What a beautiful spot! We loved being in such a peaceful location, just a short walk from being able to swim in the lake. Lovely's place had everything we need, including a nice outdoor area - perfect for storing bikes and drying swimming gear! Lovely was a dream to communicate with and went out of her way to make our stay great. We can't recommend staying here highly enough!

Die Unterkunft liegt etwas außerhalb in einer sehr schönen Wohngegend. Das Haus und die Wohnung sind sehr gepflegt und sauber. Die Betten, Bettwäsche und Handtücher sind toll und man schläft sehr ruhig., da das Haus in einer Sackgasse liegt. Um in den Ort zu gelangen, haben wir das Auto genommen, da es leider den ganzen Tag geregnet hat und uns der Fußmarsch dann zu lang war. Man ist aber auch sehr schnell zu Fuß am Seeufer. Die Aufteilung der Wohneinheiten mit der gemeinsam genutzten Küche sind sehr gut gelöst. Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut, Nespresso Maschine, Tee, Kaffee, alles vorhanden. Zur Begrüßung gab es eine Packung Kekse. Craig war bei unserer Ankunft zu Hause und hat es persönlich begrüßt, sehr freund sympathisch.

This BnB is not far from the CBD Taupo, 7 min drive. A lovely place, clean and tidy, comfortable bed and a fridge and oven warmer, and perfect for me that wanted drop- in accommodation for a few days. Tina the host is lovely. I would recommend this place to people .

Sandra was so accommodative , putting up with all our last minute requests 🙂 The place is super clean and location was just right for our trip.

l appartement se trouve au rdc de la maison, sans un quartier résidentiel très calme. Idéalement situé pour aller randonner dans la parc national de Tongariro. Supermarché à 10 minutes en voiture, à Turangi.

Our stay at Acacia Bay couldn't of been anymore perfect. Beautiful surroundings & a lovely little space with all the amenities we needed to relax & unwind Jane was an extremely happy & thoughtful host & we enjoyed our chats together. Would definitely stay here again & would highly recommend Jane's Air B&B to anyone wanting peace & tranquillity.

Jude was a wonderful host - very friendly and proactive. She provided a whole list of recommendations for the local area which was super useful. The location of the apartment was a stones throw away from the lake, and the apartment itself was well equipped and spacious. Thanks again, Jude, for your wonderful hospitality!

We did not have long here due to a short stay and full day hike, however the thermal pool and calming surroundings was a gold at the end of the day. Super comfy beds!!. Beautifully presented accomodation.

We had a relaxing stay in the cozy studio. Appreciated the good water pressure and the washing machine. Highly recommended.

What a perfect homely feel and a quiet and restful spot in a lively neighbourhood. The accommodation was so well equipped and very clean. Beds were comfortable. Owners live above and were so quiet you would not even know they were there. “Patch” was the perfect receptionist and no problem at all. Bex would respond to any messages with lightening speed. We felt so welcomed and were able to relax in a friendly environment with our friends and enjoy dinner on the outdoor area. It was the perfect stopover with everything at our fingertips, will come again for sure.

We stayed here because it was a John Scott home and it was amazing! It surpassed our expectations and everything in this accommodation is classy, generous and superb! Warm and cozy upstairs apartment with comfy chairs placed perfectly to enjoy the beautiful lake views and gorgeous sunset. Super comfy bed with luxurious sheets and duvet. Spacious shower with great pressure and lovely towels. Would definitely stay again AA

This is the perfect little place for 1 or 2 people. Everything was so meticulously furnished and there was nothing you needed. Spotlessly clean and every detail felt like a warm hug, right down to the little chocolates and coffee pods. Not too far to drive to the town centre and close to the lake. I will definately come back if visiting NZ in the future. Lake Taupo is such a beautiful place ! Thank you Werner for your fabulous accomodation, loved it !

We had a lovely and homely stay. Lynda and Graeme were wonderful hosts and the drinks and nibbles were a lovely touch. It was also a good location. Graeme recommended a fab bar/ restaurant on the Friday night that we thoroughly enjoyed. We would love to stay again, thank you both.

Très bon logement, spacieux et pratique car il permet de se rendre à des points forts de la région (à 1h de Tongariro et deTaranaki falls, à côté de Huka falls et 35 minutes d'Orakei Korako), ne pas hésiter à aller voir aussi le beau jardin d'heather.

2 Nächte habe ich im Apartment von Richard übernachtet um den Tongariro Crossing zu gehen, die Lage ist perfekt dafür. Das Apartment ist sehr schön, alles wie beschrieben und sehr sauber. Hier wäre ich gerne länger geblieben wenn ich mehr Zeit gehabt hätte.

For those who enjoy farm stays, I definitely recommend Cathy’s place. She is the best host I have ever met—very polite, friendly, and always approachable. Staying at Cathy’s place is great value for money and feels like staying in a homestead.
