!
