Great stay in Santa Luzia. The place is clean and quiet, and there’s wonderful view from the roof top. There is a supermarket on the same block, which is convenient for the essentials. The restaurants are great, and Santa Luzia overall is a wonderful town. We stayed in October, so perhaps it was extra quiet and peaceful. Meeting the hosts on check in was helpful! Recommended!

From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. Annelies was there to welcome us and show us around the apartment and where everything was. Such a warm, friendly and helpful person. We unfortunately had a problem with getting the heating to work on our first night. We got in touch with Anton and Annelies and they came round the very next day with electric fan heaters and arranged for the problem to be sorted. The location is fantastic. Few minutes walk to the boardwalk with lots of good restaurants and Spar store and 10 minutes walk to the station. Lovely walks all around, Cabanas to Tavira around 1 hour 15 mins walking through the salt pans, ideal for bird spotting. A fantastic apartment with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The balcony is a sun trap, gets it most of the day and got quite hot considering it was only February. All in all a fantastic stay of just over 3 weeks. We can't wait to return. 10 out of 10.

A lovely apartment with first line view of the sea, perfect. We had one slight issue and that was the hairdryer was faulty but Lucia was amazing and got a new one for us the same day. Our only suggestion would be additional hangers for clothes as 4 available, and a kettle but that's a British thing more than anything wrong, but it was overcome by boiling water in a pan. A wonderful location, very warm and helpful host, we definitely hope to return and hope this apartment is available next time.👌

Nice accommodation with a balcony so that we could enjoy sunshine everyday. Kind and friendly landlady who provided us with a thick blanket and flexible check-in. But it was far away from the downtown and some famous beaches. So not recommended if you want to go there, but a quiet and nice place if you just wanna chill nearby and walk along the seaside.

My husband and I spent 4 nights in Lucia’s charming apartment. The building is in a lovely local neighbourhood, with everything just steps away. (Very easy walk to the municipal market, old town, mall, large new grocery store etc. The cleanliness, comfort and charm of the apartment was very much appreciated by us. In addition there is a lovely private oasis out back to enjoy in the nice weather. Most importantly to us though…, was the kindness and generosity of our amazing host Lucia. Always there if need be, and always with a smile. Thank you so much Lucia, we look forward to seeing you and staying again in the future.

Ein sehr schönes Apartment, mitten in der Stadt aber sehr ruhig gelegen. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt.

Die Einweisung bei der Ankunft hätte ein wenig ausführlicher sein können. Gute Restaurants in cabanas: Bodega , Coral, Pedro

Nous avons passé un séjour de 2 semaines vraiment très agréable. Le logement est très propre et très fonctionnel. Le quartier est paisible. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques. Il y a beaucoup de plages exceptionnelles dans cette partie de l’algarve et des villes magnifiques à visiter (Tavira, Loulé etc). Nous reviendrons avec plaisir profiter de cette région dont la douceur de vivre coïncidait parfaitement avec les prestations de ce logement.

This was the perfect location for a getaway weekend with our family of 5! Catherine gave amazing recommendations on what to do around the area as well as local restaurants and stores! The house was perfect for our baby and two young kids. We loved the easy access to the dunes to go on “adventure walks” and how cozy the house was. It was so quiet and in such a beautiful location!

Lovely and peaceful stay and a perfect location to explore the amazing area in and around Tavira, a truly underrated part of the Algarve. The house is perfect for a small family. Very chilled, off the beaten path. Great stay and super easy!

Nina's house was absolutely perfect! Stylish, clean, extensive kitchen range, even toys for our little son. We had the best time! And Nina was so friendly and helpful. We definitely recommend this place.

A casa de José e Cátia é muito aconchegante e ainda tem 2 terraços maravilhosos!! A comunicação com José foi excelente. Ele nos recebeu com muita alegria. Estávamos perto de tudo, do festival, da praia, dos restaurantes, mercadinhos… amei passar esses dias na Fuseta e tocar no festival. Obrigada!! E espero voltar a vossa casa na Fuseta!

Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub in einem schönen Haus mit großem Pool und Garten. Durch die vielen Angebote wie das Volleyballfeld, Tischtennis und Billard kann es einem hier gar nicht langweilig werden. Die Kommunikation war super und es hat alles problemlos geklappt. Die Lage des Hauses ist in einer sehr ruhigen Gegend, zu Fuß ist nur wenig zu erreichen aber mit dem Auto ist man in wenigen Minuten in der Stadt, am Strand oder am Supermarkt. Vielen Dank für das tolle Haus und den schönen Urlaub.

The house is located just 5mins from the highway yet quietly nestled in the countryside. It’s private and peaceful with a distant view of the ocean. The terrace is the perfect spot to watch the most beautiful sunrise. We had 2 small children and 2 dogs who loved the expansive gardens to run and play, the pool was inviting but we didn’t make it in for a dip. The house felt spacious and relaxed and the beds were extremely comfortable, a rare find in Portugal, the showers were hot and had amazing pressure. Monika and Ralf were very responsive whenever we had a question or required assistance, given the Christmas holidays we were very grateful to have such good hosts. The perfect house for a large family to share special memories.

Pleasant winter stay - although one quick dip in the pool was enough to persuade me you would need to be a polar bear! Flat was, as others have commented, quite cluttered with things and therefore very much appears like a home. Super convenient for the supermarket and walk down into town. Joana is as also kind enough to lend her bicycle if you fancy travelling further/faster. Some great restaurants recommended by Joana in the town/area. Heavy smoker down the corridor means the building fills with smoke-smell, but you can’t choose your neighbours. Lift works efficiently….

Mooie accommodatie met prachtig zwembad. Fátima is een vriendelijke host met goede tips in de omgeving.

The apartment was perfect for our stay in Tavira. Pleasant living room, fully equiped cooking area (dish washer, washing machine, microwave, lots of cups, plates and cutlery), nice bedroom with comfortable bed. The balcony is south facing so gets morning sun for breakfast and evening sun for dinner. It is about 2 km fromTavira centre so is easily walkable. The apartment is very conveniently located - about 30 minutes drive from Faro airport and there are a number of attractions within 30 minutes drive.

I just returned from Tiagos place.. and already booked a winter stay. Golden Club has a superb location, free water taxi to the nearby beach on the adjacent island, excellent pool facilities, winter and summer, and friendly helpful staff... but some very mixed reviews re their apartments locations, views and cleanliness, which are generally allocated on arrival. So I decided to book Tiagos apartment and know exactly where I was going. Great Result! Its a wee bit decor/equipment tired, but its a fairly big one bedroom apartment, tiled floors, easy clean, and the highlight is its in a quiet location in the resort, close to the deeper outdoor pool, and indoor pool, has all day sun on the balcony, is not affected by the noise of bars or evening entertainment, ( off season anyway) has decent wifi, a well equipped small kitchen.. and everything works . When there was an issue, Tiago was on it right away, rang me, friendly , helpful, sorted. Recommend.

Just enjoyed a lovely month in Conceicao at Casa Pippa. Another great vacation here. Casa Pippa is like a home from home as it is well equipped. Location is lovely too and with easy access to everything you need... restaurants, supermarket, beach, bike hire, golf courses, train station

A wonderful place to stay. The flat is spacious and comfortable and very pleasant. Excellent bathroom and kitchen. Parking is easy and wifi good. Walkable to the water and numerous restaurants and cafes. Santa Luzia itself is gorgeous, peaceful and sunny. Make sure you visit the beach which is stunning and has a nice restaurant. Loved it!

We had a fantastic stay at Ana's condo in Cabanas de Tavira. It was the perfect location for us. Walking distance to the beach, restaurants and local amenities. The condo is beautifully decorated with a fabulous kitchen! I have a lot of food sensitivities and need to cook a lot of our meals. The kitchen was incredibly well equipped! Even though we visited in a cooler time of year (February) it was still lovely to sit outside on the patio. The afternoon sun warmed up the space nicely. There are 2 sliding doors and 1 door into the condo. So much beautiful light on the sunny days! Thank you Ana for your hospitality - you are so responsive and kind. We loved staying in our condo and hope to be back next year!

Ons verblijf van begin februari tot eind maart was zeer aangenaam. We genoten van het zeer compleet ingerichte appartement met beide terrassen. Omdat we met eigen vervoer waren hebben we regelmatig van de ondergrondse parkeergarage met lift naar de 2de verdieping gebruik kunnen maken. Maar ook het parkeren op straat was veilig en makkelijk. Jammer dat het weer in de laatste weken met regenbuien en wind wat tegenviel. Bij mooi weer vonden we het strand Baril met restaurant een aanrader, ook Santa Luzia en hele omgeving is een bezoek waard. We zijn zeer tevreden aan onze thuisreis naar Nederland begonnen.
