We had a wonderful stay in Maryanne and Michael's house. The place is very cosy, clean and full of character. You can tell that the house was built with care and love. The owners were very kind and flexible. The surrounding area is also incredible with quiet and peaceful lakes and plateaus. I highly recommend!

Naomi was consistently very responsive to questions and concerns. We loved the house—nice layout, comfy bed/pillows, great bathroom with tub set up for enjoying a book (and also a good separate shower), kitchen that allowed us to cook with a generous selection of spices. Convenient to ferry and rest of Bruny. 3 days flew by.

Spent three nights at Lisa's place and never left it! The view from the deck was amazing. The house was clean and tidy and had anything you would need for cooking. Good TV service as well. Did a few walks from the house down to and around the lake. We had a great time there and would recommend it for a break away. The only possible problem for those with low slung 2wd is that it does have a long, fairly steep and rocky drive. We made it up but the wheels were spinning in places. Still had a great time there.

We were here for my wife’s birthday weekend. Michelle was so kind to bring a cute cake to celebrate her. It was such a beautiful gesture. The house is so peaceful and beautiful. It is surrounded with private land so many trees and chickens. We enjoyed morning walk sunrise and sunset. Lots and lots of board games in the house to keep your little one occupied. Over all we had amazing time at Banksia cottage.

We had an amazing stay at this lovely and cozy property. It truly felt like a home away from home—quiet, comfortable, and nestled in a beautiful suburb. The space was impeccably clean, thoughtfully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for a stress-free stay. The check-in process was seamless thanks to the clear instructions provided by the host, who was also incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and delightful getaway. Thank you for hosting us!

Central location with gorgeous view, walk to waterfront and ferry, close to city and airport. Spacious, clean home with nice renovation. Close to fabulous cafes, marina and amazing walks along riverfront.

The house is large, beautiful and well appointed. Google maps will try and send you the wrong way, but the instructions provided clearly explain this. Wasn't quite expecting planes coming in so low, but they weren't an annoyance & the kids loved them. (No planes during the night).
