Great stay! Perfect place to stay when skiing at Taos.

This was a wonderful place for a getaway in nature. 30ish minutes from both Taos and Ojo Caliente, and about an hour from Taos Ski Valley. We had a lovely time staying at the Q House and the Casita, and enjoyed walking around the beautiful property. Beds were comfortable, and there was a lot of good cookware for making meals. We’ll definitely be back for our next stay in the Taos area!

We have been coming to Taos for over 26 years now and have stayed at various hotels, bed & breakfasts, etc. We loved this casita! It is a 30 minute drive to Taos Ski Valley, walking distance to shops and restaurants, across the street from Michael's Kitchen... The casita was extra clean and had everything we needed, including privacy space for a teenage boy! Leslie and her husband were so friendly and helpful, and they were so welcoming to our two dogs. We can't wait to stay here again! Thanks again for having us!

Ben was an excellent and responsive communicator. Google maps took me right to his place in the dark. The space was very open, one large room with bed and living room furnishings and a kitchen. Think a very good sized rectangle area with a separate bathroom. Beautifully decorated with a southwest vibe. The views outside were of hills and mountains. The outside space was inviting. I would definitely stay here again if in the area. Thank you Ben.

We had a lovely stay! The house has a great layout, and we had cozy fires every evening. There were many lovely architectural and art touches throughout. It's very private and also an easy walk to town. The wifi was rock solid, making it possible to remote work. The kitchen was amazingly well stocked. We had coffee available to us the entire stay and a few other basic necessities that made it possible for us to feel right at home. Our adult son joined us and slept in the double day bed, which also had a dedicated closet and bathroom. We would wholeheartedly recommend the house and hope to be back! Sarita was an amazing host who welcomed us with a delicious banana bread. La Casita is very near to some amazing hikes, a well stocked cooperative, and several wineries. This is a relaxing lovely house that had everything we needed and more.

The setting was private and the apartment was spacious. Located on beautiful grounds. Kitchen was well equipped. The caretakers Teri and David were very pleasant.

We will absolutely stay there again. So many restaurants and things to do with walking distance. Very comfortable living space. Leslie was on site and very friendly and helpful.

Perfect location for a small group. Close enough to the ski resort and remote enough to relax. Very basic and clean. Had a wonderful time.

We loved staying at the guesthouse! We really liked the layout and found the home very comfortable, spacious, and relaxing with lots of space. The upper deck and lower patio were awesome pretty much any time of day. Close to town, but felt quiet and private. Would definitely stay here again!

Our stay at Stephanie’s place was top notch! She was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Everything was clean, nice, and very easy to figure out. I really loved the space with windows light and especially the heated floors. It all made the space feel extremely cozy. The living area was waayyy bigger than I thought it would be, it felt so spacious, especially with the tall ceilings. We came to ski, but honestly the living area with the light and views made us want to just hang out at the house all day. The location was only a few minutes drive to Taos and it felt very peaceful and private, it felt like you could just breathe and enjoy being out in New Mexico. I would definitely recommend this place if you are considering it.

The owner, Richard, was easy to work with and helpful. We appreciated his quick responses. Cute and nicely decorated place, located in a quiet, rural neighborhood. Drive to town is easy and quick. Heated floors kept us nice and warm during the cold nights. It was clean and kitchen is well equipped with cooking/baking items. Nice water pressure in shower which we always appreciate. Sleeping is for two (queen size bed). Owners live nearby. We highly recommend this casita.

We loved our stay. This was a unique experience with the art and modern design. Neat house, stunning serene, and we hope to be back. Patricia was very responsive and helpful. Also, we got dumped on with snow on our last night. Patricia's husband was nice enough to clear a path to our vehicle. The road were plowed and we had no problems once we were on the road. Close to town and the Rio Grande Gorge Bridge. Great stay.

I had a lovely stay! The space was super cute, larger than I imagined, and very clean. It had everything I needed to make my stay comfortable. Kelly reached out to be sure I was warm enough since it had been freezing temperatures outside. She provided more wood for the wood burning stove and that made all the difference. She is a very attentive host. I appreciated all the options on sheets, blankets, and kitchen linens. The place was also only a half mile from the hot springs resort which made it super convenient. The only advice for other guests is to be sure you come with all the food and supplies you need as there isn’t a grocery or general store in the tiny town. Thankfully I was prepared.

Jennifer’s place had everything I needed for a few days’ stay while helping a friend out in Taos. It was very well appointed and the location was convenient. Jennifer was also a great host - very attentive and took care of a minor check in inconvenience right away!

The space is a sort of bonus room/apartment above the detached garage. Its at once private but also not so isolated as to feel lonely. The area is beautiful and the hosts are 10 stars. The apartment is darn near perfectly appointed. We used it as a couple to be nearby another group in a house nearby (everyone was skiing at Taos for the week). Its a great space - spacious, comfortable - just great. As other commenters have mentioned the two cats are a terrific bonus - they are really friendly and engaging (they will sit outside the window staring at you all day, very funny). I have a mild cat allergy and it was zero issue - the cats do not come inside and I had no issues. The view on the front porch of this apartment is beautiful. This is definitely not a place for anyone with mobility issues. You climb two flights of stairs with no alternative access. Meanwhile the space is probably due for an update (e.g. carpet getting a bit worn), but that is a minor concern.

It was a beautiful place to stay but it was not completely clean. There was open food, dirt, and dirty rags in the bathroom.

This place is a gem! We felt soo at home and well taken care of from the minute we arrived. Jerry is an amazing host and a great cook, and has stories from all over the world! Wish we could have stayed all summer:-)) The apartment was soo cozy and cute, spotlessly clean, with details and so well equipped, really out of the ordinary! The yard and property is beautiful with amazing views to the mountains and fields. We slept so well and the tranquility and silence made this a unique stay! Jerry’s breakfasts was superb, what a treat!!! Thank you for making us feel like family!! Hope to come back in the future:-)

We stayed at the casita and was what was promised. There was enough space for 4 people and a full fridge with a microwave. The only negative was the track lighting didn’t work so it was pretty dark inside but other than that was a cute little casita and close to downtown and about 30 minutes from Taos ski valley and about 40 minutes from sipapu and red river

Mercedes place is absolutely gorgeous and in such a cute part of Taos. What was stunning was all her pottery – the dishes cups, sugar bowl, etc. it was like being inside in an art gallery!

Ellen was a wonderful host--from the very beginning of our reservation on through recommendations and her always ready availability. Her place is special: bed, desk, kitchen, bath--all most comfortable. Her property is more than special: small creek with walkable path, great deck with wonderful mountain and valley views. We've stayed at a number of bnbs in US and abroad. Ellen and her place are tops.

The location was fantastic! Lots of great restaurants and shops just a few minutes walk, and galleries too - including Inger’s right next door. Highly recommended for its peaceful setting and colorful artistic decor. Very comfortable place to relax.

The Casita is a charming, cozy, peaceful hideaway in the woods, with a private fenced-in yard that my little dogs enjoyed. I watched from the kitchen as they quietly explored outside, sipping my coffee while gentle rays of morning sunlight poured in through the windows. Our stay at the Casita was filled with such unexpected, blissful, therapeutic moments! Janet provided helpful information about the area and supplied everything we needed to be comfortable.
