A casa é exatamente como nas fotografias, uma construção de madeira em que nada foi deixado ao acaso e que está repleta de pequenos detalhes e pormenores reveladores do amor e carinho com que foi construída e apreciada. Como qualquer casa de madeira, já vai mostrando pequenos pontos a precisar de manutenção, mas nada de grave. A vista da casa no alpendre exterior é deslumbrante e foi precisamente o que mais adorámos. Ficar no exterior à noite, a observar a imensidão do céu estrelado e em silêncio, apenas com o som do mar, foi igualmente agradável. Casa perfeita para nos acolher com a nossa família. Partimos com muita vontade de regressar por mais dias. Pequenos eletrodomésticos em falta podem melhorar a experiência (chaleira ou cafeteira). No terreno contíguo da casa está a ser construída uma nova habitação, o que retira privacidade ao alpendre. Os trabalhadores são respeitosos e não começam a fazer barulho muito cedo.

This is where you want to be! Pool large enough for short laps. The house is huge! Lucas' relatives are across the driveway and very helpful with issues. Expect some family activity, but other times completely quiet, and we had the pool to ourselves whenever we used it. Rental car needed.

Hanspeter war ein zuvorkommender Gastgeber und wir sind dankbar für seine tatkräftige organisatorische Unterstützung bereits im Vorfeld unserer Reise. Die Bungalows sind sehr hübsch eingerichtet und äusserst sauber. Sie befinden sich am Ortsrand, zum Strand sind es nur wenige Gehminuten und Abends herrscht etwas mehr Ruhe, als in der Dorfmitte. Wer Erholung und Ruhe gepaart mit warmen Klima sucht, wird von Maio und Hanspeter nicht enttäuscht sein!

Das Haus ist sehr hübsch, etwas ab vom Schuss, wenn es um Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants geht. Aber Jean-Christophe ist sehr entgegenkommend und unterstützt am ersten Tag mit dem Einkauf. Betten sind etwas durchgelegen.

Gentillement Bernard a accepté de venir nous chercher gratuitement à notre hébergement précédent. Il nous a logé dans une maison plus grande très agréable. Valérie et Bernard font tout pour que notre séjour soit agréable :prêt de vélos, conseils avisés, nous avons beaucoup apprécié la visite chez son ami Raphaël Colicci qui a fondé la ferme d'agroforesterie Maioasis :un projet extraordinaire pour développer des fermes autonomes à but social et solidaire sur l'île de Maio.

Logement très agréable, bien placé et très propre sur la magnifique île de Maio. Nous sommes arrivés à 9h du matin et avons pu directement accéder au logement avec un transport inclus depuis le port. La piscine à débordement est très bien entretenue et permet de contempler parfaitement le couché de soleil. Un accès à une plage privée est également présent et permet une extrême tranquillité.

La grande maison de Sofia est un havre de paix. Elle est typique, en pierre recouverte d'un couche de chaux blanche. L'environnement est paisible, nous étions entourés de gens très sympathiques, de gentils chiens, chats, et de quelques poules et coqs. La cuisine est assez bien équipée pour se préparer quelques repas. La terrasse est très belle, avec beaucoup de plantes, avec une belle vue sur la mer pas très loin. La literie est confortable, tout comme le grand salon. Il faut une petite vingtaine de minutes pour gagner à pied le centre du beau et typique village de Cidade Velha où l'on trouve de quoi se ravitailler et de bons restaurants. Le petit-déjeuner est bon et complet. Et que dire du superbe accueil de Sofia et de Vany, pas grand chose à part fantastique ! Elles se mettent en quatre pour vous et cherchent à vous faire plaisir et à vous assurer un bon séjour. Bref, une bien belle adresse !

Quelle belle surprise d’être aussi bien accueillis par Fatima, Joseanna, Deerajh et leur équipe ! Un air de famille bien agréable dans ce sanctuaire végétal magnifique, jardin tropical où la biodiversité est préservée farouchement depuis tant d’années. Mr Darwin serait fière de ce projet familial. De beaux partages, des sourires, des attentions pour nous guider o mieux sur l’île de Santiago méconnue par les touristes . Tant de belles choses à découvrir avant d’aller sur les autres îles … l’excellente cuisine Cap Verdienne de Fatima 🤗 les petits déjeuners resteront une découverte pour nous ! Notre logis : immersion dans le jardin tropical vue superbe sur les montagnes 🤗⛰️ il nous a été difficile de repartir de Ecocentro pour retrouver la grisaille de Paris 🥲 Notre conseil : allez vite découvrir ce trésor !

Patricia and her husband offer a magnificent house with the most beautiful view! The apartment offered everything we needed - a pool, quiet rooms, a well equipped kitchen and an outdoor BBQ and all support we could think of of Patricia and her staff. All in all: we had a wonderful stay in Maio, it is really an island to calm down, enjoy nature, sun and the sea. Thanks a lot!

Wir hatten eine großartige Zeit in Maio in der Villa Lemon. Kann es von ganzem Herzen weiter empfehlen. Ruhig, sauber, toller Pool, wunderschöner Blick, tolle Villa. Patricia ist sehr sympathisch und jederzeit erreichbar, um jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen. Vielen Dank für Alles! Marion und Rudolf

The unit is just as shown in the pictures. Very nice and clean place. New Development. Building seems to be very safe. A key is needed for the main door to access inside in the building. Safety and security was big for me and this place did feel secure. The cleaning lady was amazing and helpful. Rooftop is shared so laundry is left to dry up there but I never had any issues with my neighbors. Only downsides were the water did run out and we did not have any running water for a few hours. The master bedroom door did lock on it’s own and would not open, there was an issue with the handle it came loose and was not operating properly. Besides those two hiccups I enjoyed my time there. I stayed for about 15 days and felt at home.

Absolutely adored this place! My parents and I enjoyed the quiet apartment, the security was always very friendly, the whole building felt super safe. The pool was extremely pleasant and easy access. The apartment itself is a lot bigger than we thought so that was a pleasant surprise. The hosts are very responsive and friendly. Would love to come back! 🥰

Maison correspondant à la description. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir et Eunice nous a grandement aidée pour toutes nos demandes

We had a really great time at casa strela. We arrived from Praia, we rented the apartment and it was perfect. Our own space with amazing sunset view. If we wanted we could have breakfast or dine at the casa strela restaurant but we chose to cook for ourselves. A simple gas kitchen with all amendments. Groceries stores and restaurants walking distance. The host is staying downstairs of the apartment and they were very friendly and welcoming. African vibes ✨

Emplacement incroyable, la vue est à couper le souffle, malgré le vent de février grâce aux grandes baies vitrées nous avons pu vraiment profiter. Fabrice et Elodie ont été super accueillants, avec des petits enfants c’était très chouette. C’est en effet très roots mais le logement offre le minimum nécessaire. Ça nous convenait. Le village est juste a bonne échelle, avec deux épiceries et gargote. Pas mal de trucs à faire pas loin. Je conseille pour les tous terrains qui cherchent du dépaysement.

Nous avons passé un super séjour dans l’appartement de Matti. C’est un bel espace, bien aménagé et proche de tout.

Ik heb genoten van mijn verblijf. Iolanda, de mama en de dochter Amy zijn super lieve, relaxte mensen. Ik voelde mij er vlug thuis. Het is er zalig rustig. Het enige wat je hoort zijn krekels, ezels en hanen. Het eten is heerlijk, vol van smaak, met liefde gekweekt in hun eigen tuin door de mama en met liefde klaar gemaakt door de meisjes. Het dorp en de vallei zijn boeiend om rond te wandelen. Mooie natuur, bewonderenswaardige authentieke cultuur, stuk voor stuk mooie mensen. Ik ben heel dankbaar voor deze rijke ervaring!

We had the most amazing stay at Iolanda and Johannes airbnb which really is an oasis of piece and quiet in the middle of mango valley! we were late for our check in but Iolanda waited for us and even made us food even though the restaurant was already closed. from the restaurant to the airbnb it is a short 10min walk uphill, which we really enjoyed. the airbnb was simple but very clean and the view from the terrasse was stunning! the food in the restaurant was amazing and there is also wifi. I definetely recommend Iolandas airbnb and I hope to come again. Thank you for everything :)

Huge apartment in good location and well connected to Strela B&B where we got a lot of tips and advices for our stay. The Strela concept works very well in the region. We had a lot great trips and activities in Tarrafal.

Le logement est très correct,les équipements sont bons. Les commerces et la mer sont proches. Mais surtout Maria est exceptionnelle,proche,réactive, sympathique. Excellente pâtissière,elle nous à offert de bon gâteau. On se sent comme chez soi. Son mari parle anglais et un peu le Français. Je recommande cette belle expérience

we had a wonderful stay with our babyboy at Claudinas place. the apartment is amazing, very spacious and well furnished. you can sleep with the sound of waves soothing you. The breakfast was amazing and Claudina was incredible friendly. we also enjoyed the black beach and rock pools nearby, mostly we had them to ourselves. best apartment on the kapverden so far!
