My wife and I spent two weeks in French Polynesia, and visited four islands. Raiatea was our favourite and Thierry and his place are what truly made the difference. The location is stunning, with a beautiful deck right on the ocean, and the possibility to snorkel or kayak in the lagoon. The bungalow is exactly as described, it has a tropical and authentic vibe and has everything you need for a lovely stay. But the best thing was Thierry himself. He went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and to share his culture and his knowledge of the place. He took us to a nearby motu for a fantastic morning of snorkelling and spearfishing, and made us some lovely meals. During our stay, we were also lucky to meet his family, and he invited us to join them for dinner as if we were part of them. Should we go back to Raiatea in the future, we have no doubt we will be staying at Le Noha again!

This place was just as advertised; we had a great time! If you are looking for a hopping nightlife and the bustle of town, this rental might not be right for you. If you are looking for a beautiful private secluded beach with easy access to kayak to the motu or snorkel the reef right out your front door, then this is the place for you. We had a great time snorkeling, kayaking, visiting the motu, watching the sun set and lightning strike when it was raining, and generally enjoyed the privacy and natural beauty Raiatea has to offer. We rented a car for some of our stay and crused the island to find a short hike here and there and we visited the pearl farm on the other side of the island. I recommend this site without any reservations as long as a quiet get away is your goal.

A great place to stay! Serge is super helpful with lots of local knowledge. Having access to bikes and kayaks was awesome. our accomodation was right on the water. We loved our stay and would stay again.

One of those places where you arrive as a guest and leave as a friend. An unforgettable stay for the whole family that will remain long as oustanding souvenir. Kids loved jumping in the water from the pier just across the road, easy ride to the shop by bike to get a fresh baguette in the morning, and so much to see and do around the island! You can go there eyes closed for a great stay, we would love to come back some time in the future!

Nous avons passé un séjour incroyable à Taha’a ! La maison est tout simplement superbe, spacieuse, décorée avec goût et parfaitement située au bord de l’eau. Se réveiller chaque matin face au lagon a été un vrai bonheur. Le cadre est paisible, idéal pour se ressourcer et profiter de la beauté de l’île. L’accueil était chaleureux et tout était parfaitement propre et bien équipé. Nous recommandons cet Airbnb les yeux fermés à tous ceux qui souhaitent vivre une expérience authentique et inoubliable à Taha’a. Un grand merci pour ce merveilleux séjour !

Bungalow number 3 was everything we hoped for! Quiet, clean and comfortable. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. They were quick to respond to all questions. We were able to snorkel right off the dock. Ample parking. Recommend renting a car and grabbing groceries on the way. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils and pans and such!

Merci pour le confort, la propreté 'et les petites attentions dans le logement. Cpuchers de soleil spectaculaires. Lagon et baignades merveilleux. Super emplacement en face du motu accessible en kayak mis à disposition.

5 nuits passées à Raiatea chez Martine. Le logement est à - de 5minutes du port en voiture, tout confort et spacieux. Il est très bien équipé avec en + les kayaks pour les sorties mer sur le motu public pour voir le récif et se faire un pic nic! La communication est top avec des hôtes super reactifs et gentils. Encore merci pour ce moment passé sur votre île.

The best thing was the location to the ocean. The water was shockingly warm, crystal clear, lots of colourful fish and some coral close to shore. The entrance gate worked perfectly and having an automated key fob to use was so helpful. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was great. Loved eating outside on the covered deck, great to have an outside clothes line as well. We used the hammock (shared with sister Airbnb rental next door on the property) and the shared kayaks.
