I didn’t want to leave Suzanna’s place! This is the only way to visit Fez — staying in an authentic riad. The beauty really can’t be quantified in photos or in a review. It was perfect. A couple of points: 1) Another review mentioned stairs being steep but I did not find this to be true. There are stairs, like in any riad, but they weren’t as numerous or as steep as most other places in Morocco, in my opinion. 2) This is not “hotel perfect” — and you wouldn’t want it to be. The home breathes history… things like worn tiles are the quirks that convey its long rich life. It is a privilege to stay in a place like this. 3) If offered, get the breakfast! It was really nice to have that. I’d stay a thousand more times. Don’t hesitate!

Un excellent Riad et d’excellents hôtes !! L’accueil a été chaleureux et très professionnel, ils sont aux petits soins pour chacune de vos demandes. Leurs recommandations sont excellentes et le lieu est magique, calme et paisible. Nous y sommes allés pendant l’hiver mais les chambres sont bien chauffées, les infrastructures sont neuves et de qualités (hammam, jacuzzi…). La terrasse donne une vue sur toute la médina et est très bien arborée (jasmin, oliviers…) Nous ne voulions plus partir Merci encore Abdelali, Omar et toute l’équipe !! À très vite inchallah !

Ich hatte das Vergnügen, einige Tage in dieser charmanten Unterkunft zu verbringen und kann sie uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Die Lage ist einfach unschlagbar – zentral gelegen, ermöglicht sie einen bequemen Zugang zu allen wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten und lokalen Attraktionen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die außergewöhnliche Freundlichkeit des Gastgebers. Von der ersten Kontaktaufnahme bis zum Check-out fühlte ich mich bestens betreut. Der Gastgeber stand jederzeit für Fragen zur Verfügung. Diese persönliche Note machte meinen Aufenthalt besonders angenehm. Die Unterkunft selbst war makellos sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es war offensichtlich, dass viel Wert auf Details gelegt wurde, um den Gästen ein heimeliges Gefühl zu vermitteln. Alle notwendigen Annehmlichkeiten waren vorhanden, und das Bett war äußerst komfortabel – ich habe selten so gut geschlafen. Insgesamt war mein Aufenthalt hier ein echtes Highlight.

This is a unique house created with intelligence and love. On the edge of the Fes medina it’s close to the buzz but far enough to be peaceful. We stayed 3 weeks in January with no need for a car. We had full sun and blue skies except for 1 day. We swam in the beautiful big pool everyday ( it was very cold, we are from northern Europe). It was chilly before 10am and after 6pm but the terrace and garden get plenty of sun. The bedrooms are all a generous size. Only 3 are en-suite. The dining room and communal lounge were a squeeze for our party of 9, it would be easier to enjoy the house on warmer days. This is a home not an hotel and more relaxed for it. Sanae the manager of the house is a warm, kind person we had the privilege to meet. She made us soup and prescribed cures for aches and pains. The memory of the beautiful garden, lemon trees, orange trees, olives and cacti will keep us warm for the rest of our winter.

Very nice and quiet place in the center of Fes. Service is perfect and breakfast is good. This place is highly recommended.

I truly loved Fez and the Riad was wonderful, warm, authentic, and a terrific location. Aazma, the hostess and the rest of the staff, were exemplary. Highly recommend.

Unreal experience. Place is better than the photos and Abdellatif was very helpful. 10/10, made our experience so much less stressful and helped us print out our boarding passes. Tour guide and private taxi’s for cheap as well (paid $75 for 10 people, taxi and tour).
