This location is awesome. We were excited to stay riverside in a private, rural location so we could enjoy a cool swim and let our dogs run around and we were not disappointed. Even better, there are nearby walking trails to an epic waterfall and swimming area and also to a natural hot spring. The accommodations were pretty rustic, which is what we expected since the venue is described as "Glamping," but the place is spacious and we were comfortable and enjoyed cooking and also we enjoyed the traditional meal prepared for us by our host (arranged in advance). Any questions or needs we had were attended to immediately by our hosts. Keep in mind that this property is served by solar energy so you will not find a microwave or other energy-hog small appliances. The drive does require a 4WD vehicle, but it is not a difficult drive and any small sport SUV could handle it. If you like the sound of a rushing river, you will love this place.

This was our first trip to Costa Rica and we didn't know what to expect. It's hard to get a full scope of a place with just photographs. From the moment we walked in the door, I knew we picked the right place. Someone else mentioned that the photos don't do this place justice, and they were spot on. It's airy yet cozy, tranquil but enough space to spread out and have a good time. The location was far enough away from Quepos to give it a country feel but still be able to quickly pick something up for dinner. My only criticism is that the kitchen was not as equipped as I like (we had to get creative with the can opener and the knives were pretty dull) but we managed. I highly recommend Villa Vanilla- it's a biodynamic organic farm 10 minutes away if you are interested in spices or chocolate, they also have ice cream and spice tours. The Magic Bus was our favorite food spot near Manuel Antonio. Rancho Tipico don Juan horseback riding tour was THE Highlight of our trip.

Tout d’abord j’aimerais dire que Rick a toujours été d’une grande réactivité ce qui était très agréable. La maison est très belle et dans un environnement sensationnel. C’est un peu loin des restaurants et commerces mais ça vaut la peine. Ce qui nous a déplu c’est qu’il était impossible de se baigner dans l’océan à cause des vagues et des courants. Nous avons passé un super séjour merci Rick

I love Susana!!! We love her!! She is the best, and so is her beautiful family. Home was great and outdoor living was even better, I cooked outside daily, showered outside with squirrel monkeys, a horse and the jungle and my kid and mom who can’t swim enjoyed the heck out of the pool! You are 15 minutes away from Manuel Antonio. Everything you will need is a walk away from groceries and food. There was nothing we needed she did not accommodate, she was our host, friend, bug killer, chauffeur (cause we couldn’t find her day 1, it was dark and late when we made it, she said stop, send me your location and met up with us and we followed her home), and the best heart and energy!! I genuinely think you are a Rockstar Susana!!! I will always come look for you when I’m in Costa Rica and if you come to Florida call me girl !!!! 💙❤️💙🙏🏽😊🎉🥰

Very nice villa! Comfortable, spacious and very clean. I would definitely stay again with friends or family. The property is beautiful and Kathia was very nice and responsive.

Ik reis veel en deze airbnb was 1 van de beste waar ik ooit geweest ben. De locatie is geweldig. Wat een rust en ruimte. Heerlijk huisje voor jezelf met een zwembad. Vanuit het zwembad heb je een prachtig uitzicht rondom. Alles is goed verzorgd en er was zelfs koffie en thee en in de badkamer shampoo en badschuim. Alba is zeer vriendelijk en legt bij aankomst het eea uit. Verder laat ze je met rust. Ik had gevraagd als zij de toekan in de tuin zag of zij mij wilde roepen en dat deed zij ook wat ik erg lief vond! Het bed slaapt heerlijk en je krijgt voldoende handdoeken. Het is vlakbij 2 grote supermarkten dus ideaal gelegen ondanks dat het een beetje afgelegen is. Wij vonden het erg jammer dat wij weg moesten en hebben een heerlijke tijd gehad. In de tuin zagen wel veel vogels waaronder 2 soorten toekans en veel leguanen. Wij zouden graag een keer terugkomen. Pura Vida

We absolutely loved everything about the place. It was spacious and had everything we needed for our stay. Location-wise, it's about a 10-15 min drive to Quepos/Manuel Antonio, which was perfect for us (we enjoyed the relaxing and tranquil stay away from the busy parts of the city). We really enjoyed the pool and took full advantage of the kitchen and washing/drying facilities (which honestly work better than my machines at home!). Britt was an awesome host, super responsive and even helped set up a Catamaran sunset cruise (highly recommended, this was one of the highlights of our trip!!) as well as a tour of Manuel Antonio park. Britt was also very accommodating regarding our check in/check out. Overall it was a perfect way to end our time in Costa Rica. I would highly recommend!

The house was the perfect place to stay while visiting Manuel Antonio national park, away from the crowds, but not far to drive. We absolutely loved the view from the deck, we saw so many birds, toucans and hummingbirds. A group of monkeys visited the property, too, just amazing. The pool was very nice and clean. Jerome was very helpful and responsive.

Precioso departamento duplex. Dentro de una villa muy tranquila con piscina. Full equipado. Lo recomiendo!!
