If you are planning on spending more than a week in Rome but do not want to reside in any tourist area, look no further than Antonia’s absolutely fantastic home in Garbatella!!!! The bedrooms (three!) are all spacious and well-lit. The bathrooms provide everything one needs, including a washing machine! We cooked several of our meals in her well-appointed kitchen as it contained everything one needs, including a huge refrigerator by Italian standards and a dishwasher! The BEST part however is Antonia herself! Fantastic communication throughout our stay and the most generous of persons, even dropping off fresh Italian pastries one morning! 5-minute walk to the metro; fantastic cheese and meat shop around the corner; 12-minute walk to the train 🚂 station and all in a vibrant neighborhood of true Italy!

At the entrance to Piazza de Popolo, this apartment welcomes you to Rome the same way that Keats, Gerte, Hans Christian Andersen and others entered Rome, with all its magnificence and history. In many ways, this apartment echos the grandeur of all who have come before it, while also providing the comfort and simplicity needed by guests who come to visit this incredible city. At the end of the day, you want a peaceful place to think, breathe, and sleep. The beds are perfect, the windows (when closed) keep out the city noise) and the loftiness of the rooms provide space to breathe. I know we will rerun again and again to this very special apartment—unless it is booked because of this review! This is a truly special location.

Perfect for two people and great location!

Just spent 3 wonderful nights in this beautiful family home. Lots of space for 7 of us and all the facilities we needed. Comfortable beds, excellent WiFi, well equipped kitchen and located in a lovely central area of Rome. Walkable to many good restaurants and bars. As mentioned, it can get noisy in the late evening but we had ear plugs so it wasn’t an issue. Highly recommend this apartment and we would all return in a heartbeat!

We had a great stay at Maria Teresa's place! The location is just fantastic, close to everything and the Metro, very peaceful at night. We were a family of four, with 2 teenagers. It was the perfect amount of space for us all, giving us a great space to start and end our days, and retire to between site seeing. Its a beautiful, fully vintage space on the almost top floor, we made use of all of it, from the small balcony looking onto the courtyard behind the apt to the private patio. It looks just like the pictures -- its cozy and welcoming. The bathrooms and kitchen were perfectly clean, the beds really comfortable, everything we needed was available. Maria Teresa and her colleague Karina got us settled quickly and gave fantastic recommendations for restaurants -- these were terrific and really made our stay 10+. Its situated in a very high end part of Rome, for the price and location, it can't really be beat. We were just sad to leave and are planning our next trip to Italy soon!

L’alloggio é davvero bellissimo, curato nei minimi dettagli, ampio, con una terrazza splendida (sfruttabile in qualsiasi stagione). Unico piccolissimo difetto, che poi si trasformerà in un enorme pregio, é la sua posizione… se non si conosce la città di Roma, la prima volta non è semplice da trovare, persino Google Maps aveva difficoltà… ma una volta trovato, sarà nella posizione perfetta per visitare il centro storico ! Soprattutto, offrendo una terrazza splendida, é in grado di regalarti relax e benessere dopo una lunga giornata ! Consiglio vivamente questo alloggio ! Ideale per qualsiasi tipologia di viaggiatore !

Ricardo ist ein wirklich zuvorkommender, freundlicher und aufgeschlossener Gastgeber, der sich um alles gekümmert hat. Die Gegend ist sehr ruhig und abgeschieden und genau richtig, um aus dem Alltagsstress zu entfliehen. Während unseres Aufenthaltes streiften allerhand Tiere über das Grundstück wie Wildschweine, Fasane, Stachelschweine und Rehe. Die Hütte hatte keine Nachbarn und man ist vollkommen in der Natur der Toskana. Ich kann die Hütte vollkommen empfehlen. Einzige kleine Abstriche sind dass der Pool schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist und nicht mehr so frisch wie auf den Fotos aussieht und dass die Sauna etwas verzogen ist, wodurch an vielen Stellen Wind in die Sauna zieht und man relativ lange benötigt an kalten Tagen die Sauna und den Whirlpool anzuheizen.

Excellent location to access the Vatican and surrounding area! The Castel D’Angelo was a great site to visit as well. Great food nearby. Some tv noise from the neighbors and the train station nearby so bring earplugs! Loved that this was also on the first floor, not a ton of stairs to climb. Thank you for providing breakfast goodies too!

Really enjoyed our Stay at Eduardo’s place. Beds were amazing and rooms can be dark for when you want to sleep. Apartment is on one short flight of stairs so easy to get in. There’s a balcony area at the top that is accessible. There’s also plenty of rooms and 2 bathrooms for convenience. It is a little bit outside city center but the peacefulness at night makes it worth it. There’s also a foosball and ping pong table that my kids really enjoyed. My only complaints were that there’s no dishwasher and one of the showers spills a lot of water out that is not worth using since floors get all wet…also main bathroom sink and toilets need adjustment, besides that, it’s a great place and we slept amazing!

Our stay was fantastic. The space was cozy and spacious. Everything needed to make for a great stay was included. The outdoor area was a big hit for our two dogs and access to the lake was perfect. We enjoyed it so much, we extended our stay.

L’alloggio è conforme alla descrizione e perfetto per una vacanza in assoluto relax. Posizione ottimale per raggiungere l’Argentario e nel contempo godere al rientro di un silenzio ed un panorama fantastico. L’appartamento è molto curato e pulito, Denise è un host superlativa, siamo stati molto molto soddisfatti.

Renato è stato molto disponibile, il suo alloggio molto spazioso è ben posizionato e in una zona molto tranquilla. Ideale per gruppi o famiglie anche numerose!

La ubicación del departamento es inigualable, literalmente a una cuadra del Coliseo y muy cerca del todas las otras atracciones.. Pamino muy amable y el acceso muy sencillo. Ampliamente recomendable.

Ho alloggiato da Paolo 4 giorni appartamento molto spazioso e confortevole vicinissimo alla metro (20 m),Paolo molto simpatico e amichevole .Consigliatissimo.

Abbiamo soggiornato durante le vacanze natalizie, la zona è ottima, comoda per visitare a piedi l'intero centro storico di Roma, ma allo stesso tempo molto silenzioso. L'alloggio è dotato di tutto il necessario ed è confortevole per ospitare una famiglia di 5 persone. Giuliana è stata d'aiuto per qualsiasi occorrenza, spesso proattiva nei suoi consigli.

Solid location - grocery store nearby, awesome gelato (Terra was great), easy access to Metro stops. A few things to note: The apartment is even bigger than the photos show. Comfortable beds. It was quite noisy outside at night and the window panes are thin. But we slept with either ear plugs or a sound machine and slept fine. We did have one request while we were there and it took the host around 6+ hours to respond. The kitchen is great! Well stocked! Overall, it was a great stay and the apartment is lovely.

Abbiamo passato la settimana di Ferragosto in questa residenza da sogno nel mezzo dell'Umbria. L'host, molto gentile e reattiva, ci ha messo in contatto con la persona che gestisce la casa, Elisabetta, che ha saputo fornirci tutte le indicazioni richieste ed aiutarci in tutto. Abbiamo trovato la casa in ottime condizioni, è molto spaziosa ed accogliente, con diverse opzioni tra barbecue e cucine. La zone è molto affascinante, in quanto si trova tra le colline umbre e permette di visitare i fantastici paesini intorno (consigliato portarsi la macchina). Infine la piscina era pulita giornalmente da Valerio, che si prendeva cura anche delle piante nel giardino e si occupava di svuotare la spazzature (grazie mille ancora). Per concludere, soggiorno più che piacevole.

Antonio ist ein sehr netter Gastgeber, der sich immer um das Haus und seine Gäste kümmert. Die 4 Wohnungen waren sehr gut und auch praktisch für unseren Gruppenurlaub. Parkplätze gibt es mehr als genug auf dem Grundstück, da Autos auch Pflicht sind um zum Haus zu gelangen. Des Weiteren ist der Pool sehr gut und auch sehr groß. Genug Platz um viel Spaß zu haben. Antonio kam mehrfach um den Pool auch zu reinigen, was sehr gut war. Gut wären noch weitere Schattenmöglichkeiten wie Schirme oder ein weiterer Pavilion da man die sonst vorher mitnehmen muss.

We hebben een fijne tijd gehad met vrienden in Tarano. De communicatie liep vlot, het huis was in orde, de airco was een pluspunt en het zwembad was zeer aangenaam. 1 klein minpunt: er zijn geen parasols aanwezig zoals zichtbaar op de foto’s. Zeker een aanrader om hier te vertoeven.

The house is absolutely fantastic, nestled in the middle of olive trees with onbustructed views of the countryside and nobody else at sight! The house is cozy, familiar and everything is there to make you feel at home! Each room is spacious, clean and comfortable to enjoy magnificent Umbria! Flaminia is really helpful and Sergio’s occasional presence is very helpful! We seriously enjoyed our time at the house being a party of 6 with 2 kids! The garden and the swimming pool were absolutely superb! The overall experience was absolutely marvelous!

Siamo stati 3 giorni e ci siamo veramente rilassati, l’alloggio vale il prezzo…. C’era tutto il necessario. Personale sempre disponibile! Grazie mille, torneremo sicuramente!

We loved Sabrina's place! The house was beautiful and property was so peaceful. Everything was like the pictures, plenty of space for 6 of us (4 adults + 2 children). Sabrina gave us great recommendations for local restaurants and things to do that were a short drive into town, and she was extremely responsive via whats app for our other questions throughout our stay. We did a day trip into Montepulciano - 1.5 hr drive away so very conveniently located. Would love to be able to stay here again if we make it back to Italy!

A truly magical experience and the perfect place to stay. We spent 5 nights in this special house with the most breathtaking views. A wonderful place to stay and explore the local area. The house is equipped with everything you need and more. The personalised meet and greet was a lovely way to start our stay. You will not be disappointed if you choose to book this beautiful house. We hope to return again.

After a stressful airport journey it was nice to meet Alessandro’s mother who welcomed us and showed us around the place. It is a very warm and intimate place - perfect for 2 people. The area has walkable grocery stores, restaurants and cafe’s and a beautiful mall within a 10 minute drive. Although it was nice to stay in February, I would definitely recommend visiting in the summer time :))
