This is our second visit to Diane's place. It's walkable to the plaza, and just the right size for us. Our daughter loves the bunk beds and floor pillows! The little patio is a great place to sit and chat with a beverage after a long day exploring. We will be back next year hopefully!

We enjoyed staying in a historic adobe located a close walk to the plaza. The living room and bedrooms were spacious and cozy.

Fabulous casita! Kristin’s house has absolutely everything to make a home away from home and more. We loved the heated floors, tiled shower in the master bedroom and two bathroom feature. It was very quiet in the countryside and once we learned the pathway to get to the house, it was easy. Our stay was short and sweet but would definitely recommend Kristin’s house to others.

This house was fantastic. Amazing views and lots of room for our group to spread out. The NM artwork, books, etc. throughout made it feel very homey. The hot tub was very clean. It was the perfect spot for a multi-family ski weekend, and we would love to come back some time!

What a charming home! It is well designed and appointed, we felt right at home. It is better than it looks in photos. The kitchen was equipped well for cooking and we enjoyed staying in most nights. The hosts made everything easy and communication was prompt….I highly recommend staying here!

A real retreat from the hectic pace of life. There was no ambient light so the night skies were vivid. There was no ambient noise. So nice to enjoy the quiet. Being at the very end of a road, we only saw an occasional hiker or mountain biker in the distance. No passing cars etc. The house is really cosy with a wonderful living space, with kitchen, dining room and living room all together. There is a separate room with desk if one needs to get away. The room at top of ladder is like a little tower out of a fairy tale, with windows all around. We did a beautiful hike 10 min drive away called Embudo Box Canyon. We used the local market which is well stocked. Well worth it if you want a quiet retreat in a beautiful and remote spot - although Taos is just a 1/2 hr drive.

This is an adorable, well appointed home in a picturesque, quiet neighborhood just outside of the town of Taos. About a 20-25 minute drive to Taos Ski area. The kitchen had everything we needed. There is a great guest guide. The mattresses were spectacularly comfortable. Highly recommend

I thought it a good value because, while pricier that most airbnbs, the experience is unique. I have known of Earthships for decades and have lately been getting serious about owning one. This was valuable research and a step toward making that a reality. It's also good to know that, while I would make some design changes, the systems work very well and it was very comfortable to stay in one. On the whole, it was a very educational and inspiring stay!

Our 7th annual ski vacation, couldn’t have picked a better home. Great location, spacious, stylish, comfortable and cozy. Highly recommend this Airbnb and look forward to coming back.

We all loved staying here so much that we're already planning when we can come back. The home and surrounding property are gorgeous. There was plenty of space for 4 families to comfortably relax. And we had all the amenities we needed to enjoy our stay. Linda was incredibly helpful and kind. We planned to ski and appreciated how close we were to the ski valley. But because it was so warm, we spent a lot of time just enjoying the creek and other outdoor spaces. Our kids had a ball just running around all day. This home lives fondly in all our hearts.

If you’re looking for a peaceful stay to stargaze at night this is your spot. I was worried about the cold temps outside it was 20 degrees most nights. The house stayed at a perfect temp and the beds were warm, super comfortable and cozy. It’s kinda out there so come prepared with food and snacks. 20 mins to Taos and 40 mins to the mountain. Don’t forget a trip to Ojo Caliente!

This is our 3rd time visiting here, first time with little snow around and we are already talking about when we can come back. Its an absolute beautiful place both in the winter and spring. Being secluded and backed up to tons of BLM land with unlimited hiking opportunities right outside the front door is so great for any outdoors enthusiast. The home it self is beautiful and truly feels like an earth ship that's built into the surrounding rock itself which is just incredible. The pure tap water from the natural spring will have you wanting to come back on its own!Right between Taos and Angle fire there is tons to do and see from shopping, hiking, hot springs, fishing, skiing in the winter and so much more. Garrett is a genuine great soul and we appreciate him sharing this slice of heaven with us and anyone who is able. Can't wait to go back!

This was our third time staying here and it was just as great as the first two stays! Will definitely stay again.

My mother lives in the area so I traveled with my daughter and grandson; we each had our own "dome"! My 5-year-old grandson enjoyed playing the piano, walking the grounds and swinging on the hammock. He was never bored! We explored the Rio Grande Gorge and took several day trips into Taos. At night the domes were a perfect retreat - the area is very peaceful. The art inside is beautiful. It is an older home and has some evidence as such, however it did not affect our stay at all. I would definitely stay again!!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this charming, spacious, artistically decorated home. With stunning mountain views, convenient access to Taos, the ski valley, and local cultural offerings, we could not have been more pleased. We would love to stay here again!

Had the most relaxing weekend at the Moon House! It was perfect for a solo trip. The bed was super comfortable and the space was homey and cute. The location was only a 5 minute drive to the Plaza! Besides the great location and space, Elizabeth was so helpful. The wifi wasn’t working when I arrived and she immediately called Verizon and then went to the Verizon store and got it fixed. It was so kind and made for a cozy weekend to watch movies on the Roku TV. Would definitely stay here again! I definitely recommend driving out to Ojo Caliente Spa to try the mineral hot springs.

This house, and location, are magical! I had an amzing time here with my family: stargazing on the rooftop deck with coyotes yapping in the distance, beautiful sunsets, <10 minute to natural hot springs on the bank of the Rio Grande. The house us also just so cool, like an art filled desert castle! Comfy and quiet, close to Taos dining and shopping. I hope to come back.

This place was immaculate. You can tell the attention to detail in many ways. We called this the Ritz Carlton of Earthships!

I must share how impressively well and warmly this place is hosted! It is perfectly provisioned - anything I reached for was there, and I didn’t have to hunt for it because it was so intuitively, intentionally placed. The thought and care for beauty, space, simplicity and ease is not only apparent, but like a hug to a traveler. Thank you so much for putting love into the care you give through hosting! It is undeniably clean which helps me feel confident about using the space and items within it, which in turn has a relaxing effect. Real love in your efforts gives me ease in mine. Thank you!

We loved staying at the Earthship. It was quiet, peaceful, and there was a beautiful view of the mountains from every location in the house. We loved the back porch, the sauna, the wood burning stoves, the big bathtub, and the indoor and outdoor gardens. The house is amazing to live in because it is really crafted in every detail. Taos Ski Valley is a half hour drive from the house, and there is hiking from the property and numerous trails within driving distance. The hosts were kind and responsive and helped us when we ran into one issue in the kitchen. Be prepared for high altitude and dry air. The altitude took some adjustment - we needed to take it easy for a couple of days since we are from sea level, but the level is perfectly situated below Taos Ski Valley so we had no trouble skiing after acclimating. For the dry air, drink lots of water, use lots of lip balm, and try a humidifier for nights. This was the most beautiful place we have ever stayed.

We really enjoyed our anniversary stay at the casita, it was easily one of our favorites. Felt right at home with our pup, the location was plenty private, great for some skiing and accessing all the wonderful things Taos has to offer. Host was incredibly responsive and made us feel very welcome!

Dos Alamos was Amazing! The house was beautiful and had everything we needed for a longer stay. It was clean and so comfortable. The views of the mountains and valley and unbelievable peacefulness made our stay wonderful. It’s close to Arroyo Seco, easy drive to Taos and to Taos Ski Valley. Bryan and Leslie were incredibly helpful and responsive. We enjoyed being able to walk the dog right from the house and having access to so many trails within easy driving distance. We fell in love with this area and wouldn’t hesitate to come back and stay again.
