We were all very happy with the Barn and it was exactly as described. Amelia was hugely helpful in the run up to our stay and always on hand to answer any questions we had about our up coming stay. Upon arrival, we were left to our own devices but Amelia was only a phone call /email away should we have any questions or problems. The Hot-Tub was a huge amount of fun and perfectly clean for us and our children to use. All in all, we’re very happy and will definitely make plans to return again in the near future.

We had a wonderful stay in the lodges while visiting family in the area. Andrea was incredibly helpful from first communication and just the loveliest, most accomodating host. The lodges are idyllic and situated in lovely surroundings with nice walks. We will not hesitate to book again.

This property was perfect for our family weekend away with 6 adults 3 children and our energetic boxer dog! The location is peaceful and relaxing, perfect for the warm weather. The range of activities on offer at the site kept us all entertained in that we only needed to leave the site for a meal out at the recommended King’s arms in Winkleigh and a walk around the Winkleigh wood trail which was perfect to allow Bruno off the lead. The indoor facilities were clean and innovative, although the 3 smaller bedrooms are only really fit for sleeping which wasn’t an issue. The kitchen is fully kitted and the bathroom particularly clean and welcoming. We loved our stay, thank you Ian and family!

The cottage has been beautifully renovated and is in the middle of nowhere, the view from the hot tub of an evening is exquisite.... The layout is warm and spacious but also with plenty of outside space and walks. Nicky was very helpful prior to check in with very clear instructions, also very quick to help where needed during our stay. On our trip to the cottage we came across a herd of deer which started the magic... We will hopefully return

Exceptionally light, airy house with a truly lovely feel in an absolutely beautiful setting. The photos don't really do it justice as it felt quite magical. The beds are super comfy, the whole place is immaculately clean and it's a short walk to town and the Tor. Thanks Sophie for letting us stay.

Even lovelier than the pictures, spotlessly clean throughout, super comfy bed, well equipped kitchen, a lovely hot tub that we didn’t need to wait to heat up, beautiful views, adorable dogs and just so peaceful. Thank you to Mark & family, we look forward to staying again.

What an amazing place! We loved our weekend at Grey Gables. It was the perfect place to catch up with old friends by the fire and put the world to rights. The village is idyllic with great walks and views across the Glasto fields. The local Crown pub had top scoff, delicious local beers and cosy atmosphere. All in all our stay was ‘gurt lush!’

We had a wonderful stay here and would definitely come again/recommend to others. The flat was full of quirky extras and everything was catered for. They went above and beyond with all the finishing touches which made you feel welcome and right at home. It’s a short walk to Weymouth beach. Considering how close to everything it’s really quiet. To top it all off the hosts were so lovely and friendly. I’d give them 6 stars if I could :)

Had a great stay while here and was a perfect location

This was a perfect spot for a beach holiday with extended family. The house is so close to the beach, brilliant for morning and evening walks with the dog, and not too far to walk to the lifeguarded area for swimming. Close to great fish and chips too! The house was exactly what we needed, with plenty of space for cooking, eating together and watching the Olympics on the sofa when the afternoon sun got too hot to be outdoors. The decking area (with excellent sunshades) and hot tub were a bonus. While in Exmouth we tried the barge yoga organised by Exewake - would highly recommend it.

Hy husband, daughter and I had a fantastic time staying at Ilona’s barn conversion. The space was beautifully decorated and had absolutely everything we could have wished for. My 2 year old daughter loved her bedroom and all of the toys and books and really enjoyed going to visit the chickens! In the evenings, my husband and I enjoyed sitting out in the private garden area and watched the sun set in the hot tub - just perfect. If you’re looking for somewhere that is not only child friendly but beautiful and in the most serene setting, then look no further! Thank you for having us, we hope to come and visit again soon!

Had a fantastic stay at Josie’s property - easy to find and perfect location for walks and wild swimming. Josie was bursting with recommendations for local restaurants (we loved the Rugglestone Inn which is just a short walk away) and even furnished us with milk from the local farm. The Airbnb was very clean well stocked with teas and coffees, and beautifully decorated. Wish we could have stayed longer and I’m sure we’ll be back !

This is a lovely place to stay with beautiful views from the outside terrace. This accommodation had everything we needed and was very convenient for visiting local attractions such as Wells and Cheddar Gorge. Carol was excellent at communicating and very helpful when we needed to change our booking due to personal circumstances. Thank you for a great stay Carol and the delicious complimentary cream tea you left for us. We would definitely come back here again and recommend it to family and friends.

Absolutely blown away by the lodge , was so spacious and lovely luxury touches like the chocolates on the towels and complimentary shower jel and shampoo and the milk and biscuits etc . My elderly mum and auntie were overjoyed and loved every minute . Was nice to use the on site pool and want to come back again in the summer as the garden and bbq area and view breathtaking. A credit to Emily for all the personal touches and very well equipped . Can’t fault it !!!

Amazing cabin with everything you need. Seeing the animals every day was a real highlight! Easy to get around Devon and Somerset from the cabin.

It was a beautiful place to stay very peaceful and private, Owners left us cookie and milk upon arriving and also put out a info sheet for the surrounding area and instructions on the cabin and the hot tub very helpful. overall had a great time would definitely visit again

The Cabin was perfect for us and although our stay was short this time, we would love to return for a bit longer. Amy was the perfect host and we're so glad to have found her place. The house was beautiful and well arranged. We enjoyed watching the ponies and being surrounded by gorgeous countryside....thank you, Amy.

We had a great stay at Higher Manor Lodge. The cottage offered the perfect blend of rustic appeal and modern comfort. The cabin itself was lovely, with every amenity you could need for a relaxing getaway. We especially loved the cozy interior that made it feel like a home away from home. After days spent exploring the beautiful coastal town of Lyme Regis, coming back to such a peaceful and comfortable retreat was an absolute delight. The location couldn’t be better - close to local attractions and picturesque walking routes, it was the perfect base for our adventures. Overall, our experience was outstanding, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Higher Manor Lodge to anyone looking for a charming, serene escape. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

This was my second time staying at these cabins and it was just as great as the first time. Sue is always quick to respond and the peaceful nature of the cabins was perfect for a getaway with my Fiancé. would always recommend this if you're looking for a peaceful break with beaches 15 minutes away and Cardiff only a short drive too!

We had a lovely stay at the Hideout for a short Birthday celebration weekend away. Jason was very responsive and arrived to greet us to show us how things worked. Great recommendations for places to eat and visit. Would definitely stay at the Hideout again.
