We had a comfortable time at this place. The view of Kanchenjunga was beautiful from there. The room is exactly as described and in a good locality. The host was very friendly and greeted us with a Darjeeling tea every morning and set up campfire at night whenever requested. It's a good area and i recommend choosing this place to stay.

We had an unforgettable stay at this charming cottage nestled amidst pristine natural hills. The location is a dream for nature lovers, surrounded by lush greenery, serene trails, and babbling streams. Whether you're an avid hiker or just want to soak in the tranquility of the hills, this place has it all. The nearby village is like stepping into a postcard, with its quaint monasteries and picturesque farms growing paddy and vibrant oranges. It’s a delightful escape into a simpler, more peaceful way of life. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the amazing hosts. They went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and make us feel at home. A special shoutout to Zabir, whose warm hospitality and global perspective (thanks to his years in Canada) truly elevated the experience. His responsiveness and thoughtful touches made our trip even more special. If you're looking for a blend of natural beauty, cultural charm, and impeccable hospitality, this is the perfect place!!

Karma’s Homestay in Gangtok was an absolute delight! The view from the balcony was simply breathtaking, offering a serene escape amidst the mountains. Manju was the heart of our stay—her warmth, kindness, and helpful nature made us feel truly at home. She went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, making our experience unforgettable. I would love to visit again and highly recommend this homestay to anyone looking for a peaceful and welcoming retreat!

We stayed for three nights. Although we were not lucky enough to have a sight of Kanchenjunga due to foggy weather, the stay was brilliant. Excellent location and the place was just as the pics if not even better. The kitchen is superb and very well thought of. Mall is also very close a merely 10mins distance from the stay. A special shout out to Pranesh (the caretaker), who is there to help you out in any time of problems, how smaller it may be Overall we had a fantastic stay in this gem of a property where we always had the vibe of staying at home. We had a relaxing and rejuvenating stay at Izom Him Homestay. The host was very responsive and caring, the Manager Raj was equally responsible and prompt. The food served by Pronita was homely and had amazing flavours. Only downside is the approach to the homestay which our host had well informed us. I wish the roads are mended pretty soon for easy access. We faced no difficulties in the commute as Raj had helped us with pick and drop services. Thank you for having us.

Fantastic place. Quiet (which was great as there was a festival on - rock- and this was out of the noise). The stroll into town was so enjoyable (note if walking is hard and being amongst the bustle is key then this might be a stretch). The views from two bedrooms are breathtaking- I’m not sure anywhere else would have this view. It was warm with lots of heating and hot water. Large kitchen. Large Lounge. Lots of places to be together or apart if you needed respite from each other. Very easy to communicate with. Everything works well.

Outstanding hospitality. The place is Sparkling clean with an extremely efficient cleaning service on the house . The views from the balconies are astonishingly beautiful. The place is huge can accommodate a big group . Nindiya even arranged a cook for home cooked meals for my diabetic parents who makes the best Paneer Bhurji. The kind gesture of breakfast with a personal note was heart warming. We have so much to learn from the hospitality of Sikkim is all I can say . Highly professional yet with a personal touch . Nindiya even arranged for Airport pick up and local sightseeing. The drivers are extremely polite . I am touched with the behavior and politeness of the people of Sikkim with top notch hospitality. Very similar to what we expect in the USA . This place is traditional yet extremely modern with all modern amenities including a Smart TV. It is a lovely, spacious accommodation that is perfect for a family of four to six. The largest window in the house has a lovely mountain view with seating set up so it can be enjoyed over morning coffee or evening drinks. Very comfortable stay and made convenient by the helpful staff.

We went with our 11 month old baby and a 7 year old son. The place is great and the breakfast was home cooked and cooked with great love and warmth. There are a slew of delivery restaurants that you can order from if you want to stay in and soak the environment during lunch or at dinner time. The place is done tastefully. Amazing attention to detail; a home away from home. Just off the mall road so you can easily walk down. I wish I could have stayed for a day or two more. Sanjeev and Shalla are great hosts.
