Amazing place, amazing hosts. Been staying at Merrijig for many years and this is one of the best homes we’ve stayed in. Kind hosts with complementary food and drinks that were left for us at check-in. Very strongly recommend.

Pete and Jill are such incredible people. You can see the love they have poured into their property. They strived to do everything possible to make our stay enjoyable, even though we had so many hold ups in getting to the property and arrived very late. Breakfast was absolutely beautiful and we really were made to feel at home. Thank you both so much!

Felicity and Lew's place was such a great getaway for a few nights. The house inside was just amazing set up. The outside we enjoyed the company of the cows, horses, beautiful King parrots and of course the possums at night. Just had the best time. You must also visit the Witches Garden which Felicity and Lew have done an amazing job of the garden. Felicity and Lew were also very welcoming. would highly recommend this farm stay. John and Anne's property is beautiful with an abundance of birds. We felt much happier staying in Harrietville over Bright and the bigger towns in the area. A fantastic base to head off and explore the Alpine.

WOW – What an incredible stay! I had a special and meaningful weekend planned with close friends, and our time at Victoria’s Barn exceeded every expectation. From the stunning views to the spacious interiors, everything was perfect. The kitchen and dining area were equipped with everything we needed for a big group dinner – not to mention how picturesque it all was! The location offered quick access to town, plenty of space to relax and unwind, and we were even treated to the company of so many kangaroos – a magical touch. Victoria's communication was flawless. She provided a clear breakdown of bedrooms and bathrooms before our arrival, which made planning for the group seamless and stress-free – something I truly appreciated. If you’re looking for the perfect spot for a large group or family gathering, immersed in nature, Victoria’s Barn is it. Beautiful memories are guaranteed here. Josh place was fantastic. We went as 2 families with 5 kids (one 20 months). Please was perfect, close to the village and all amenities. Easy storage for ski gear. Perfect for the first time taking young kids skiing. John was very responsive and helpful as well. We would happily stay here again. Chris

Imagine a charming countryside retreat designed for a small family, nestled in lush greenery with a beautiful garden as its centerpiece. This tranquil escape offers a cozy cottage or tiny house surrounded by vibrant flowers, fruit trees, and winding pathways. A private yard provides space for children to play, while a secluded patio invites relaxation with morning coffee or evening stargazing. We enjoied our stay with our grand kids last week ends. We loved our stay at the cottage! The house is comfortable, welcoming and in the most stunning location. Travelling with 2 young kids, there was so much to do - exploring the walnut farm, fishing and kayaking in the river, jumping on the trampoline and playing soccer and basketball! Our stay at Moyhu was lovely, Juliana is an amazing host and nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation itself is beautiful, comfy bed, gorgeous styling and we fell in love with the feature tiles! It was very tastefully decorated and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Our pup was welcomed as much as we were, and she loved watching (and barking at!) the neighbouring cows. We highly recommend staying here with Jules, and we'll definitely stay again!

We loved our stay at Charles Street. Jane was a fabulous host. She communicated well, gave very clear instructions and was very responsive. The house was pristine and every amenity you could ask for was provided. Beds were very comfortable. Lovely personal touches, such as fans / cooling on for our arrival and some milk in the fridge for us. We would happily stay here again and would recommend this property to anyone. Thanks Jane. We absolutely loved our stay. The views were beyond beautiful, the lodge was so cute and felt very warm and comfortable, perfect home for a perfect setting. Hosts were lovely and easy to deal with, everything we needed was available and easy to find. The kids absolutely loved it. Beautiful town, walks, wineries and food. We can’t wait to stay again!

We loved our stay in Harrietville. The house had everything we needed and more! We loved the stunning surroundings and the river access at the back of the property. We spent most of our time lounging on the deck which was fabulous! The coffee machine was an added bonus that we bloody loved! Will definitely be back!

Everything was provided to make our stay truly feel like home. The whole family had a fantastic time lounging by the expansive pool on warm summer days. The outdoor shower and BBQ area were additional highlights, perfect for relaxation and entertainment. The spacious house features generously sized bedrooms and exceptionally comfortable beds, ensuring a restful stay. We highly recommend this property to anyone seeking a peaceful retreat in the high country. Lastly, our host was incredibly friendly, responsive, and easy to communicate with, making the entire experience seamless and enjoyable. Five stars, without a doubt!

Perfect base for a snow trip. The house is great for a group and within walking distance to the pub and restaurants. Vicky was proactive in contacting me and making sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again

What a charming and delightful place - the Tuscan style pool was as good as we'd hoped it would be on a 36 degree day! Peter and Jamie are the perfect hosts, so too was Djinni the dog as other reviewers have pointed out. Beautiful gardens (thanks again for the tour!), quiet location, excellent amenities, within walking distance of the rail trail - what more could one want?

The unit was clean as recently been updated, with everything you need and close locations to shops and easy access to everything.

This is a fabulous house. The location is brilliant and we loved that we didn’t have to use our car. The river, with the play area was a few minutes walk, and cafes, brewery and shops just across the bridge, a few minutes further. The house itself was perfect for our large group. It’s open, airy, and I loved how the living area opened up to the outside area with huge glass sliding doors. The pool/spa was a lovely addition and it was great to come home after a day out, to enjoy a swim. The kitchen is well equipped, and has basic condiments that you need. The bedrooms are spacious, with comfortable beds. Linda, the owner was extremely responsive and also gave a few tips of local gems. Do not hesitate booking this house, you will definitely not be disappointed. 10/10
