This place was spacious & beautiful! The outside area & dock was perfect for all of us! The kitchen was stocked w/ many plates, pots & pans. Would definitely come back !!

We booked Martin's cottage for rest/relaxation during the holiday season with our growing extended family. The space was appropriate for young children, our aging parents, and our beloved furry family members. Thank you for your hospitality and warmth throughout the booking process. This was a very comfortable property. It definitely lived up to the advertisement! Unfortunately, we didn’t get to try the eggs. I wish we had brought a carton container with us. My daughter-in-law was able to visit with Sherry and see the chicken coop first hand. The tub/shower combo was beautiful. The coffee/tea provisions were appreciated. We will definitely keep it in mind as I have MS appointments at Hotel Dieu that extend over days. Clean, comfortable and perfect for our canine family members! 10 minutes out of the city. We will be back!

We loved the quiet, peaceful surroundings, the spaciousness of the cottage, and the beautiful views from every window. We love music and spent a couple of evenings just sipping wine and listening to music through the sound system routed through the ceilings. The kitchen was beyond well equipped! Further, Donna delivered extra pellets for the stove before we had to ask, and Erik generously mitigated the problem with the hot tub. Truly special hosts who care about their guests and their comfort.

Our six weeks stay at Heathers place was amazing. She is one of the most accommodating hosts we have ever had the pleasure of meeting. The house was supurb, well heated and cozy for our winter stay. The kitchen modern and well equipped. The two bedrooms we used were a little small but more than adequate for our needs and the yard spacious. We had such a lovely family retreat. The lot size was VERY spacious and had room for many outdoor activities. That said, it would have been amazing to have a fenced in yard for our dogs, but we knew what we were getting into. Everything was clean and organized. Being right on the water was amazing! The kids were able to play by the shore and we were all able to enjoy the water. We had a wonderful stay over Thanksgiving weekend at this beautiful, cozy, and private home. The rustic farmhouse feel made it the perfect place to relax. We especially loved having access to the many kayaks and canoes, which added to the overall experience. Julie was incredibly quick to respond to our messages and very accommodating when we ran into some minor issues. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and we would definitely come back again!

Such a lovely location and beautifully decorated apartment. Enjoyed everything about it from sitting out on the deck watching birds, boats etc to firepits in the evening and walking to the local Tikki Bar for food, beverage and socializing. We found the people in this area to be the friendliest we've come across in our travels. Oh yes and the bed is heaven.

This home was one of the most relaxing Airbnbs we’ve stayed at. From the moment we walked in, we felt right at home. You can tell the hosts have hospitality experience because there wasn’t one thing we felt like we were missing while we were there. Example: we forgot toothpaste and found it easily right in the amenities basket in the bathroom. We highly recommend this spot for a staycation. It’s 2 hours away from Toronto and just the perfect spot for a weekend away. It’s definitely on our list to go back to!

Jeremy's place is a perfect spot for a getaway. Clean, private, quiet and a great location. We look forward to returning in the summer to have some fun on the water. I would absolutely recommend this stay to anyone, check out a show at the Neat Cafe just a short walk away.

We absolutely loved our stay here for Valentines Days Weekend. It was our last Valentine’s Day as a family of 2 and really need a getaway and Rob and Shari’s place was the perfect spot. We fell inlove with their air bnb instantly and would instantly love there if we could in a heartbeat. Rob and Shari are so friendly and very welcoming. Always checked in during the snow storm to make sure if we go out to let them know so they could get the snow all cleaned so we could get out and all. Their place is insanely beautiful and very high tech which we love and very large . Perfect location. We plan on coming back again and hopefully next time it will be with our little one :)

we were visiting family in the area and this was a perfect base for us. it is small but very warm and cosy (stayed December/January) and has everything you need. it is very well laid out and doesn't feel small at all. Stacy and Bruce were absolutely lovely and very kind people (even cleared snow from our steps each morning). There was everything we wanted there down to the last detail. We are regular visitors to the town although this was the first time we have stayed with Stacy and Bruce, we will definitely rebook for our next visit.

Place as advertized. All amenities there that were needed. Nice and quiet. Good place to telax.

Absolutely amazing, we had great plans, but the ice storm and the cozy fireplace changed those plans. Hermann and Tracy were an absolute blast! Super chill, and super friendly, we would come back just to spend time with them! We had a cute visitor to come check up on us as well! We hope to be back, thank you hosting us Hermann and Tracy!

We had a fantastic stay for a long weekend (birthday) getaway. Nice private location with a view. Enjoyed the hot-tub while watching the first snowfall of the season, wood stove and the well stocked kitchen. Host even left some treats for my pup, which she really enjoyed and was very responsive/helpful. Pros: private location, right on the water, kayak/canoe/hot tub for use, well stocked kitchen, responsive host! Cons: (only 1!) mice! My dog could not stop hunting the cabin throughout our stay lol (she is dedicated, like a cat!) , and we did find some droppings on the dishes in the cupboards, before use. Overall - we had a fantastic time. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay. We hope to be back soon!

Arriving at the cottage was how the pictures were. We went in March and it was cold, but walking into the cottage part the heat was on and we felt right at home. Kitchen & bathroom well stocked. The fireplace was great to have to add warmth. Beautiful scenery looking over the lake from a chair or sofa. A place we would rent again.

Our retreat at the cabin was just what we needed. The walk to the waterfront was a beautiful easy hike on the path/road on the property!e found the kitchen stocked with everything we needed, s as was the bathroom. The beds were comfortable with quality linen. We loved the homey feel of this country cabin and enjoyed the atmosphere and property! My favourite part was the photo album of the restoration of this historical building. You did beautiful job respecting its history while bringing it into this century😊 Thank you so much for opening this treasure up to us.

What a wonderful escape! The water nearly surrounded the cottage and every direction you have a gorgeous view. Our days were spent on the lake in the kayak exploring the area. The water was so clear that you could see all the fish. Our dogs loved the area and the swimming. The area was private, and had everything we needed. We hope to return next summer!

I have only the best things to say about my stay at one of Taylor and Pierre's cabins. The location is stunningly beautiful and the cabins and grounds are even nicer than they appear in the pictures. The addition of the free to use kayaks and canoes, plus the large, communal kitchen made for a wonderful stay. Even the campers that I met there only had great things to say! Taylor and Pierre themselves are wonderful hosts who go out of their way to make sure that your stay is memorable, peaceful, and effortless. Additionally, Pierre gave great local advice about where to go and what to see and do as well as insight into small things like the most affordable gas stations in the area. Again. Cannot say enough great things. 5/5 and I will definitely be staying with them again

Such a peaceful, beautiful location hosted by very friendly, easy-going people. We enjoyed the setting in amongst the trees with open sky views and were blessed with a clear sky on our second night to see the magical array of stars! We will definitely be back!
