A warm, cosy and very hospitable house in Brodick. The property was the epitome warmth and cosiness, had ample space and the layout and spec of the kitchen was brilliant. It is ideally located to explore Brodick, Lochranza, Lamlash and other bits of Arran - also walking distance from Auchrannie hotel and spa. We had no complaints at all about Jane’s property - it really contributed to a great stay in Arran and we would thoroughly recommend anyone looking to visit the island to consider using it. Jane herself was very proactive and responsive providing helpful local knowledge and recommendations as well as a flexible check out time if required.

We spent 2 nights at the lodge, great location, easy to find. It was just a pleasure just to sit there and admire the view. Peaceful and calm surroundings will let you rest and charge your batteries. Place spotless clean, spacious and warm.

Beautiful stay for 4 nights with 2 under 10year olds. House is clean and tidy, lovely big showers and bath. Downstairs shower room handy for after the hot tub. Tea, coffee and a fire laid for arrival which was a lovely touch. Almost everything you might need in the kitchen (missing an ice cube tray, colander and matches for the fire although theres so much kit might have missed those) Views are just stunning, from every window. We visited in late October, house stayed warm. Short stroll into Kinlochleven. Coop has plenty of things and open 7 days a week. It was off season, but the take away cafe next door, chinese and pub were open. We also went to the seafood cafe about 15min drive away which closes for the season in November, but is friendly and good food, a lunch time here would be amazing with views of the loch. We did the walk up to the falls from the village which is well sign posted. And walks along the river. Really enjoyed our stay thank you.

We had a fantastic stay here. The location was perfect, we enjoyed walking into the Harbour town which was lovely and not far to get to on foot. The place had everything we needed and we certainly enjoyed the use of the wood burner at the end of a days walking. Would certainly stay again 😊

We had a positive stay overall. The flat had everything you would need. The kitchen was well equipped, there was plenty of space and the beds were comfortable. The host was great at communicating and the instructions for entry were clear. There was a handy book which gave further instructions on how to use things in the flat as well as on the local area. At first the flat/beds were a little chilly but that is more the Scottish weather and maybe if it hadn’t been occupied for a few days before. We were able to heat the flat adequately once we were in. We enjoyed our stay.

Wir hatten als Familie (eine Tochter, 4 Jahre) einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt im Pinemarten Chalet. Die Unterkunft ließ von Ausstattung und Lage nichts zu wünschen übrig und war idealer Ausgangspunkt für unsere Unternehmungen in den südlichen Highlands. Mit dem Mietwagen sind viele verschiedene Sehenswürdigkeiten, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (kleinere Shops aller Art beim Green Welly Stop in Tyndrum, größerer Supermarkt in Killin), Startpunkte für Wanderungen und andere Ausflugsziele gut erreichbar. Der kleine Laden im Portnellan Holiday-Park (mit mehreren Häusern in verschiedenen Größen) bietet zudem auf kurzem Fußweg das Nötigste auch auf kurzem Fußweg und Ausleih-Möglichkeiten für Bücher, Spiele und Filme. Die Ausstattung war perfekt, der Blick auf den Ben More von der Terrasse ist zu jeder Tageszeit und bei (fast) jedem Wetter einfach traumhaft. Die Kommunikation mit Lucy und Cameron klappte hervorragend, sogar Eier von Enten und Hühnern konnten direkt bestellt werden ;). We'll be back!

The place felt like home away from home… everything was perfect and intact, my family had a good time with no complain whatsoever. The Furnitures, utensils and amenities were perfectly fitted for our stay. The environment is calm and peaceful…
